Chapter 86 - You're Beautiful This Way

"Should we return to the hotel?" Jamal asked them all. Maybe after this incident, they don't want to continue these activities again?

Raymond turns his head to Alex and asking him using body language. Knowing what his father meant, Alex shakes his head before he says, "I'm okay now."

Luna holds both of Alex's shoulders to face her, she is still worried about him and the fact that how careless she is..she still in shock and regret.

Alex touches both of Luna's cheek with his hands, ensuring her that he really is fine. "I'm really okay, mama. I wanna go to the marine park after this okay?" He is lucky when his father immediately do the CPR to him, if not, well…Lily probably does something with the toys she brought along in her backpack even though it might reveal who she truly is.

"But, we have to check on you first," Luna said.

"I can do that! Let me check him, mama." Lily smile and went inside the boat and bring out her medical 'toys' case in pink color.

Seeing the girl bring out a case of her toys, Luna chuckles a bit. "But, baby...Alex needs to be check by a real doctor."

That being said, Lily pouted and murmur in a low voice. "But, Lily too wanna go to the marine park." which actually can be heard by all of them.

Luna bit her bottom lips. This is a bit difficult for her. She wants to fulfill want her child want but at the same time, she's worried about Alex's health. He is not a very healthy boy since he was a baby.

He was a premature baby and had a heart complex after his birth. He had to stay in the NICU for a couple of months before he was fully able to return home and recuperate. With this incident, she was afraid if something might happen to his heart again.

Raymond pat on Luna's shoulder before he averts his eyes to Alex again. "Hmm, how about we go to the marine park now but only for short sightseeing and we return back to the hotel after that? You still have to be checked properly. And in the meantime..let Lily check on you, okay?"

"Raymond-"

"It's okay, Luna. We can monitor him for a while. If something is not right, we can return immediately." Brian interjects her before she disagrees with Raymond's suggestion.

It's a win-win situation right now where both of their children could go to the marine park before they return back to the city tomorrow. He aware of Luna's worries but her decision might make their children sad later on.

Sighing, Luna finally agrees with the suggestion. "Okay. But not too long, okay?" Luna said while looking at both of the children. Hoping that they would understand her worries.

"Okay, mama!" Both of them said in sync.

After she agrees, Raymond jumps back to the water to fetch the life jacket that still floating on the surface and return back to the boat before Jamal steer it to the marine park.

While Luna and Raymond sit on the back deck, drying their hair, Brian let her soothe her worries and join Jamal at the front. Alex and Lily are inside the sitting area.

Lily opens the box of her medical toys and took out a stethoscope. "Sit." She instructs him and pressed the stethoscope bell on his chest for a while.

"It's beating normal now." She then put down the stethoscope and take her tablet device for scanning. Turn it on and she looks around to see what their parents are doing right now. 'Yup, they're busy with their own world right now.'

"Stay still," Lily said and scan his body around his chest and click the button on top of the device. "Um, you're not in danger..but you still have a bit irritation and you have to take a medicine. Do your throat and nose hurt?"

Alex nods his head. "Yup. It kinda stings a little."

"That's seawater, of course, it would hurt your throat. You should drink mineral water to get rid of the taste. Probably would make you lost your appetite for temporary. Ah...be careful of fever. You might get an after effect such as fever later." She put back everything in the case and lock it before she handed him a mineral bottle.

"Thanks, Lily." Alex takes the mineral bottle and opens it before he drank it.

"By the way, why you want to go to the marine park? I know you're not that desperate to go there." Lily asked. Wonder why did Alex want to go there.

"I just want mama to have a little more time with him." Alex averts his eyes to his parents at the deck, they both look like they were talking about something.

"You really work hard for them to get back, huh?" Lily rolls her eyes. Not knowing what to say anymore. If she knew about his real intention, she would've said no from the beginning.

"They're my parents and I want to know why they turn out like this. This curiosity is killing me. Do you know that feeling? When-"

"Stop. I know what you mean. Because I am too..curios about my real mom." Lily interjects his word.

"But, be careful Alex, curiosity is what killed the cat. Don't get your hope too high." She reminds him again. The reason is simple, she doesn't want him to get sad when things don't go to his way. And when he sad, he would lazily do the chores he already promises her to do. And that…would only annoy her more.

"Did you see that?" Raymond points his finger under the water when they pass by a swarm of fishes.

"Where?" Luna squinted her eyes to where he pointing at.

"Ah..you miss it," Raymond said and then he chuckles. "I see a lot of fish, probably migrating to another area."

"Hmm..really? But how can you spot it? isn't it hard to see when the boat is moving and the waves make it harder to see under the water."

"My eyesight is perfectly good, Ms. Luna. I can see even small things." Raymond smiled at her showing his perfect sculpture jawline.

"Really??" She still has doubts about his eyesight. Well, if it's 'night' Raymond, she used to see him wearing glasses when he does his work late at night. Is it actually he tries to protect his eyesight at that time?

"Yes, for example.." He scans Luna's face and curled up his lips again. "You have a tiny mole on your neckline, right? And…" Luna immediately covers her neck using her hand and avert her eyes to the ocean, a bit shy when Raymond saw that mole.

He squinted his eyes a little, sucking his teeth and he says, "Yup..no doubt. You're beautiful this way.."

Luna tries to hide her red face and shove away all of his words far away from entering her mind. 'No, Luna…don't let him manipulate you by his word again.'
