Chapter 53 - Find New Love

Alex and Lily run to Luna as she squatted down and hug them both tightly.

"Baby! I miss you both so much! So, did you two behave while you're gone?" She caresses on their back of the head gently.

"Of course we are!" They say in unison before they break the hug and Brian walks to the entrance corridor. Folding his hand on his chest, he leaned on the wall, smiling to her.

"Welcome back, Mama. Dinner is ready. Hurry and shower before we dine together." He then extended his hand to both of the children before Luna stand up again.

"What did you cook for today?" She asked.

"Your favorite food. But, I don't know if the taste suite yours or not. The kids insist to cook for you today."

"Oh..I guess, it'd be fine and edible." She giggling a little and went to the staircase next to the entrance corridor.

"I'll be down in a minute, you both…" she looks at the two of the kids with a loving gaze. "Help daddy to prepare the table."

"Okay."

"Roger, ma'am."

Back at the hotel where's Raymond staying,

Knock! Knock!

"Come in." Raymond gives his permission and puts down his whiskey glass on the table, averting his eyes to the door's direction.

One of his bodyguards enter the room and standing straight near the closed door. "Sir, we have retrieved the information you've asked this afternoon."

"Hm, put it down there." He glances at the table beside the man.

After his man put the envelope on the table, he immediately takes his leave and closes the door. Judging by his boss's mood, he probably not in a good mood.

Raymond walks to the table once the door is closed and he went back to the luxury sofa, sits down and chugged another glass of whiskey.

He slowly opens the envelop and read the details on it. It contains Luna's address, friend and acquaintance in this country. Everything seems normal to him, no missing data or anything that he can relate to Luna Wayne.

He also looked at the record of her hospitalization four years ago. She admitted to the hospital for delivering a baby. The record shows she's not married and have stayed here for a few months for the routine check-up before she gave birth.

On her immigration record also states that she's from Seattle. Born and raised there until she graduates from Standford University. She's pregnant and moves to Singapore to build a new life.

He can't find any picture of her with a man who she called 'boyfriend' during these four years in Singapore. All of her friends are merely an office friend or tour guide from a neighboring country.

Raymond sighs. He then took another document from the envelope.

Information regarding 'Jebat Samza a.k.a Sam.' A friend he meets on the very first day of tour at the Universal Studios theme park.

Married, has one daughter and incoming for the next child in few more months. His spouse is Umi Mariana, a Malaysian citizen. They are currently staying in Malaysia but worked in Singapore.

Raymond checks on his credit information. He staring at the transaction made by Luna Arista on his bank statement and raises his eyebrow for a moment.

"Hmm..interesting." He smiled and chuckled. "Well, I guess, we'll meet again this time too."

He took out the phone and dialing on someone's phone number.

"Mmmm…delicious." Luna squinted her eyes while sipping the soup they make today.

"Really??" Lily looked at her with her big eyes, shine like a star.

"Yes, dear." Luna pats her hair and continues to eat the next dishes. "This one also delicious. Who made this one?"

Alex immediately raises up his hand, his smile on his face looked so proud, which makes Luna and Brian laugh a bit.

"You're so skilled." Luna praises him and tastes the next dishes, she bet this one is made by Brian. She smiled at Brian and taste the dishes.

"Well, not bad." She commenting on the taste. It was actually delicious as the other two serving, but, to not make the children feel inferior with their daddy, she said it's not bad.

"I lost." Brian plays along as he bows his head to the children. "Congratulations my children. You are now the new 'master chef' in our little family."

All of them clap their hands and start their peaceful dinner together. This is how their normal day when Brian is around, if not, it just the three of them having dinner and watch movies together after that or she would help the children to do their homework.

Brian only comes when he had a long break from work and he only left Luna's house after the kid asleep and coming back at dawn, sending the kids to kindergarten in the morning.

Luna wants to prepare the bedroom for him to stay the night, but he rejects it. He said that it was safer that way and Luna also did not force him more than that. One day, they surely will tell the children about their circumstances and their relationship.

That's…if Brian did not make any move on her. And if one day Brian did make a move on her, she probably will say it as a 'yes'. She wants to forget that man badly and find new love.

She needs a man who can mend her broken heart, and the only man who she saw had a quality to do so is none other than Brian.

But, even she says that…both of them knew, they don't want to let go of the past. They both still haunted by a past memory.

One is a broken-hearted, while another one is drowning with anxiety and fear. They only have each other to rely on. For the safety and for the children's well being.
