Chapter 49 – Bloodlines

“I think we’re about due a full explanation by now...” Shizune says.

Having gotten out of our rooms we all gathered in the lodgings lobby and after paying for some breakfast we all gathered around.

Tsunade, Shizune and her pet Tonton, Anko, Sakura, Hinata, Ino and me. Our group remains quite large, 3 girls, 3 women, 1 piglet and 1 man.

“Let’s skip over what you’ve done to me and Shizune... First I want to know how exactly you got healed.”

I finish the leftover bacon on my plate before answering Tsunade’s question.

“I guess I should start by explaining my ability. I don’t exactly know how to categorize it, a power, a bloodline, a goldenfinger or a Kekkei genkai. There seems to be many parts to it.”

I’ll skip over the mention of hormones, the concept is just too foreign for a ninja's education and would just raise more questions over what I can do with them or how got to know about them.

“Whatever it is, the first part allows me to help the growth of my body and others.“

“Hmmm, is that how a bunch of Genin already seems Chunin level in strength?” Tsunade asks, eyeing Sakura and Hinata.

“It helped yes, but it’s through our own effort. It wouldn’t accomplish anything without hard work behind it. As for the other effects... I’ll just be blunt. When I have sex with a kunoichi with a strong bloodline it both awakens their bloodline and empowers my own.”

“So that's what happened to me and you... do you know what exactly happens, how exactly are our bloodlines changed?”

I struggle to come up with an explanation for the messages.

“I get, let’s say some hint imprinted in my mind, I can know in detail what happened to me but I can only hint at what you got.”

“So what exactly did you get?”

“For me, I obtained the strong vitality of the Senju, it was thanks to that I managed to fight back the curse preventing my wounds from healing.

As for you... The only hint I got was the number 8...”

“You have to be joking with me...”

Tsunade seems unamused by the hint.

“I’d tell you more if I could. As for Ino, I haven’t tried it but it seems I got the ability to remotely trade messages with people. Some kind of chakra-transmitted thought communication, telepathy. And the hint I got of her powers was Nyx.”

4 in our world similarly means death. It is one of the reasons 8 means luck as it stands as the doubling of misfortune 4, thus inverting its meaning.

I don't need to go any further as Tsunade and Shizune both understood who the two deaths were. Dan and Nawaki, Tsunade’s brother and ex-boyfriend.

I let the two have a minute to brood before I decide to finish the topic.

“So where do we go from here?” I ask.

“Home, Konohagakure. With or without Tsunade, we leave tomorrow.” Anko replies.

“I’ve decided... I will return to Konoha.”

“Tsunade-sama?” Shizune asks.

“I have been gone long enough. I think... I am ready to return, to help keep my home safe and my brethren healthy, though I refuse to become the Hokage.”

Sakura turns to Anko.

“I told you this was gonna happen Anko-sensei, now we got another slut after Yami’s cock.”

A vein pops in Tsunade’s head.

With our breakfast finished the girls head outside with Tsunade and Shizune to enjoy the myriad of gambling sites the city provides.

I wished to join but got stopped by Anko, we each leave a shadow clone along with the girls as they leave and stay behind in our room for the rest of the day.

I almost couldn't believe the memories I got later from my clone.

Just as the rumors we heard the day before, Tsunade had become a goddess of luck... one had only to side with her and winning was guaranteed...

We got banned from half the facilities in town but at least we’re leaving town with very fat wallets.

My clone already thought of all we can do with the money and it seems the #1 priority is going to be to get a larger and isolated place of our own, and the biggest bed we can fit inside.

After tonight I'm abandoning team futon.

Give me a soft bed any day to bounce with my girls on.

As for me and Anko... this talk has been long overdue.
