Chapter 94 - Activating Kiera

Luna and Raymond walk into the hotel's lobby without much talk after he said that and wait for the elevator. While they stand there waiting for the elevator, Alex glance at Lily and she nodded her head. Ready with her plan.

Luckily there's only them waiting at a bit hidden elevator which is found by Lily. No other people are waiting in this area except for them. Most of the guests had to wait at the lobby entrance. The hotel worker also did not notice them passing by them to another elevator lounge.

Ding! The elevator door opened and all of them enter the elevator. After Luna and Raymond push the floor button, Lily 'accidentally' throws her doll out from the elevator and she immediately grabs Alex's hand and gets out of the elevator which is about to close.

"Wha-!" Luna was so shocked when the kids suddenly went out and the elevator door closing right in front of her eyes. Luckily it did not pinch her children.

She then pushes the open button but it's not working, she already feels scared that something might happen to the kids.

"Hey..relax.." Raymond tries to calm her down and stop her from keep pushing the button.

Just after he said it, the elevator suddenly stops and the light inside the elevator blinking which makes Luna jump and clings on the man's neck. "What should we do now?" She stuttering a bit asking him.

Raymond also at a lost. He tries to push the emergency button but like before, it's not working. He then took out his phone but the bar line is gone. "There's no network line and the button is not functioning too," Raymond said while glancing at the girl who still sticks on him. Surely he did not mind at all she clinging on his body like a koala.

"We…we…should..call..B-Brian or..Ja-Jay."

Shakes his head, he said again. "No, we can't. My phone has no network line at all. What about your phone?"

Luna breath in and slowly releases her hand from hanging on his body before she took out her phone from her jeans pocket. Turn it on, she sighing helplessly. "Mine also."

"We should wait. I believe the kids will report this to the worker at the counter. They smart after all." Raymond said and he sits down at the corner of the elevator afterward.

Luna also sits down facing him, "You think they would do that? I'm still worried about them. What if someone with bad intention took them..or, kidnap them?"

Chuckled, Raymond then says "Well, I'm not sure about Brian's little girl, but my boy is smart, he wouldn't fall for a cheap trick. Believe me..they would get us out of here." He softly caresses her cheek, assuring her that everything will be fine.

A few minutes earlier.

"Alex..hurry up." Lily grunts while still running at the corridor until she stops at the front office with a sliver plate hanging on the door, 'server room.'

Huffing, Alex put his hand on the wall while leaning his back on the wall after that. "Can you open it?"

"No, I need to access it from inside. You do it, break this door." She still grunting and step aside to give Alex space.

Alex which still a bit panting then extended his hand. "Your baby powder," he said, asking her to give him her baby powder which she brings it inside her pony backpack.

"What?" Lily scrunches her eyebrow a bit. 'Na-uh..that's my face powder!'

"Hurry Lily..we run out of time or the elevator will be broken down and they gonna fall." No, he was just lying about the elevator things.

Scoffing, Lily then opens up her bag and gives him her baby powder which then he uses to blow it on the keypad surface.

"Hmmm..you do the guessing." Alex steps aside and lets Lily take a guess. He's not good at calculating with speed, but Lily does. Like how she can't do the mechanical thing but Alex can.

They both are completing each other with their own skill fields. "Alright. 999*7654#7801*45." Lily has done giving out her guessing.

"What? That long?!" Alex was dumbfounded. 'That's too long for a password. How could a person remember that?'

"But, it could be wrong," Lily states her worries.

"Can you use your program to open it?" Alex scrunches his eyebrow a bit. She always has a good code to hijack something.

"I can, but it's risky. They would alert the main security system and we're gonna exposed. Just break the damn door, will ya?" Lily smack Alex's arm a little.

Not having a choice, Alex took a small driver tools case and start to disassemble the door keypad device and deactivate the device before he opens the door. It took him less than two minutes to finally open the lock.

Lily's eyes widen when the door is open and she happily hitting Alex's arm again. "Let's go." Lily fled inside the room and find the server closet while Alex assembling back the door lock device and make it look like it was just like before.

When he goes to Lily, she already put on the magnetic round-shape device on the steel server closet. There's a cable connecting to the device and the server.

"Place your command." the device suddenly lit up and said with a female robotic voice.

"Activating Kiera," Lily said while typing something on her mini iPad. A moment she said that and the device changes its color into a green light from the blue light.

"Kiera is activated." the robotic voice once again said and after the light is changing, a normal woman's voice suddenly pops out.

"Good evening, my lady."

"Good evening, Kiera. I need your help." Lily states her command and Alex already takes a seat beside her. Ready to follow her planned.

"Of course, my lady. Please state your command." A device named Kiera is ready at her service.

Lily still monitors the energy that Kiera consumes ever since she was activated and as she thought..she really needs a large amount of energy to make her worked. It seems like she still needs to remodify again.

"I need you to shut all systems that connect to the elevator on the east side of this building. Make sure the security system doesn't detect you and block all the lines from the east side of the building. But don't affect the rooms which have a guest." She focuses on looking at the floor plan she downloaded before.

"Done, my lady," Kiera said in just less than three seconds.

"Alright, now…I need a live stream from the second elevator on the east side of the building. Oh, please make sure to cover all my tracks from before when I coming here. Wipe all of it from the security camera." She gives her instruction and places the iPad in between Alex and her.

Ready to hear from her mama's mouth and hope that they could resolve their problem. This is their last resort to help them.
