The next day, he left home early so that he would not be late for Wakaba and the others to get to the station.

Since there was no errand to run, he took a little detour before heading to the station.

After taking a little detour, he arrived at the station just in time for the meeting.

Everyone had arrived at the station, so they decided to leave as planned.

Wakaba was naturally there, but Shiraishi was standing next to her as if it was a matter of course.

It had become a familiar sight, so everyone treated him as a matter of course.

Daiki tried not to look at them while they were on the move, but seeing Wakaba and Shiraishi together for such a long time made his chest feel tighter than usual.

They arrived safely at the theme park and entered together.

At first, everyone was traveling together, but then everyone suggested that Wakaba and Shiraishi should be alone together.

Wakaba and Shiraishi are not in a relationship, but a friend of his who goes to the same high school as Wakaba and Shiraishi said they were trying to get them to get together.

Considering that Daiki was also supporting them, it seemed natural to do so.

Despite the pain in his heart, he decided to go along with the others and let Wakaba and Shiraishi be alone with each other.

It would be easy to leave Wakaba alone with Shiraishi, who is always next to her, but when he asks his friends what they would do he answers:

“We’ll ask them to get some drinks, and while they’re on their way to the store, we tell them that we don’t need them and that they should go on to the next ride. If they call us, tell them we made a mistake and that they should go on the other ride until they meet up with us. After that, just take the opposite ride so that we don’t meet up, and hopefully we’ll be able to continue on until the evening!”

He said.

Is it really okay? He thought so, but it worked out easily.

It was convenient for Shiraishi because he likes Wakaba, but he doesn’t know about Wakaba.

Daiki could hardly enjoy himself after that.

Even though he tried not to care about it, it bothered him.

It was now evening and it was time to meet up, but this time they were in the opposite area and couldn’t meet up right away.

Everyone wanted to play until the end of the night, so they decided to go their separate ways until the park closed.

Daiki was not able to enjoy the park until the end.

After the evening, he told everyone that he was resting because he was tired and decided to rest on a bench.

“What am I doing when I should be cheering for them…”

He was depressed all by himself.

Since it was Golden Week, the crowds were so large that it was difficult to sit on the bench and relax, so he moved to an area where there were fewer people.

When he was about to call his friends to meet up with them there.

Daiki found Wakaba and Shiraishi.

They did not notice Daiki and continued walking to avoid the crowds.

When they were slightly out of the crowd, Daiki saw them.

He saw Shiraishi walking with Wakaba holding her hand.

He had no idea exactly what kind of face they were making, but they were walking hand in hand.

Daiki may have been walking with his hand pulled to get through the crowd by accident, which is always bad timing.

But what Daiki saw was all that mattered.

Daiki just stared without speaking to them.

The two of them went on and disappeared from sight in the crowd.

Not sure how long it had been, but a friend contacted him and they decided to meet up.

Up until that moment, nothing much happened that he remembers.

He looked so pale that his friends were worried about him.

Wakaba and Shiraishi had not been able to join the group yet, but they said they would be able to join soon.

Daiki was getting really sick from playing so many days in a row, so he told everyone that he was not feeling well and that he would go home first.

Everyone said it was better for him to go home because he didn’t look well.

One of his friends said that he was tired and that he wanted to go home too.

He told everyone that he was worried about Daiki by himself, and he felt sorry for him.

Everyone agreed to tell Wakaba and the others, so Daiki and his friends went home together.

He was not feeling well on the way home, but his friend who came home with him walked him home and returned back to his house.

He told him he was sorry, but said not to worry about it.

He promised to buy him a meal next time.

His mother and Tsukasa-san came out.

“Daiki, are you all right?”

He was not okay, so he asked them to carry him to his room on their shoulders and lay down on the bed and went to sleep.
