Control and possible profit
Both Miach and Naaza looked intrigued by the idea.
"A potion that removes or suppresses ones odors until they bath? At first glance this appears to be a frivolous and pointless thing but I remember smelling foul after returning from the dungeon so I can see the appeal." Naaza said seriously and Miach nodded in agreement.
"We would need to do some experimenting but I believe your idea should be achievable within a month." Miach said seriously.
"That'll do perfectly. Make as much as you can and store it away and once you have enough for a few hundred people at minimum let one of us know so we can start advertising it." I said seriously.
"A-a few hundred!? It's not possible that so many would want it is it?" Miach exclaimed in shock.
I chuckled "You seem to heavily underestimate just how much an adventurer reeks after a long day delving. Besides a few nutjobs with some screws loose the adventurers that put up with the stench only do so because they have no choice but to do so. We change that and I am almost willing to bet my left arm that you'll see more business in a single day than you have in years." I said with a grin.
By the time Hestia came back my block of wood looked like some eldritch creature had gotten a hold of it, it sucked. Then again I had literally just started learning how to carve and was not using the best possible tool for this sort of thing. 'I should really get a knife for this kind of thing. Maybe I can make one if I get lucky and get some goblin teeth.' I thought as I wolfed down three of the fried potato things with ham that Hestia brought back for us.
"Hey hestia do you know any butchers in the city, specifically the sort that might have bones they have no use for?" I asked having a really good idea suddenly.
"Hmm, I think theres one a bit down the street from my stall why?" she asked curiously after swallowing her bite of food.
"If I can get some bones I can use my cursed technique to refine and shape them into stuff you can sell. Things like bone chimes, rings, necklaces and bracelets. You can definitely sell them for a decent bit on top of your jagamarukuns. The best part is if anyone asked how they were made you can be honest and say a spell did it." I said with a grin.
Her face brightened as she smiled "That might work! I'll try and convince the butcher to let me have some bones tomorrow! It doesn't matter what condition they are in right?" she asked and I shook my head.
After we finished eating we went to bed eager for the next day since if everything worked out we could improve our financial situation some with the sale of these bone items. I didn't even want her to sell them for a whole lot of money either since they would likely come from free bones anyways and I was more than happy for the practice with my technique. Obvious the better quality ones with more details and nicer appearance would be sold for more money but I doubted many would buy the stuff as anything more than a nifty trinket. I spent the next day the same as I spent the previous and made a small amount of progress with my cursed energy control. When Hestia got back she had an extra bag that was filled with broken bone pieces that looked as though someone had taken a hammer to them.
