Chapter 1 - A Runaway.

"Luna!"

Startled, a woman who is known as 'goddess' in the office turns her head to the voice who just called her name. She squinting her eyes, trying to focus on the person. "What's up Di?" She asked with the same tone voice as him.

"I forgot to tell you that your group will be exchanged with mine. The boss says that the group specifically asked for you, so here is the tourist personal information." He said while diverting his eyes back to his computer screen and tap the button enter.

Ding! A new email pop out at Luna's computer screen. She frowned when Diaz says that the tourist in the group requested her to be the guide. Is it one of the tourist from the other group before or someone she knew? A friend from another friend?

Shake her head, she opens the details that Diaz sends to her through the email. She scanned for the name list on the screen one by one. Her eyes then stopped at one familiar name.

This time, her heart starts beating faster than it should. Her face loses its color and it almost the same color as the paper on her desk. Her finger starts to trembling and her eyes start to teary a bit when she starts to reminiscing the old story between her and the person on the name list.

"Why now? Why?" She murmured and her tears start to flow down her cheek like a broken dam.

"Luna? Are you alright?" Sherry, her colleague who happens to pass by her table saw that her face was clearly wet with the tears. She's pretty shocked to see a happy go lucky girl in this office would cry and look so heartbroken like that. What happened? Why she suddenly crying like that?

Flinched, she immediately wipes her tears from flowing down. But however she wipes it, it seems like her tears wouldn't stop anytime soon. Her crying becomes harder and a few colleagues try to console her.

And it resulting the boss give her a special leave for today. When she left the office, she could see most of her colleague has a mixed expression looking at her. Maybe they wonder what makes her sad like that.

The name on the list is 'Raymond Wayne'. The man whom she loves so much in the past. She never thought that they would meet again. Not in this country, not in this situation and it makes her so scared that he would..he would take what she loves the most this time.

He already took everything from her and left her with only broken-hearted and now..what else that he wants from her? Her lives? No..she would never let it happen again.

Not this time. She would make sure everything will be sealed form him. He can't know that she has a precious gift that she cares about after he dumped her. He can't know about his existence. This trip, she would pretend like nothing happens after he dumped her.

'It's only for a week. Yup. I can be a stone for a week. I have to call Nana! Yes, that's it.'

She fishing her phone from her handbag and start dialing her friend's number. Nana. After a few rings, she finally picks up the phone.

"Hello, Nana?"

"Luna, hey... what's the matter?" She sounds happy from the other side.

"Uh- I know this is quite sudden, but I need your help. Can you please help me, babe?" Luna tries to control her voice so that it sounds less hoarse and suspicious from Nana on the other side of the town.

She slicks her hair backward while looking at the outside of the train she took now, heading to her home after got send away by her boss from her workplace. The city still brimming with the sunlight and the weather seems nice today. If only her heart was this nice, like the weather today.

"Huh? Sure."

Hearing that Nana is willing to help her makes her heart at least relief for a bit. "Tomorrow, you're going to go back to your parents' house, right?" She starts to sort out her plan.

"Yeah. For about two weeks."

"Great! Umm..can you also bring him with you, Nana?" Luna uses her slow, alluring voice. She knows Nana is weak with that kind of voice and she also had no choice right now. All she ever wanted is that man can never know about his existence.

"Sure, honey. I gonna pick him up tomorrow morning, okay?" Nana give her reply and ended the call.

Sighing in relief, she finally could breathe for a moment before she averts her eyes toward the crowd inside the train. She wonders, today's is Friday, why there are so many people here in the mid-day? Aren't they supposed to be at their workplace?

'Next station is Jurong east.' the commuters sounds bring Luna back to reality. She then takes off the train and walks to her home. It's not too far from the station. Only ten minutes walk from the station. The neighborhood here is safe and the security in this area also a top-notch too. Different from her origin country.

She's not from here, and she's currently is a runaway from her real life. Far from her country and her prison house. It's been five years since she 'run away' or precisely 'dumped' by that man. She still holds status and hangs that man without any resolution from both parties.

She put her handbag on the floor and she slumped on the couch after that. Her house sounds so quiet and it feels weird. This setting makes her start to reminiscing the past again. A story that she already buried deep down inside her heart and sealed it from anyone.
