Chapter 186 - I Know Who She Is

Brian, Lily, Alex, and Jamal enter the church where the wedding ceremony is held. Inside of the hall, there's many important figures and celebrity that were invited by the host.

Alex wears square frame glasses and puts on a brown lens so that no one will notice his grey eyes which is identical to his father. He also changes his hairstyle and each cuff of his suits is plated with a little 'L' brand made of gold. Indicating that he's from Lawrence's clan.

While Lily wears his 'princess dress' except there's no tiara but there's a simple, but nice decoration at her side hair. That's also because she insists on her housekeeper to not make her look like she was the 'bride' for today. All the maids look so excited when dressing her today.

When they entered the hall, all eyes were fixed on them and Lily immediately hide behind her father's legs while Alex took a cover behind Jamal's. Lucky they were small and they can hide behind the adult.

Brian looked down at her daughter, "What's the matter, baby?" He asked.

Lily smile and shake her head. "No..I just don't like people staring at us." She whispers and Brian looks around them. True. Many attendees who are coming today are looking at them right now.

Probably curious about his daughter's identity and the boy identity. He then signals Jamal to go and sits first with the kids at the bench while he does the greeting to his family and Wayne family.

Nodded his head, Jamal reach out his hand to Lily and she immediately took it and they went to the second last bench as all the rows at the front already full.

Alex inhales and sits properly. He's ready now. Whatever happens today, he will remember that the groom today is his father and he hopes they both will find their own happiness. His steady face has caught Jamal's attention.

"You're okay with this, Alex?"

Alex smiles at him and nods his head. "Of course, that's what he decides." His answer makes Jamal worry a bit.

'Oh dear, Mr. Ray...I guess even your kid doesn't love you. Will this still be like what he hope?' Jamal feels a bit anxious looking at how calm Alex is and thinking as to why Luna decides to not come to Raymond's wedding at all.

Lily look around her and spot her father was talking with someone and there's also her 'new' grandma she met last time. He then spots someone who just entered the hall with a kid beside him. Her eyes widen a bit.

'Isn't that man who's in the picture with mom?' She scrunches her eyebrow and that's caught someone's attention from afar.

He stares at her before they both looked at each other. They intensely look at each other even though it was the first time they meet. Lily then decides to ignore that stupid boy and avert her eyes to the altar again. Looking at the grand wedding altar ever. She tilts her head, thinking how many thousand of white rose is used to make that background wall?

Sky also averts his eyes back and met with his uncle who already grinning at him. "Who's that?" He asked and Sky growls at him.

"How do I know? I never met her." He said and stare at his uncle for a moment. "But, she was looking at you before she looks at me."

Harry chuckles and smiles widely. "I even attract a little girl's attention, huh? I know I'm handsome." He runs his finger through his side hair.

'Why am I bother to talk to him?' Sky rolls his eyes and slowly he releases his small steel balls on the floor before all the balls roll to its position.

He put on a small device on his ear while Harry wasn't looking and whisper, "I'm ready at your command."

A few minutes earlier,

"Mom." Brian went to his mother and kiss on her cheek before his mother suddenly grabs someone's forearm to her side.

"Darling, do you remember, Caitlin?" Madeline said and with a little sigh, Caitlin turns her body around and force a smile on her face.

"Hi, Ben." Caitlin greets him politely. She attends today's wedding because it's her sister's wedding and she was 'forced' to show her face today.

When she was talking to Madeline, suddenly she saw this man approaching them and thought that she wants to secretly leave, but was caught by Madeline.

"Hi, Cait," Brian replied monotonously.

"Do you know darling, Caitlin is one of my special agents," Madeline said again to which both of them shockingly turn to look at her.

Caitlin was shocked because Madeline casually reveals her identity in front of this man. Even though half of the intelligence agencies is hers, but isn't her identity is supposed to be kept hidden?

While Brian was shocked because why on earth that this girl be an agent? On top of that, if his mother states it was her 'special agent' means, she's in the highest ranking. Mostly the highest-ranking agent went into a very risky mission. And yet, this girl is so….well, she was so docile, weak and can't even protect herself. How can this be a reality? His mother must be joking around.

"Mom, don't-"

"I'm not, darling." Madeline smiled. Her expression clearly said that she wasn't lying.

Brian gulped and exhale a bit. "How did you-"

"Oh~ when my son leaves her alone I have to come in rescue, right? After all...Caitlin has changed so much, right dear?" She caresses on Caitlin's arm.

Caitlin shrugged her shoulder. "I guess so." She replies and took a glass of white wine a server brings on the tray when the server passes by them.

"So, that's why you have Eli?" Brian suddenly asked and almost make Caitlin spurts her drink.

"Hm? Have you both met before this?" Madeline asked in confusion and Caitlin glared at the man.

'Shit, wanna tell your mommy how you rip off my clothes?'

Brian smirked and stare at her gown. Well, very fascinating actually, she wears a red dress which reveals her body curve and her breast shape, it also slit up until her thigh. Not one bit look like an agent, but yeah..she can be a sexy partner for Mr. Bond?

"No..I just..saw this." He reached up Caitlin's hand and show his mother a set of bangle on her arm which is actually a device that has been upgraded. Clearly, it was his tech that she was wearing it right now.

Yank her hand softly, she smirks at him, "You're very sharp, Ben. Unfortunately, you're not good enough to analyze people, huh?"

"Alright, you both.." Madeline came in the middle and hold both of their arms. "We don't want to start a war here. I just thought that maybe you two could befriend again. Let bygones be bygones, will you?" She looks at both of them.

Caitlin smile looking at the old lady beside her, "Of course, Ma'am."

"Na-uh! What did I say to you? Call me Madeline when we're not in working time." Madeline reminds her and Caitlin nod her head.

"Now, excuse me, Madeline, I had to greet other family members and guests" She took the opportunity to run away from that man and his intense gaze at her.

"Alright, dear." Madeline nods her head and watches her go before she then averts her eyes to Brian and looks around him. "Where's Luna?"

Brian scratches his head a little. "Uh..she…"

Madeline rolls her eyes, "I already know who she is.." She said and hold Brian's hand. "As much as I love you, I had to remind you again.."

Brian bit his bottom lips. Knowing what his mother wants to says to him.

"Do not steal someone's else lover, Ben.. you know what happens to you when the last time you did it, right? Especially, she is also from Wayne."

Brian sigh and says, "Both of them are not Wayne's property, mom..they're a human being. And.." He rubs on his mom's arm. "Don't worry. We've talked about this and we did not plan on marrying either."

Madeline sigh in relief. "It's not that I-"

"I know, mom.." Brian kiss her forehead and caress her cheek. "We're both adult and mature enough. There's no 'no string attached' or 'friend with benefits' between us. We're clear and only 'friend who care for each other' , that's all."

"I'm glad of you," Madeline said and look at the entrance. "The wedding's gonna start, let's go and find a seat."
