1366 Departure! (1)
A cosmos level spacecraft left Defense Planet No. 29.
The fleet outside the planet lined up on both sides of its trajectory, as if sending the vessel off.
The ship became smaller and smaller as it delved into space, gradually turning into a dot before it disappeared.
Many on the planet were monitoring the ship’s departure. General Cameron and his group, and even Veblen, Moira, Peggy, Huo Qiya and Di Qi…
Many martial warriors went to see him depart after hearing the news.
—the main reason being that the one riding on that vessel was the one who had made unparalleled achievements on Defense Planet No. 29!
All that he was leaving on the planet would eventually become a legend!
His exploits would probably be forgotten with the passing of time, but if the hero rose further and engraved his name throughout the universe, his legacy would only be filled with more colors and be longer lasting!
Just like General Fu Xinglan!
He might even surpass the latter!
However, the future was unknown; the road ahead was still long and full of variables.
The ship traveled to a remote planetary sector. A figure clad in crimson armor flew out of the craft, which then vanished, to be replaced by a larger crimson spacecraft.
The difference between the two vessels was like comparing an ant and an elephant.
The figure then entered the new spacecraft and set forth at an astonishing speed, disappearing into the vast space.
…
Inside the spacecraft—Wang Teng was seated in the main control room. His armor disappeared, revealing his face.
“Round Ball, how long till we reach the Light Velvet Planet?” he asked calmly while looking into the distance.
Round Ball floated next to him and stretched out a hand. A vast starry sky was then shown, brimming with countless stars. Galaxies were intertwined, turning the whole view into a bright picture of the cosmos.
A path was drawn, stretching all the way to a planet located in a remote galaxy.
“Based on our speed, provided no accident occurs, we can get there in five days,” said the little one.
“It’ll be faster than expected.” Wang Teng nodded.
“That’s right. Good thing we repaired the Flaming River in advance; we wouldn’t be as fast if we hadn’t.” Round Ball smiled.
Wang Teng frowned, “Repairing this ship costs me a pretty penny.”
The Flaming River suffered serious damage when he was being hunted down by the Sailen the universe stage warrior. Round Ball also did its best to make the needed repairs.
And right when the Flaming River was finally repaired, the Devil Slayer was then damaged during the battle with the Obelisk Scale Dragon Beast. Good thing it could be replaced in the meantime.
“It’ll cost a lot of money to repair the Devil Slayer.” Round Ball’s heart ached.
“Will we run out of money soon?” Wang Teng said bitterly.
“Almost. We spent a lot to repair Flaming River. We would run dry if we were to repair Devil Slayer right now.” Round Ball then came up with a bad idea, “However, you can definitely make a lot of money if you sell the immaculate energy stones.”
“Come on, those stones are priceless. It’s better to keep them for our own use.” Wang Teng rolled his eyes. “The military gave me a lot of rewards; I can use them to buy things. Besides, my National Military Medal might get me special discounts and privileges. This would be a good time to test it.”
“You shouldn’t buy everything via the Empire; it would be easy for others to guess you own a universe-level spacecraft.” Round Ball frowned. “After all, the things we’d buy would be intended for spacecraft repairs of that level. It would be obvious.”
“We should just buy a portion of what we need, to avoid making people suspicious,” Wang Teng suggested.
“That’s our only option.” Round Ball sighed. “Life without money is tough!”
“It’s all because of the antman queen. The Devil Slayer would have been as battered otherwise.” Wang Teng got up from his seat. “Let’s go and have a look.”
In the next moment, Wang Teng and Round Ball’s bodies disappeared and moved into the Devouring Space.
This wasn’t Nihility’s space, but Wang Teng’s own.
His Devouring Space appeared once World Devourer was attained.
Only then did he learn that the two came in a combo package!
Was this considered a surprise?
But that was not all. The real surprise was…
His and the Devouring Nihility Beast’s spaces were connected!
This allowed for exchanges and transfers with Nihility through their link.
After learning this, Wang Teng did some experimenting. Although transfers were possible, there were many restrictions.
The first was consumption.
Exchanging spaces required space power, and the further he and Nihility were apart, the more space power it was consumed.
It was similar to teleportation!
Wang Teng and the Devouring Nihility Beast were just like two mobile space nodes. Given their connection, they could be switched at any time, which was amazing.
