Chapter 55 - I'm Alex.

"Oh my god.." Luna murmur when she saw someone she knew standing right beside Sam who's face pale like a ghost.

Turn his head around, Brian look at the woman beside him. "What is it?" Luna looks all antsy once she's murmuring that. She starts sweating and a bit pale.

"Um.." She tugs her small hand to Brian's arm and he leaning close to her. Ready to hear her out. "Remember 'that guy' I told you before?" She whispering to him, hoping that the kids didn't hear their conversation.

Brian scrunch his eyebrow a bit. "Uh-huh.." He nodded when he remember the detail of her story a few years before.

Looking at his face, she said, "That's him. I think he follows me here." She uttered with a very low voice.

Brian lifts his eyebrow, shocked with the statement she just told him. Only for a few seconds, he silent and after that, he smiles at her. "It's alright. I'm here to protect you." he caresses her hair to ensure her that no one can harm her and Alex when he's around. Not even that man.

Luna sigh. Worry and scare shown on her face make Alex turn her head away to the side of the car. He then smirked a bit.

"Let's go," Brian said and ready to open the car door, but then Luna still tugging her hand on his jacket.

"Hey…" Brian smiles a bit, looking at her scared face.

Looked up at him, she slowly shakes her head.

"Luna…you're not in your working hour, right? So, act normal. I've got your back. We're not in a war zone, right now. Everything will be alright. Trust me." with that being said, Luna releases her hand from Brian's jacket.

He's right. They are now not in the 'war zone' where she should wear armor. The true enemies aren't here, either. If she continues to act as another person, the other parties wouldn't have known about her identity too. Besides, she's now with Brian and lily.

Brian also had a dark brown hair color, the same as Lily. So, no one will suspect them is not an actual family. They..look exactly like a perfect, happy, harmony family.

With this, Raymond probably will give up the idea of she is the Luna Wayne, his lawful wife who still alive but declared death five years ago. He will continue his life and married that girl he loves so much without being burden by her presence.

Unbuckle the seat belt, she then follows Brian out of the car, with the kids after that.

Raymond stared at the man who gets off the car after the driver opened the car door for him.

Once he saw the man, he lifts up his eyebrow a bit. Not predicting this would happen. Not in a million times he thought of these probabilities.

"Mr. Lawrence," Raymond utter one word to which Brian smirked at him annoyedly.

"Mr. Wayne." He extended his hand to the man.

Took his hand, they shook it pretty intense with a death gaze from both parties.

"Uh…you both know each other?" Sam breaks the intense gaze from both guys who made a godly good appearance. Both of them are quite handsome.

Looking at Sam, both of them glared at him, "Yes, we were basically, a long nemesis in the business world... right, President of L Corporation? Benedict Lawrence."

"What?" Luna who just got out from the car were shocked to hear the statement that Raymond just utter, which makes Brian's expression turn dark.

"I don't like people to address my identity out lout like this, Mr. Wayne. Don't stick your nose in my business." He then went to Luna and hold both of her small hands.

"Sorry, I didn't tell you about my real identity. I really am sorry." Brian looks like he was really sorry.

"Why you never said a thing to me? I thought you're working at the ambassador office. And Benedict?" She talks with a tone above a whisper, enough for only two of them to hear.

"I.." Brian stopped and sigh a bit. "I want to protect you and the children. My identity is a curse to me. So please, I'll explain once we returned."

Luna abruptly hugs him. "Promise me, you'll tell me all about it." She whispers to him.

Seeing the couple hugging each other makes Raymond irked. "Tch!" he clicked tongue and look away.

That is when he saw a little boy staring right at him. He raises his eyebrow. "Who are you?" He asked this little boy who look a bit familiar. 'Where did I saw him?', he thought.

Smiling, Alex opens his hand widely. Hoping that the man will bend down and hug him so that he can relay a hidden message to the man.

"I'm Alex." He smiles cutely.

Raymond scratches his head a little when the kid still opens his arm widely. Without realizing, he bends down and hugs him a little.

"Took you so long..jerk!" Alex whispers to him and Raymond instantly froze with what that kid just say to him.

Pat on the man's back, Alex then runs back to his mother's side. Leaving Raymond with a full of a question in his mind. 'I think I've seen that kid, somewhere before, where is it? Who is he?'

"Lily," Alex pulls Lily's arm and stand far away from their parents.

"What?" Lily smack his hand from grabbing her arm.

"Did you bring it?" Alex stares at her intensely.

"Duh…who do you think I am? I always prepared." Lily rolled her eyes to her brother.

"Good, so I need your help."

"Hm?" Lily tilted her head a little.

"That man…is my papa." He looks all serious when he talks to her.

Chuckles, Lily pat on his shoulder. "Duh,…he looks like you. Of course, he's your papa..but, my daddy is with your mama-"

"No..I don't really care about who's my mama will choose. I just want to know, why? Got it. So, I need your help to extract the truth." Alex cut her word before she could even finish her sentences.

"Fine. You owe me. As a payment, do all my chores and homework for a half year." Lily folds her arm around her chest.
