Aiko was smothered by the worried duo, she didn't mind their worry... but that didn't mean she was not upset by those balloons pressing on her face.
She didn't like that, since it was suffocating her. She could not hear what they were saying, since those cushions dampened their voices.
Aiko slipped away from them, panting heavily. She glared at their bosoms as if they were her mortal enemy.
The duo sighed in relief, it seemed Aiko was back to being Aiko.
"Did he bully you?" The Blood Fox asked in apprehension.
"No, the movement skill made me dizzy." Aiko sighed, she didn't like that type of travel at all...
The duo nodded slowly, but still inspected Aiko for any injuries or anything that could threaten her.
Master..." The Ghost Cultivator felt wronged. Beauties like those two used to flock to him and he could have enjoy every single one of them, but he didn't. He coldly rejected all of them, just so that they would come crawling back again and again...
He was not used to being ignored.
The duo snapped towards him with a pair of piercing gazes and he flinched. It was not as bad as Aiko's normal gaze, but it still stung his Soul.
'As expected of Foxes, they are our nemeses...' He shrunk back.
"I found this guy down there where I fell." Aiko said slowly. "It was not a pleasant experience, so he swore himself to me as slave 1." Aiko smiled innocently, but something in her words just sounded so sinister.
Hearing that underlying sinister context, they didn't ask more about him, but they would still keep their eyes on him, just in case he tried anything funny...
"Master..." The Ghost sobbed.
"What is it?" Aiko was annoyed at this bastard, since she was previously annoyed by those bouncing jellies...
"That guy is dangerous, Master. He is an Inscription Sovereign." Slave 1 said slowly.Cheêck out latest novels at novelhall.com
"Inscription Sovereign?" Aiko tilted her head.
"Yes. That is the highest Inscription Rank one can achieve in the Mortal World..." He said slowly.
Aiko paused for a moment. He was indeed dangerous if it was not for Lady Liu.
"He is also a Rune Cultivator, you should be careful about his hand movements." He warned his Master.
The duo frowned. They liked this strange guy a bit more, since they were badly taken off-guard by the Inscription Saint.
"I agree with him." The Blood Fox said and smiled gently at Aiko.
Aiko nodded slowly. "Fine, but let's rest first." Aiko yawned. She had enough of their yapping and just wanted to rest on a soft tai- bed, soft bed.
But her eyes still stared at Blood Fox's tails.
The Blood Fox swayed them slightly to entice Aiko, but Aiko looked away and left.
The duo giggled and followed her.
...
Aiko immediately plopped onto the bed and yawned again. She slowly closed her eyes and slept peacefully.
The duo was surprised that Aiko didn't go after the Blood Fox's tails, but they didn't dwell on it too much. It would be bad for their mental health if they tried to understand Aiko's antics.
They sat down together. Now that Aiko was back, they were a lot less frantic.
"What do we do now?" The Umbra Fox asked the Blood Fox.
Aiko coughed. "I'm bored, so let's visit Liu Zhi."
Aiko broke that strange atmosphere and the Umbra Fox smiled in relief.
The Blood Fox went into the bathroom to tidy up and Aiko moved closer to the Umbra Fox.
"Don't worry, I won't tell anyone." Aiko gave the Umbra Fox a thumbs up, but Umbra Fox stiffened.
'There is no way she knows, right??' The Umbra Fox's mind rolled in endless imaginations of what might happen if the Jade Fox or Blood Fox figured out what kind of dirty dreams she was having. 'There is no way she knows...' She calmed herself down, but soon jolted. 'But what if she knows?!' Her mind was a complete mess and she didn't know how she should take Aiko's motion.
She sat down and hugged her knees, her wellbeing was truly in Aiko's hands and she would suffer greatly if Aiko said anything wrong. 'Sob, I want a normal master...' From the moment Aiko returned with that cute visage, she couldn't help but imagine how she would look like, when she grew up. From that point on... she had one strange dream after another.
'But it was all about strange toys and nothing else...' The Umbra Fox tilted her head. 'At least let me go all the way! Why do you have to torture me, Mistress!? Sob...' She quietly cried in her mind, but on the outside, she looked like a lost child caught with their hand in the cookie jar.
Aiko giggled at her antics and petted her. "Everything is alright."
The Umbra Fox sniffled. "Mistress..." She felt even worse since she imagined those things...
"We will go and greet Liu Zhi soon, you should tidy up." Aiko gently pushed the Umbra Fox into the vacant bathroom.
The Blood Fox looked at them strangely. "What happened?"
"Nothing much, for the first time in a long time she wants to play the lazy one." Aiko lied without batting an eye.
"Oh..." The Blood Fox swallowed that lie easily, since it was hard to get the Umbra Fox into the bed, but easy to make her sleep. She didn't suspect anything since everything lined up well.
"Should I do your hair?" The Blood Fox asked gently. Not wanting to be abandoned by Aiko, she would play the role of the ever-loyal maid, so that she can be next to Aiko.
'Forever and ever~'
"If you don't mind." Aiko smiled gently. She liked this tender side of Blood Fox. The side that didn't mercilessly pound her enemies into a ground or bloody pulp.
"You will need some knuckles..." Aiko suddenly thought. "Or gauntlet." She tilted her head. Knuckles were easily stored and equipped, while gauntlets were heavy and burdensome to wear, but fully protected the whole hand with a part of the forearm.
The Blood Fox tilted her head cutely. It seemed like she had never heard about knuckles.
Aiko slowly explained while she was tended by and the Blood Fox nodded slowly. "That indeed sounds like the best option for me..." She liked the ease of use and versatility.
Aiko nodded, she also thought, but the gauntlets were also not bad...
She would buy some later so that the Blood Fox could test it out and make up her mind about her weapon of choice.
"I wonder what kind of weapon the Umbra Fox will have..." Aiko swung her legs.
"A whip?" The Blood Fox tilted her head.
Aiko blushed when she imagined the Umbra Fox wielding a whip. "I don't think that is a good idea..." Aiko thought seriously, but she was not aware that the Blood Fox looked at her with a strange glint in her eyes.
"Now that you say it..." Aiko tilted her head. "I'm not sure what kind of weapon would fit her... and throwing weapons doesn't really count..." Aiko scrunched her face. She didn't know what she should imagine as a weapon for that sneaky Fox.
Aiko soon gave up on thinking about it as the Umbra Fox returned from the bathroom.
She was tidied up and in the Assassination Uniform.
The Umbra Fox had the newer version, since she was part of Aiko's team.
"Great craftsmanship." Aiko praised that Tailor guy's attention to detail.
"It is much better than the previous Assassination Uniform." The Umbra Fox nodded in acknowledgement.
"Well, is everyone ready?" Aiko looked over at her team and softly asked.
"En."
"Yes, Mistress."
They both nodded gently. Aiko smiled and opened the door, their destination was towards Liu Zhi's room!
