Chapter 143 - I'll Make Your Life Miserable

When Sarah passing by the hall, Liam just walked out of the dining hall. He going down to find mineral water and was unexpectedly bump into Sarah at the living hall.

"Whoa, you okay, Sarah?" Liam asked as he sees she was wet with tears on her cheek.

Sarah stops her pace and turns around to the guy which holding two bottles of mineral in his hand. Without any second thought, she runs to him and hugs his body, crying.

Liam was a bit surprised, he then slowly pat on her back and tries to calm her down to which she finally calm down after a few minutes. Liam wants to return back upstairs but Sarah holds his robe to stop his pace.

"Can..can we talk for a moment?" She asked. Maybe it's the right time to tell him how she feels about him truly. Her eyes glistering to the hope that Liam will not reject her request.

Liam nods and follows her steps afterward to the swings in the sunflower garden which he finds quite attractive. Knowing that his brother is someone who likes the sunflower. 'Wait, it's Luna who planted it all and there's no way that cold man would plant something so beautiful like this in his lawn.'

Sits on the rattan chair, Liam looked at the girl who sits on the swings. "Did something happened?" He asked after a few minutes they silent.

Nodded, Sarah then opens her mouth. "Do you remember our childhood days, Liam?"

Liam frowned and slowly nod his head. Not knowing why she suddenly talks about their past together when they were just a little kid.

"You always come to rescue me. You were always nice to me. I mean, everyone is nice except for Timmy. He always bullies me and his sister, Chelsea also bullied by him." She chuckles and Liam was just silent to hear those stories.

It was long ago when everyone is still a kid and play innocently in the main mansion. But, it's different now. Everyone has their own lives and goals.

"I was so into you back then. But I kept it hidden until one day, you no longer come to the main mansion. No one knows where were you and no one seems to care. Raymond starts to holed up in his room for weeks and he only talks to me. Assuring him that you would come back later. I don't know he had feelings for me back then until he suddenly confessed to me in our high school in front of everyone."

Still, Liam silent and listen to what she wants to talk about or to why she cry tonight.

Sighing, Sarah continue again. "I can't say no to him as he..is the only way I can find out about you. I was secretly looking for you without anyone know it. And if I say no to him..there's no way I could meet you again. So, I agree with being his girlfriend back then. A few months later, I spot you near the town in Seattle and we talked that day. Do you remember? I was so happy. So I start blabbering about my relationship with Raymond as the way to communicate with you and keep in touch with you."

"I literally use Raymond as a bridge to connect with you. I never told him that I know about you. About your whereabouts and I know, he was looking for you too. Years go by and when I want to end things with him, he mistook our meeting as I'm cheating behind him. He was mad that day and I decide to go out of the city. Finding you and start anew."

"But, I never found you again. When I know about Raymond's accident and he was sick, I refuse to return. I was stubborn with the thoughts that he will always clingy to me. I wanted to get rid of him so badly and I didn't bother to return until I heard you were coming back to Main mansion last two months. I was happy, I thought I finally had my chance.. but you never looked at my way. And now, you come here with your girlfriend, really shocked me and tonight...

"I saw something that I shouldn't have. I think I should let you know, Liam..I..I've always…lo-"

"Stop right there, Sarah," Liam interject her word. He doesn't want to hear what she was about to say as he could guess it. He sighs and slowly shakes his head.

Sarah flinched and lowered her head, embarrassed. "Well, first..I'm sorry if I led your feelings into nothing. But, as you could guess. I had no interest in you. I thought of you as my little sister. Nothing more than that."

His word pierces right through Sarah's heart. It's hurt and stings at the same time.

"About what you do to my brother, I extremely sad like you're just using him and don't you think he was right to mad at you? Why don't you just say it to him that you don't love him from the start?" He starts criticizing her actions.

"I..I love you, that's the only way I could reach you…" Sarah pleads with her doe eyes which have no effect on Liam.

"Still, you lie to him and torture his feeling with your fakes loves? How you even know if you truly love me?" Liam frowned and sarcastically said. Feeling unfair of what she does to Raymond. For eight years, she was lying right at his face!

Sarah turns silent for a few seconds. "Please...I know my own feelings. And I still in love with you, I can't get rid of these feelings. I know, you're not serious with your girlfriend right now-"

"Sarah, stop this nonsense." Liam tries to stop her word but she was so agitating to talk.

"She's not even a good match for you. She's not from an elite family and not even know you longer than I am."

"Says who?" The person in question asked the girl with both of her hands crossing on her chest.

Taking small steps going to them. She averts her eyes to the man who already stands up and went to her, obviously to calm her down because she heard everything. Yes, she was hiding behind the glass door all this time when she was looking out for Liam when he's taking too long to find water in the kitchen.

"Babe..don't-"

"No, let me deal with this bitch." Sabrina slaps Liam's hand from touching her. She continues to walk to the girl who dares to insult her and saying she's not a good match for Liam? Who's she to judge who's match and who's don't?

Sarah gulped a bit and still stand on the ground, bravely. "You're not match to us the wealthy, you should know your place by now. This is not a Cinderella's love story, you low people."

Laughing, Sabrina went to her and slaps her face. "Really? Then a bitch like you is a good match for him?"

Sarah gasp and touch her burning skin. Her eyes were bloodshot and she literally trembling in anger right now.

"Who's the bitch? You peasant girl. Are nowadays, peasant girls are all rude like you? Huh! Just wait, I'll make your life miserable to pick a fight with me." She threatens her with a furious glare before she brushes off the couple and went upstairs angrily.

Just after Sarah's gone, Sabrina turns around to face the man. She took the mineral bottle on the rattan table and open the lid before she drinks it.

"Baby.."

Sabrina lifts up her one hand to him to stop talking and shakes her head. "Don't. I just don't want to hear it now." She then walked back to the bedroom followed by Liam at her back.
