Chapter 118 Second Chances

Mary Grimm was a soft-hearted woman. Otherwise, she wouldn't have chosen to forgive Isaac Davis after being lied to by Isaac Davis for several years!

Therefore, when she saw Olivia crying, her heart melted instantly!

"Olivia!"

Emilia hugged her daughter as she screamed, "Mum!"

She was in a dilemma!

For her, she really wanted this man to return home, but she was also afraid of being lied to once again.

She held onto her head which was feeling heavy and went back to her room which only had a metal bed and an old fan. Thereafter, she closed the door behind her.

Due to how she had been undernourished for years, her body was weak. Every time she got angry, she would have a terrible headache.

Olivia Walker bit her lips. Her big, watery eyes were saying a million things, but she didn't dare to open her mouth.

Oliver Walker looked at her, and he knew what she was trying to say!

They could read each other's minds, and it was louder than any words that they could say!

"From today onward, you will be sleeping in the living room!

"If you dare walk into the bedroom with any ill intentions, I will kill you!"

Emilia continued saying in a cold tone, "If you feel wronged, you can leave anytime you want. Other than Olivia, no one would stop you from leaving!"

This was the most that she could handle!

Plus, she had to quickly figure out who Oliver Walker was.

If he really became the runaway soldier everyone hated, he didn't deserve to be forgiven!

She could wait for a poor hero who fought to protect the country!

But, she would not wait for a cowardly runaway soldier!

This was a matter of pride, and she would not bend it for anyone!

"I…..I have no objection to it!

Oliver Walker had a mix of emotions in him!

In fact, it felt really uncomfortable that he was being questioned, but he had no good explanation to defend himself.

As long as he could stay in this house, even if it was a sofa with a few broken holes, it was still something that he could sleep on.

He had a roof over his head, and it was better than those times when he had to sleep in the desert!

He obviously wouldn't remember how the chance that he got to stay in the living room was because his daughter begged for it!

She knew that her mother was feeling wronged. She quickly took out all of the precious medals and showed them to her mother to prove her father's identity!

Emilia was shocked when she saw the medals, but she quickly said, "Let's head to bed!"

In fact, her daughter had never asked for anything from them since she was a young girl.

The last time that Olivia asked for something was a long time ago. She couldn't even remember when it was.

Even if she suffered, she wouldn't want her daughter to suffer along with her.

As she looked at the medals, she made up her mind that she would be heading to the military department to find out the truth.

She would not be accusing Oliver Walker for now, and at the same time, she would not be tricked by anyone else!
