1711 Ice Crevices! Forbidden Ground? (3)
But, at this moment…
The Lightning Spirit squeaked and charged right into the gaping mouth of the Lightning Chaotic Beasts.
The Lightning Chaotic Beasts: ???
“What is this little creature doing?” Wang Teng and Elizabeth were shocked.
Little White only realized what happened after a few seconds. “Master, will Little Lightning Spirit be alright?”
“This little creature is quite daring,” Wang Teng said.
“Roar!”
The Lightning Chaotic Beast let out a burst of angry roar. But soon, its voice betrayed a hint of panic.
It seemed to have transformed instantly from a ferocious tiger into a big cat, its destiny firmly grasped by the nape of its neck.
Originally, Wang Teng was concerned about the Lightning Spirit’s safety but now, his countenance turned strange.
“Is this little creature causing a ruckus inside the belly of the Lightning Chaotic Beasts?” Elizabeth asked in surprise.
“It looks like the Lightning Spirit is the bane of the Lightning Chaotic Beasts.” Wang Teng smiled.
Roar!
Suddenly, the Lightning Chaotic Beasts roared in anger, its massive body thrashing wildly amidst the chaotic currents. The sparks of lightning around it shone brightly as if it was about to explode.
It even clawed at its stomach with its massive claws, piercing directly into its body as if trying to grasp something from within.
If this was a real star beast with flesh and blood, it would undoubtedly be gruesome and terrifying.
Thankfully, it was just a Chaotic Beast.
Nevertheless, it still appeared eerie and unnerving.
Wang Teng and Elizabeth exchanged glances, sensing a tinge of fear in the Lightning Chaotic Beast’s roar. This situation was truly beyond their expectations.
What had the Lightning Spirit done?
Roar!
Suddenly, the roars of the Lightning Chaotic Beast ceased. Its body exploded violently, transforming into clusters of chaotic currents. it didn’t reassemble.
A golden light sphere darted out within the chaotic currents.
A bolt of lightning followed closely behind. It was the Lightning Spirit.
Wang Teng had a sudden thought. He stretched out his hand and grabbed the golden light sphere. He kept it in his Devour Space.
“Squeak squeak!” The Lightning Spirit whined pitifully at Wang Teng.
“Be patient, I’ll keep it for you first, and you can have it later,” Wang Teng reassured with an unchanged expression.
The Lightning Spirit: …
Elizabeth: …
Little White: …
Why does this sentence sound so familiar?
“Cough, hurry up and kill the Chaotic Beasts,” Wang Teng coughed awkwardly and said.
Elizabeth shot beams of light from her dragon horns, swiftly exterminating the remaining heaven-stage Chaotic Beasts.
Wang Teng picked up the attribute bubbles and the golden light spheres.
…
“Master, there’s an iceberg ahead,” Elizabeth suddenly said half a day later.
“Iceberg?” Wang Teng was stunned. He followed Elizabeth’s gaze and looked over.
He was a distance away so he couldn’t see clearly.
Elizabeth was a universe stage presence so she could see further than him.
Wang Teng activated his Real Eye. Where his gaze fell, he indeed saw vast stretches of icebergs!
In the past few days, he came across a few scattered piles of rocks in the Chaotic Uncharted but that was it. He didn’t meet any other substantial objects.
In chaos, all things undergo metamorphosis, and by principle, anything could come into existence.
However, such occurrences were rare within 3,000 kilometers of the transit island.
Especially the existence of such a distinctive terrain.
This time, what they encountered was not some scattered rocks or small patches of land. It was a vast expanse of icebergs.
“Come, let’s take a look.” Wang Teng’s eyes lit up.
He saw numerous fluctuations of the Origin Energy of Chaos in that direction. This indicated the presence of Chaotic Beasts, possibly even some who had mastered the Origin of Ice.
“Okay!” Elizabeth didn’t object. Though she couldn’t see the energy fluctuations, she could sense that the area ahead was far from ordinary, and there might be Chaotic Beasts present. She reminded him, “Master, be careful of the Chaotic Beasts.”
“I understand.” Wang Teng nodded.
There was still some distance between them and the icebergs. Fortunately, they were fast enough and managed to reach the icebergs after traveling for some time.
The closer he got to the iceberg, the colder it felt.
This region was completely shrouded in ice. It even caused the Origin Energy of Chaos to freeze into misty crystals.
“This place is truly remarkable,” Elizabeth remarked as she casually picked up an ice crystal. Her gaze filled with awe.
“Indeed, this is probably one of the marvels within the chaos,” Wang Teng replied.
“These ice crystals seem to contain a rich concentration of chaotic energy. Can we keep them for later use?” Elizabeth hesitated as she felt the ice crystal in her hand and asked.
“We can use them, but they need to be kept at extremely low temperatures to maintain their current state,” Wang Teng replied. He held onto an ice crystal and sensed it.
“Are these ice crystals the same as the Chaos Element Crystals?” Elizabeth asked.
“It’s not the same thing. These are just frozen Origin Energy of Chaos while the Chaos Element Crystals are high-density chaotic energy crystals formed through a special evolution process,” Wang Teng shook his head and explained, “This vast expanse of energy ice crystals might only be equivalent to a palm-sized Chaos Element Crystal.”
He hadn’t seen the real Chaos Element Crystals but he was familiar with them.
Elizabeth nodded in deep thought. She wanted to throw the energy ice crystal away.
“But, since we’re here, let’s not waste this chance.” Wang Teng waved his hand and collected all the energy ice crystals around him.
