Chapter 16 - Adorable and Horrible

"Um, Corrie," She called out the maid's name who clean up the mess in her room.

"Yes, Ma'am?" the girl lifts up her face to look at the Mistress who still on the bed. She looks a bit calm from before. When she entered the room, the mistress is still crying on her bed.

"Can you find the same vase like that?"

"Uh...I think there is one in the living hall." The girl squinting her eyes, try to remember the design of that vase.

"Then, please change it with that vase. Thank you."

"Right away, ma'am." The maid said and she continues to clean up the rest of the mess.

Luna still trembling a bit from what just happened earlier. What is wrong with that man? Why did he look so frightening? What did she do to make him despise her so much?

At the daytime, Raymond is so kind and tender. He's like an angel who wanted to be loved, but at night Raymond looks like he is a devil that wanted to be hated for the rest of his life.

'How's that possible to slow talk with him, if he only knows to hurt me? He's not the type who can be slow talk with!'

Raymond took the document that Mr. Carson left on the edge of the bed and read the content.

He read the rules, to divorce that woman, she has to give him a child? He smirks at the ridiculous rules and then moves to the last one, they need to sleep together in the same room?

He sighs. Why did his grandmother decide on something like this? This is too ridiculous. He then pulls the nightstand drawer and took out his cell phone, turn it on and scrolling the screen.

Once he saw the name 'Sarah', he taps on button 'call'. He waits and waits but, there's no one pick it up the call. He then tries again. Same as before, she did not pick up to his phone call.

Its been months since last he hears her voice, he missed her so much. This silent treatment drives him crazy and he almost turns into a killer when he tries to strangle 'his' wife.

"How long do you plan on using my body, huh? I hate you for cause me such trouble like this." He murmurs to his other self as he can hear him. The real him know about his own condition, but there's nothing he can do to stop that kid from taking over his body. It is something that he can't control it.

He then put the document on the nightstand and try to close his eyes. His body feels so tired. Every day, he only can occupy his own mind and body for a short time. That's makes him more irritated with the kid who occupied his body more longer than him.

When he tries to sleep, a glimpse of Luna's face pop up in his mind, her tearful face makes his heart stung. He then opens his eyes back and touches his chest, as it hurt him, burn him with the unknown feeling.

"Dammit, what's the matter with you?" he grunts.

The glimpse of the bruised on her neck stung his heart again, this time, there is urge feeling that he want to cry. He clenches on his chest while holding the tears from flowing down.

"Dammit, you kid! don't interfere with my body and mind, you fucker!" He cursed the other him.

He then took a tablet of his emergency medicine and drink a glass of water before he curled up on the bed. Hoping that there's no other glimpse that will pop up in his mind.

He notices something tonight, the kid's mind trying to stop him from hurting 'his' wife. It's like a double-edged weapon, if he hurt her, it will also hurt him in the end.

Two weeks have passed.

Everyday Luna spent her times playing and teaching something to the 'day' Raymond, while at night, they sleep in a different room.

Doctor Fang help her by creating a 'recuperation period' reason to Madam Victoria. And today, she needs to face the 'night' Raymond again. She wonders, for how long that she can hold on with this marriage if the 'night' Raymond keep torturing her.

Sighing, she looks at the 'day' Raymond who happily doing some coloring activities with her at the living hall. He is unexpectedly quite skilled in coloring, not like autism kid at all. 'Oh, wait. He's not.'

"Darling, l-look at this." Raymond shows her his artwork. By this time, his stuttering has improved a bit. He can call her 'darling' without much stuttered like before. He always looks so bright in the morning until he falls asleep at night. He always looks so happy since the day she marries him.

Looking at the drawing sheet, Luna smiling. "Nicely done, dear." She then pats on his head before she examines again the drawing.

It full of flowering design at the sides of the paper and at the center of it, there's a 'couple' picture. Somehow, the picture of the couple looks a bit similar to both of them.

Want to be sure of it, she asks him right away. "Who is the person in the picture? They look similar to us."

Raymond sheepishly smiles and he turns his body around, facing the other way to hide his fluttering heart. "I-it's us."

"Oh?" She tilted her head and look at the side of him. Yup, he is truly adorable at day and horrible at night.

He nods his head hard.

"I thought last time you say you don't like me?" She wants to tease him by saying what he says at the night of their first night.

"N-no..I-I like you now." Raymond looks at her face with a seriousness in his voice. His shining eyes could make a person go blind.

"Then.." Luna closes the gap between her face and him, she teasingly wants to kiss him on the cheek. Well, another reason she wants to kiss him is that he's too cute with his face who looks like he wants to be loved by her.

Blushing, Raymond lowered his gaze to the floor. "W-what are y-you doing?"

"The saying says, if you like someone, you should express your feeling. So, how do you plan to show your like to me?" She giggles a bit seeing his troubled face. Their gap is only 10cm away with each other.

"Y-you mean…K-kissing?"

"Mhm.." Luna nod her head.

Raymond couldn't handle it anymore. He then immediately stands up and says "Darling, y-you're sly!" and run away from the living hall.
