Chapter 51 - Story Of The Moon And The Sun

The third day of the tour,

Garden by the bay.

Raymond taps on Luna's shoulder from behind, just after she finishes give the group instruction. Not wanting to surprise her like yesterday.

"Miss Luna." He calls her name softly, trying to approach her today as well.

Until today he still couldn't find anything about her that proves him if she is his Luna. All he got is his instinct and not much information he can extract from his source too.

It's like her identity is been hidden by a certain someone. With a lack of information, he can only identify her with his blurry memory of her. He has met many people named Luna in various countries, but none of them give him the goosebump feeling as she did.

Luna turns around when someone taps on her shoulder gently. Looking at the guy, "Yes, Mister Ray?" She asked, showing indifferent expression.

"Um, I'm alone today too..so, can you accompany me?" He bluntly asked her, he intends to have more time with her, knowing more about her.

Luna opens her mouth, but no word comes out before she averts her eyes and looks behind the man. She thought she wants to ask one person from the group to invite this man, but, none of them is near them right now. They already split with their own group and pair.

"Are you feel trouble with my request?" He stares her green eyes which captivated him from the day he saw her. It never got bored looking at the pair of her beautiful eyes.

"No no, sorry. I just thought there are other people from the group, but it seems like they're so excited about exploring this place, hm?" Luna smiles a little before she tied up her hair into a ponytail.

Raymond watches every little thing she does. How this woman is always attractive in his eyes? He keeps wondering why he can't get off his eyes from this woman.

"Let's go. I give you a tour inside." Luna leads the way and like always, he followed her, side by side.

While they're going from the cloud forest until the flower dome, they talked about so many things besides personal matters. It surprisingly that Raymond knows a quite lot about flowers and plants inside this place. He really knowledgeable and somehow it feels funs talking casually like this with him, just like six years ago.

They stopped at one corner where there's a bunch of sunflowers planted there. Raymond suddenly walked there and stare at the flower with a soft gaze which makes Luna scrunch her eyebrow a bit.

Slowly, Luna stands beside him looking at the sunflower without saying any word.

"Do you know, my wife loves this flower," Raymond speaks from his heart. This feels nostalgic for both of them.

Luna did not turn to him, she suppresses her feeling and smiles faintly. "So, you're married?"

"Yeah. Six years ago."

"Hm, why didn't you bring your wife on this trip?" Luna pretendedly asks those questions even though she knew the answer is.

"I wish that I can." He smiles and continues again. "I made a garden consist of this flower, back at my home. Each time I see this flower, it reminds me of her."

Luna scrunches her eyebrow a bit. Which part that this flower that resembles her?

"Hm? Why's that?"

"My wife is like a moon..and this flower is like a sun. Have you heard about the story of Moon and Sun?" He asked.

Luna shakes her head before Raymond said again. "Hm. I'd tell you the story now. The story's about how the moon loves the sun, even though the two never met at the same time, they still love each other every day, longing for each other and eventually, the god decides to let them meet at the same time and blessing their love and sacrifice. Even it takes them years to finally meet and unite. It's a symbol of proof there's nothing such as 'impossible love'."

"Huh?" Luna blinks her eyes a few times. Not understand his story at all.

Chuckles, he starts to walk again. "Do you know what your name means, Miss Luna?"

Luna follows him from behind while trying to remembering her name's meaning. "Moon?"

"That's right. Moon." He glances over her, "That's my wife's name. Moon."

Luna's heart pounded. She averts her eyes when she feels like her face turning a little red.

"And I'm the Sun. So, the moon will meet again with the sun even if right now we're separated by the unavoidable course, but eventually, we'll meet again by destiny. We're bound by the red string."

Luna did not reply anything to him as she keeps her pace at one step behind him. It feels a bit suffocate to stand beside him right now, she might burst into tears if she looks into his eyes right now.

When they exited the flower dome, Luna immediately excusing herself to the restroom while Raymond buys something from the gift shop.

In the next destination, Raymond did not walk with her as the other group from the tour group already invite her to join them. He saw how cheerful she is. Taking a photo, chatting with them, laughing with the group, she really is different from Luna six years ago.

She has changed. But, she's more cheerful than the one he met five years ago.

"Alright, tomorrow will be our last day touring, so, rest well and have a good night. I'll see you guys tomorrow at the same time. That's all. Thank you." Luna smile and give a signal to uncle Abu to open the bus door.

Once the bus door opens, Luna steps down and giving each of them the itinerary for tomorrow's schedule. A few of them thanked her and compliment her work as a tour guide.

Until the last person steps down, Luna passes the last paper to him. "Goodnight."

When she wants to step back inside the bus, he grabs her hand, stopping her.

"I have something for you." Raymond looked at her.

Luna frowned and says, "It's okay Mister Ray...I don't take-"

"I insist." He takes out a stuffed sunflower he bought at the souvenir shop when they're at the Garden by the bay mall this afternoon.

Luna startled to see the stuffed sunflower he give her. "But-"

Raymond reaches her other hand and placed the stuffed sunflower on her palm before he pushes her hand softly. "It's for you. Goodnight, Miss Luna." he went to the lobby once he's done said that.

Dumbfounded, Luna froze until uncle Abu clearing his throat a little. "Ahem..are you okay, Luna?"

Back to earth, Luna looked at uncle Abu. "Uh…yeah, yeah. I'm sorry."

"He's not bad at wooing a girl." He chuckles and closes the door after Luna sits down on the front seat and drove the bus from the hotel.
