Chapter 140 – Mei is soft
Aiko woke up feeling groggy. Yet the smooth and soft feeling pressed against her cheeks was nice and inviting.
Aiko rubbed her face against those soft pillows.
"Are you finished?" Mei asked, her body stiff.
Aiko stiffened for a moment. She looked up, Mei's blushing expression was on full display. She then looked down at what was that soft feeling.
"Hello~" Aiko greeted those soft pillows before nuzzling into them again.
"Y-you!" Mei blushed furiously.
She grasped Aiko's cheek and pinched it.
"Au." Aiko felt wronged and she glared at Mei.
"Seriously, do you think about anything else other than taking advantage of me?!" Mei glared, but it was a soft glare compared to the angry glare.
Aiko was still a bit groggy and muddle-headed. "I think about pushing you down and tying you up." Aiko blurted out.
Mei blushed like a tomato. "Y-y-you."
Aiko yawned and returned to sleeping on Mei.
Mei was left alone with sleeping Aiko while blushing red and her mind constantly spinning.
...
Aiko woke up again. She still felt tired, but that tiredness came from the poison. She was used to that one.
Aiko yawned and stared at the gazing Mei.
"What?" Aiko lightly blushed, for some reason she was embarrassed when she stared at Mei.
"At least you have some conscience about what you have done." Mei stared at Aiko without blinking.
"W-what?" Aiko looked away. "I will have you know, I have plenty of conscience!" Aiko pouted.
"Uhuh... yet you were blissfully enjoying my body." Mei commented.
Aiko blushed at that comment.
"And rubbed my body." Mei recounted the things Aiko had done.
Aiko blushed even more.
"Even covering my body with-"
"Aaa! Aaa!" Aiko covered Mei's lips.
Mei was satisfied by the embarrassment Aiko displayed and she let her off lightly.
"How are you feeling?" Mei asked softly.
"Tired, but better..." Aiko had a weary smile.
Mei's heart was pained. "You should rest for the time being."
She would spoil her a little bit.
"Okay." Aiko smiled and was about to settle back into Mei's bosom.
"Not there." Mei's brows twitched.
"Tsk." Aiko clicked her tongue since her plan didn't work.
Mei gently pinched Aiko's cheek. "Little rascal." She pecked Aiko's forehead and for some reason, Aiko felt slightly better.
[You have been granted temporary blessing from [Divine Kitsune(Pseudo)]!]
Aiko blinked a few times at the system, but she couldn't really ask about this. She didn't want to pressure Mei, but she also wanted to thank her.
"Thank you..." Aiko nuzzled Mei.
Mei was surprised. 'To think she could spot the strand of Divine Qi I gave her...' Mei was very puzzled, but happy that Aiko didn't reject that energy, as it would help her in recovering her Divine Sense and mind.
Aiko yawned again, but moved to Mei's tails. She would sleep there for a few days.
...
"I'm bored..." Aiko was hugging Mei's waist, trying to plead with her.
...
The team moved from the Grandmaster's abode towards the Shadows Peak. They were all excited about the mission they would take.
The Guard greeted them enthusiastically. He had a bit of a hard time recognizing the Vicious Fox, but he didn't ask why. He knew that some Assassins used Recognition Blocking bracelets, so he assumed that was it.
They went into the Shadows Bulletin Board Hall. There she met the Libra Fox.
He stared at them up and down. "The Recognition Inhibition Bracelets improved greatly." He nodded gently.
Aiko didn't say anything and asked. "Do you have any interesting, yet easy missions?"
The Libra Fox paused. He glanced at the team, he was made aware that the Vicious Cub was poisoned, by none other than the Jade Fox.
He would pick them some easy mission, but if it was a boring mission... 'I don't want to be visited by Jade Fox again, just to get bullied by her... although it wasn't all that bad- Wait no! I don't swing that way!' He shook his head.
"There are none?" Aiko thought that was his answer and she looked sad.
"No, there are, I was just thinking about something." He smiled gently.
"About M-Jade Fox?" Aiko narrowed her eyes.
He choked. "N-no, please come with me." He hurriedly ran behind his table, like the table was some kind of Divine Being that would protect him from all harm.
"What do you have?" Aiko asked.
"The most interesting mission is... the investigation of princesses from the fallen kingdom." The Libra Fox recited the description.
"Princesses from the fallen kingdom?" Aiko tilted her head.
"Yeah, here." He showed Aiko the pictures.
Aiko's eyes widened. "It's them!" She snorted.
"Do you know them?" The Libra Fox was surprised.
"Briefly, they are not good." Aiko shook her head.
"Well, if possible it would be best to just assassinate them all, since they are causing trouble, but that is rather difficult since all of them managed to embed themselves in large empires." He discouraged the Vicious Cub from trying to assassinate them.
Aiko nodded slowly. "We will just gather information." She was not interested in killing as her Ability was restricted, but she could still sneak around and cause trouble to others.
"Very well." He nodded happily and signed this mission under the Vicious Fox's team.
They immediately left the room and went towards the Sect's main gates.
...
"Junior Brother." The Mirage Fox greeted him with cupped hands.
"Senior Brother." The Libra Fox likewise greeted him in a similar fashion, but he was less polite. "What can I do for you?"
"I'm here for the mission about the princesses." He licked his lips. He was looking forward to savouring those princesses before killing them.
"That mission has been taken, Senior Brother." The Libra Fox shook his head. What bad luck befallen the Vicious Cub, now she will have this stalker pursuing her.
"Who took it?" The Mirage Fox narrowed his eyes.
"The new team." He was not allowed to name the team, but he also couldn't refuse this Senior, otherwise his life would get difficult. So he had to placate him with something.
"The odd team with 3 female members, huh." The Mirage Fox licked his lips.
The Libra Fox cursed. This damned Fox only knew how to stalk and take advantage of female foxes.
He would always slip his hand through folds and gaps, using his techniques to take them to the brink, but refusing to take them over the edge until they plead for it themselves.
The Libra Fox vowed to contact the Vicious Cub before she fell under his spell.
Nobody was aware that this would be one of the turning points for this Fox Village, one that would cause great harm to everyone present... except for a certain group of Foxes.
...
Aiko was in front of the Main Gate. The Muscular Fox was reviewing the Mission and all of their Tokens.
"This is the first time I have seen a Demonic Fox be allowed to leave Village without an Elder attending." He smiled, maybe things were changing for the better?
Aiko shrugged. "She is strong, so you should be careful." She tried to tease him.
"Like you?" He teased back and Aiko pouted.
They were unaware that the Blood Fox was staring at them with a dangerous glint in her eyes...
