Chapter 1027 Back in the Sky Empire

Following what little was left of the river after the Earth Immortal from the Blue Sea Empire and the enormous snake demon beast had passed through, Xuan Hao could not help looking behind himself from time to time with a worried expression on his face.

Although he didn't have any interaction with the Earth Immortal from the Blue Sea Empire before leaving and didn't think the other party was going to chase after him, he was still worried that the direction of the battle would start moving in his direction. After all, there was no way that the senior from the Blue Sea Empire would allow the battle to reach the city located further down the river.

Instead, it was far more likely that he would direct the battle towards the borders where there weren't that many people around...

"SSsssss~!"

As if to confirm his suspicions, a loud hissing sound suddenly echoed out behind him before the enormous snake came flying directly towards him.

Is he aiming for me or something!?

Not able to stop himself from quietly crying at the Earth Immortal Realm Expert from the Blue Sea Empire after realizing that the snake demon beast was once again heading directly towards him, Xuan Hao wasted no time in using his movement technique to dodge out of the way-

Once again, only barely managing to avoid the enormous body of the snake demon beast before he rapidly escaped in the direction of the Sky Empire. Not intending to stay behind and give the Earth Immortal from the Blue Sea Empire a chance to accidently throw the demon beast directly at him again-

However, only a few minutes later, Xuan Hao was once again met with the scene of a giant snake demon beast blocking out the sun as it came barreling down towards him from above. Making him begin to seriously question whether or not the Earth Immortal from the Blue Sea Empire was messing with him on purpose.

"Haaa... No mater what it is, I should be fine as long as I leave the Blue Sea Empire..." Muttering this to himself as he dodged the enormous body of the snake demon beast with far more ease compared to the first two times, Xuan Hao looked at the thin line of towers that had appeared in the distance.

After the thirty minutes were up, Xuan Hao did one last sweep of his surroundings with his divine sense before turning around and making his way back into the Sky Empire that was on the other side of the formation towers.

Well... No matter what ended up happening to the snake demon beast, as long as it doesn't end up affecting the Star Shattering Sect, I should be fine...

With this in mind as he chose not to think too much about the fate of the snake demon beast who had ended up going against the Blue Sea Empire, Xuan Hao smoothly made his way back in the direction of the Star Shattering Sect. Doing his best to avoid any dangerous places that might end up delaying his journey back to the sect where he intended to try and increase his cultivation base beyond the Intermediate Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm.

All for the simple goal of having the ability to stand up when faced with terrifying powers like the Blue Sea Empire and the Heavenly Dragon Temple.

Although he doubted that he would be able to intimidate these large powers after reaching the Late Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm, he should at least have grown strong enough that these powers wouldn't regard him as someone that could be messed with for no reason.

Even if the Blue Sea Empire was more than strong enough to deal with someone in the Earth Immortal Realm, it would undoubtedly still be a troublesome and risky thing to do. Especially if they went around offending everyone in the Earth Immortal Realm without being a part of some of the other large powers on the Ewaria Continent... And that was not mentioning the fact that some of these Earth Immortals might be deliberately hiding their true identity in a similar fashion to what he had done when confronted by the border guard.

If the Blue Sea Empire ended up accidentally killing someone important from a similarly large power because of this, it was obvious that they wouldn't be in for a good time hen said power began taking revenge...

BOOM!

Thinking about all of this as he continued making his way back in the direction of the Shattered Star Peaks, Xuan Hao suddenly heard a large commotion taking place not too far away from his current location.

"Hm? What is tha-"

However, the moment he turned to look in the direction of the commotion, he froze on the spot, as he realized that the origin of the commotion was none other than the large snake demon beast whom he had been expecting to fall on him for a fourth time at the border between the Blue Sea Empire and the Sky Empire.

Boom-boom-boom!

Not only that, but it was currently locked in a deadly battle with the expert from the Blue Sea Empire!

The only problem with all of this... Was the fact that the battle was now taking place inside the borders of the Sky Empire...!
