All the assassins coughed up blood and collapsed on the ground. All of them were connected to the Grand Array Formation, which meant since the Grand Array Formation didn't activate properly, they received backlash.ally it wouldn't end up so badly, but since this Grand Array Formation was simply too big, it directly claimed their lives.

One Beast angrily growled, but the moment he did so, he was blasted by Chen Shi.

Runes circled around him. Runic Cultivator! The Human Cultivators gulped hard, this was the legendary Runic Cultivator!

The blasted Beasts coughed up blood, not really surprising since half its body was shredded to pieces.

"What? You want to fight." Chen Shi joined his hands and supported his nose. "Go ahead, we can play." More and more Runes released their pressure, pretty much paralysing the Beasts.

The Human Cultivator's eyes widened. They were left speechless that someone could stun Beasts in this way. This was way easier and safer than using the Berserker Powder!

They made a mental note, that they should learn more about Inscriptions and Runes so that they can hunt Beast more easily.

Little did they know that they were just too stupid to learn this kind of skill...

Aiko stared at them, the injured Beast still stared at her with open hostility.

She couldn't understand why...

"Yo, you big bastard." One familiar panther greeted the Lion with a snake tail.

"Hoho~ you finally show yourself." The Lion stood up menacingly and they approached each other, one on four legs while the other on two.

"You still walk on two legs like those bastard Humans?" The Black Panther said cringing.

"You still don't know when to bow your head in front of someone stronger?" The Lion said menacingly.

"Heh, who is stronger here?" The Panther snorted sarcastically.

The Human Cultivators were upset, but they couldn't stir up trouble since they were vastly outnumbered by powerful Beasts.

"Look to the right." The Lion said with a mean smile.

The Black Panther looked to his right, but didn't see anything.

"My right you stupid bastard!" The Lion scoffed at him.

"Who are you calling stupid you muscle-headed cun-" The Panther cursed him and while doing so, he turned left to see who was stronger.

His eyes trained on a little Fox and his mouth stopped. There was something just so familiar about this little Fox.

The Lion scoffed again. "Seriously, because of you, she thinks I'm also a bully!"

*Ptooey*

He spat out disdainfully.

Unfortunately, the Smelly Panther was as smart as he smelled, so he despised the Elders for giving him that name! He would never forgive them!

Aiko finished the meat as the final clean-ups happened.

The Emperor was sweating buckets as this was the second time the banquet was interrupted in a way that could endanger his whole Empire.

He wiped his sweat, but he felt like he aged a few years from this whole event.

"Anyway, we will escort you back later on, did you finish the negotiations?" The Black Panther asked the Lion.

"Not yet, there are a few things we need to flesh out more, but let's do that another way, this place still smells." Lion pinched his sensitive nose.

"It's not from this place." The Black Panther said and briefly glanced at a certain Smelly Panther.

"Right..." The Lion sighed, he completely forgot about this guy. "Let's continue this another day when things... vent out."

The Emperor nodded weakly, now that all the pressure and worry was mostly dissipated, he could finally take in that awful smell.

The group disbanded and they returned to their respective palaces for rest...

Aiko sat down with a slightly bloated stomach, she finally had enough and her Beast Core purity didn't even drop! That meant that the Emperor actually cared about their well-being and wasn't just putting up air.

'Maybe that cold slab was also made for Beasts to cool down?' Aiko tilted her head, she no longer saw the Emperor as negatively as before.

'Well, whatever.' Aiko shrugged, it was not like she would spend that much time here, but it also didn't feel bad.

Lady Liu placed Aiko on her lap with a brush in her hand. She cleaned Aiko's messy hair after that fight.

She liked to do this since Aiko's hair was simply divine. Soft and silky smooth, it is a joy to take care of. It also wasn't all that long which meant it didn't burden her to brush Aiko's hair.

"What do we do next?" Aiko asked Chen Shi, who was sitting nearby and sipping tea with an unsightly face.

Aiko's ears perked up, while she was not interested in the Prince, she was very much interested in the Royal Garden. She wondered if it would be the same mess as that banquet hall and main Palace or if it would be a graceful and magnificent place full of learning material.

Aiko's ears twitched, but her team grimaced. They noticed the Prince glancing at Aiko quite often and they didn't like his smiling and kind expression!

They stared at each other, but before they could discuss it with Aiko.

"Sure, but say that I will bring others with me." Aiko didn't use any etiquette, since she was mostly tired, but also...

She was attacked on his grounds, so she didn't hold as much respect towards the Royal Family as before.

The royal maid bowed and disappeared...
