While humming an unknown sound, Lily's finger dance on the screen on the iPad swiftly. Within less than five minutes, she able to crack the code, retrieve the hidden information and able to hide the IP address so that they will not be located.
She then transfers the information file into one of her cloud file which she design to have the toughest wall to break-in.
"Done." She passes back the iPad to Alex and continues to put on her earphones while resuming watching her cartoon series. She glances over to her father and saw that he currently conducting his business's matter from his phone, judging by the crease form on his forehead.
She shakes her head a little. 'Hmm…even though he said he takes a long vacation for family times.'
She then glances at the man seating at the front seat, again, she shakes her head. 'All grown-up man is useless.'
Raymond also conducting his business through his phone. But then he frowned a bit. He looked a bit serious than before.
'Ah, …he noticed his information has been stolen, huh? Well, sorry uncle. Your son is the culprit.'
Alex did not open the file that Lily has retrieved, instead, he opens his fake Instagram account and check on the man's account. Well, he needs to know why his parents separate like this and his mother acts like she doesn't even know this man at all.
He always wonders what kind of man his father is. Why did he was born like this? He knew he was a little bit different than any other kids. Unexpectedly, Lily also posses a 'gift' like him. They're genius. So, it's easy to talk to Lily and do business with her other than 'slower' kids in their ages.
She's his milk sister. His mother breastfeeding Lily and him when they were babies. Thus, they're milk relatives. Or that's what they called in this country.
While browsing the accounts, he looks at one of the pictures that is posted five years ago. It was a picture of a sunflower garden with a tag 'You're my sunshine.'
Alex feels like he wants to vomit. 'Urgh..so lame.' He glances over the man and unexpectedly, he also glance over to him.
They both then turn their heads around. "Tch." Clicking their tongue in sync.
….
At the front seat.
"Mm...Miss Luna,"
"Just Luna, Jay..we're about the same age, after all," Said Luna.
"Well, yup." He nodded his head. "I was a bit surprised to hear that you were just twenty-three, a one-year-old below me.."
"Hmm, why? Because I have a child?" Luna takes a guess. People often look at her twice when she says she just twenty-three and had a kid which is four-year-old. Is it sinful to have a kid at a young age?
Squinted his eyes a bit, he tilted his head. "No..don't get me wrong, in here, twenty-three, having kids with aged four, five, even six years old is normal, you know."
"Really?" She looked at him, a bit interested by what she hears. it was different when people in the same country as she looked at her.
"Yes. But what's surprising me is..you look nothing like twenty-three. I mean, you're…" He takes a peek at the back mirror.
Two men at the back glare at him, waiting for his next word. Gulped a bit, he shakes his head. "Nevermind, forget what I said earlier."
Luna frowned and chuckled a bit. "Come on. That makes me more curious to know."
"You're too…beautiful." He said is fast with a low voice. Hoping that the two-man sitting at the backseat behind did not get the wrong idea. It's not like he flirting with her, it was true that Luna is too beautiful.
Laughing, Luna scratches her head a little. "I used to get compliments all the time before. It's not weird though, everyone can be beautiful if they get the right way to do it. You know there's a thousand products you can use."
Jamal peek again at the back mirror before he exhales in relief, seems like both of that man already calm down and ignoring them.
"Hm, I agree. Your ex-husband must be quite handsome since you're so beautiful like this." He unintentionally said that.
But after a second he said that, once again, he gasped and slap his mouth.
"Oh…I'm so sorry...I didn't mean to pry into your business. I-"
"Nevermind." Luna touches a button to roll up the partition window. She knew Jamal was probably scared of the murderous glare from the man at the backseat.
One, because of Jamal's unintentionally word, and the other one probably because he states him as an 'Ex' while they didn't properly divorce yet.
Jamal stays quiet afterward. He feels sorry for mentioning the 'Ex' issue in front of Luna. As he can conclude, Lily is totally Mr. Brian's daughter while Alex is…much more looked like Mr. Ray.
But, Sam said that Mr. Ray is only met with Luna last week and was smitten by her presence, that is why he insists on following her into this trip. Unfortunately, Mr. Brian already engaged with Luna, so his chance to flirt with Luna is, zero?
Hmm..that's a completedly entangling situation there. Jamal's thoughts keep wandering while steering the car.
For almost ten minutes they silent, Luna finally opens her mouth to start the conversation first. The partition window is soundproof, so, that's okay for her to talk about her past with Jamal.
"So, Jay..have you any experience with love before?" Luna started.
Startled, he smiles and nods. "Of course, I have a few girlfriends back then."
"Wow..you're a player, huh?" Luna took a peek at him a little. His look is not bad either.
Jamal chuckled, he shakes his head and says "No..it just..we're not compatible the more we know each other."
Luna scrunches a bit. "Hm.."
"You know, when you're at a phase of knowing someone, you get excited at first. The excitement goes for a few months, but later..when you truly know who she is..the excitement decrease and the more you know them, the more you feel you're not compatible with them. That's what I've been through for a couple of times. Maybe, I'm not fit to having a serious relationship yet?"
Luna smiled a little hearing his explanation. "Well, at least you're able to move forward and try again. Just...I think it's better if you not start a relationship with someone until you truly know her true nature. You'll only make your partner feel miserable if you dumped her using that reason."
Jamal nods his head. "Yes, Ma'am."
