Chapter 138 - They All Are A Viper

Raymond frowned, "By my father doing? What did he do?" He asked her.

"Well, remember the day we fight because of that party at Nick's house?" Luna tries to start at the very beginning of the story.

Raymond nods, "Yeah, what's wrong with it?" Of course, he remembers that day. The day when Luna's accidentally hit him and make his condition turn more worst than before. However, he did not put the blame on her.

It just a spur of the moment.

"A few days after that, your father came to our house, the 'day' Raymond was the one who takes over your body. And he said he wants to teach him a lesson of prioritizing what's more important or something like that.

"He then brings us to the field. Without any of our servants and only his men following us. He let the 'day' Raymond shoot the pigeon, but he refuses to shoot. It makes your father angry. And he forcefully put me and your dog, Danny at the end of the field.

"Asking the 'day' Raymond to choose between us. One of us has to die, and if he refuses..your dad gonna shoot me."

"So, the 'day' Raymond shoot Danny?" He asked, interjecting her word.

Luna lowered her head and look at the outside of the window. "Yes. He has to shoot the dog. He cries so long that day.. he cries until he passes out."

Raymond turned silent. It's hard for him to stomach all of that. As far as he knows, his father is not that cruel. He may be a cold person, but not to the point of killing something that he knew, he loves it.

"But, I don't find anything odd in the camera footage at our house. I did saw he comes, but nothing weird with it." It is still hard to believe her story.

"Because he didn't do it in a place where you put your security camera, Raymond. That's why no one of our servants was allowed to follow us that day, and that's why he does it in the field." Luna knows it must be hard for him to believe, but what she tells him is also the truth.

Raymond still shakes his head. "Well, do you remember when I say that I met with my family before I return back to the mansion?"

Luna snapped her head to him, nodded, she focused on him. "I ask every one of them. My father, my mother, my sister and even my grandma."

"Well, my father had nothing to do with whatever happens to you. That, I can assure you, but my mother…she admits, she was jealous of you and to subside her jealousy, she forced you to drink. She said it was unintentional and she thought you were a good drinker-"

"But, she forces me, Raymond!" Luna cut his word and Raymond only nods his head.

"I know. She was drunk at that time. And she's sorry for what happen to you."

Luna bit her bottom lips and averted her eyes back to the road. "And my sister is the one who tore up your dress. I did ask about why she did that, and she said it because of me. Because I spend less time with her and more with you. Because I hide in my mansion and leave her all alone in the main mansion. And, because of that, I'm sorry." Raymond took Luna's hand and kiss on her knuckles.

"She'll give you back a bunch of dress to replace what she's torn." He said again to reassure her.

Luna already doesn't have any intention to hear the rest. "What about the Sulfuric Acid? What about the medication they give me?"

Inhales, Raymond said. "I still investigating it, all the clues lead to the underworld assassins. They call him 'the shadow' . Only a selected person can communicate with these assassins. And now, they still hunting them.

"I suspect it's not directed to you and they mess up thing. To try to kill you, they mess up with the medication. The one they are targeting is probably me. Again, this is because of me and I'm very sorry about this to happen to you."

Luna is still silent. What else can she say? He didn't believe her. And she also doesn't intend to fight him again because of this matter. She just wants to happily live in that house with the person she loves. For right now, it's better for her to not get too close to Raymond's family.

Close the month of November, and now enter a new month. December.

A week before Christmas, Luna already takes her annual leave as grandma Victoria already informed her that she and Liam will spend the whole holiday time with her and Raymond in SC until the new year.

She already makes preparation for their arrivals and Raymond also looks a bit excited to see them again. Even though he always celebrate it with his family in the main mansion, but this time, only important people would be there in his house.

While Luna was busy preparing a Creme Caramel in the kitchen with the help of the chef in the house, Mr. Carson hurriedly runs from the entrance door to the kitchen while wiping his sweat on his forehead.

Frowned, Luna glance at the man. "Charles, you're not a boy. Don't run in the house, please." She just sounded like a mother.

Gulped, Mr. Carson bow his head down and carefully said after that. "I'm sorry, My Lady. But.."

Luna lifts up her finger to hold Mr. Carson's sentence. She is now looking at the chef taking out the pudding from the cup into the plate. The caramel pudding looks so yummy right now especially when it jingles a bit.

"Now, Lady Luna, do you catch the right way to take out the pudding?" Chef Gomez asked while glancing at the girl. She looks way too excited to eat the pudding.

Nodded, she then wants to find a spoon but was stopped by Mr. Carson's cough. "Ahem...Please, My lady. I have important news I would like to tell you." He insisting her to pay attention to him.

Sighing, Luna stops and turned to the man who stands behind the kitchen island, while chef Gomez already puts the others pudding cup on the top of the kitchen island. He did make extra for his Lady which like to eat sweet dessert.

"What is it, Charles?" She asked.

"Um..Ms. Ramona and Ms. Sarah just arrived. They said they will spend the holiday in here too." He wipes his sweat again.

Dumbfounded, Luna look at the back of the man's figure. Two women approaching them right now. Included….Raymond?!

"Fuck!" Luna curse slips out from her mouth which then makes two men at the kitchen immediately frowned. She never curses anyone before…well, except for the 'night' Raymond.

"Sorry?" Mr. Carson thought it was him who Luna curse at but then it only makes Luna realizes that she said it out loud.

"Oh, not you, Charles." She smiles as the two women walk inside the kitchen area.

"Baby.." Raymond said as he then wrapped his arm around her and kiss her lips lightly.

"Mm..honey."
