Along the way, he saw a lot of flies in the bushes behind the house. The backyard consisted of a hedgerow that separated the yard from the public road outside and a lawn that hadnt been mowed in a long time. The lawn was now full of weeds and flies.

He hardly ever went to the back of the house because he had to pass through an indoor swimming pool to get there. The pool was all moldy and hadnt been cleaned in a while. Now that he had walked around from the outside, he was surprised to find that the backyard was so dirty.

He walked onto the lawn, turned on his phones flashlight, and saw piles and piles of cat bones and rotting cat carcasses. They were all street cats from the surrounding neighborhood, and they were scattered in the bushes.
