Chapter 102 - Please, Don't Cry

Luna opens her eyes when she hears someone just open the door. With blurry visions, she looks at the man who already froze and had a woman garment on his hand. She rubs her eyes a few times before she asked him. "What is that?"

Raymond immediately throws all of the clothes to her which makes her flinched before she pulls up a bra from her lap. Her face turns red. Well, obviously Raymond's was redder than her.

"That's…wear any of that for dinner. Hurry up! We already late." He then hurriedly went to the closet room. Ready to changing his clothes which were disturbed before.

Luna blinks her eyes in disbelieve. That cold eyes and rotten attitude surely belong to the 'night' Raymond, and what he gives her…are women clothes? Did he discover about her clothes that have been torn up by someone?

But, where did he find these clothes? Who's the one who willingly lends her these clothes? There's no way someone able to buy her new outfits in a short time either. All of the questions remain on her head when Raymond already walks out of the closet room. Looking so tidy with his formal suit.

"Uh…are we dine in outside?" She asked. A bit surprised actually.

"Why are you still not changing yet? We have dinner here, in this house. But, we have a guest tonight. After all, this is a formal dinner between the families. So, wear accordingly." He coldly said and went to the deck. It's been months since he last coming here.

Without any delay, Luna went to the closet room with a dress on her hand. Ready to change her attire. She wears an A-line black formal dress with a long sleeve lace. The dress fit her body perfectly and not too tight either. It was a knee-length dress. And she matches it with beige color heels.

She brushes her hair nicely and put on a silver hair leaf vine accessories on her head like a crown before she walks out of the closet room. "Raymond, I'm done." She calls him from the bed area.

Turn around, Raymond walk back inside and look at her from top to toes. ' Not bad. Like a Japanese doll.' He extended his hand to her.

"Let's go," Raymond said and once Luna takes his hand, they both leave to the dining hall. It's already 8:15 PM when they reach the dining room with many faces that Luna doesn't even remember.

Among all of the people in the dining hall, she only remembers Victoria, her father-in-law, and mother-in-law. Other than that, it's all blurry to her. 'Oh dear, here it is..a lions dent.' She unconsciously holding Raymond's hand a bit tighter.

Raymond caresses her backhand and walks to the two-seat space for them. "Sorry, we're a bit late." Raymond smile to all of them while pulling the chair for Luna before he then sits beside her.

"That is alright, Raymond. We just started." Victoria at the head of the table said while looking at everyone.

Only then Raymond's eyes catch two people who sitting opposite them with a smile on their faces. He suddenly scrunches his eyebrow and looks back at his grandmother.

"Grandma.." He opens his mouth but it was interjected by Victoria first.

"My guest for tonight is Liam. You brother. Luna, the man in front of you right now is Raymond's half brother, Liam. And Liam, that girl is Luna. Your sister-in-law." She introduces them in front of everyone which Luna only bow her head a little to the man.

"Hello." Luna smiles. No ill-intention at all, however, her smiles caught someone's attention. A girl beside the man staring at her with an irked.

"But, why-" Again, Raymond's eyes shift to the woman beside his brother. Feeling uncomfortable right now. He's not expecting to see her tonight.

"Oh, Raymond.." Barbara at his sides tap on his shoulder softly. "That is my guest. I did tell you this evening, that we had a guest, didn't I?" She smiles looking at his son who already turns back normal.

Raymond still looking at the girl. Feeling complicated looking at both of them. "Why are you even here, Sarah?" He asked which makes Luna avert her eyes to the girl.

'So, she's Sarah? The one who…cause Raymond all this pain?' the girl wears a cream color dress. Looking so pure with her eyes shimmering like a beautiful blue lake. She had a long wavy black hair color. Her smile looks very authentic and she had very nice tanned skin too.

Nothing is lack from her appearance. Everyone who saw her surely thinks she was a lovely girl. A match that fit standing beside Raymond perfectly.

Luna was taken aback. She then remembers that Raymond right now probably wasn't ready to face her. And the story that Mr. Carson told her hit her mind back. Who would've thought behind a lovely, beautiful girl, lies a wicked girl?

Sarah looks sad when Raymond asked her that question. Her eyes start teary a bit. But, she held it and asked him with an almost breaking voice.

"What do you mean, Raymond? I didn't even know…that you…" She looks at the girl beside him and shifts her eyes back to the man. "Have move on." Her tears flowing down her cheek.

"Oh my god..could we have a calm dinner, now?" Victoria sighs watching at the soap drama the girl put on in front of everyone here.

Luna immediately takes the napkin on the table, however, Raymond was faster than her. He gives it to her and says quietly. "We'll have a talk after this. Please, don't cry and I'm sorry."

Luna dumbfounded for a moment. However, she still put on a calm face and continues to eat dinner. She could only eat a small portion even though the dishes are so grand and variously on the table. Most of it looks so delicious, however, her appetite already dies down when she heard Raymond's word.

Even though it was the 'night' Raymond who said that and not the other two Raymond, she could feel a 'pang' on her heart. Really hurt. Why? Did she also already fallen for this one? Well, no doubt that this one is the rudest among the other two. But he's like a knight sometimes.

Always there when she needs helps. Is this mean that his word before in the dining restaurant would come to reality? She had to forget the other two if he really recovers, she promises him, right?

While she was busy with her thought, she wasn't aware of the girl secretly staring at her while Raymond also keeps on staring at Sarah. These have been watched by Liam, Victoria and half of the family.

After dinner, Barbara, Claudia, Ramona, Chelsea, and Lara invite Luna to have a drink at the minibar room behind the family hall. While Victoria was occupied with James and Augustine, talking about business while having a whiskey.

Meanwhile, the twins' couple and family take this chance to celebrate the return of Liam to this mansion. After so many years, finally, he returned back here. Indeed, Liam is more friendly with aunt Lara's lineage instead of his and aunt Claudia.

The rest of them is unknown their whereabouts. Probably doing their own business and entertainment after dinner.
