Chapter 191 - Where's Your Clan?

Luna moaned when she felt a soft hand snaking her body from behind before a kiss landed on her shoulder. She slowly opens her eyes, and her body slightly ached because of last night's sex with the man lying behind her back.

"Morning, love." Raymond hoarsely said, and Luna replies with hmm. She covers her body with the sheet and runs to the bathroom. Feeling embarrasses and Raymond chuckle to see how fast she runs away from him.

Turning his body to the side, Raymond found his wristwatch and looks at the time now. It's almost ten in the morning, and he feels a bit hungry. He didn't eat since yesterday afternoon and did excessive exercise last night drained his energy today.

He was sure that his family would track him now and hope that Jamal didn't get caught. He sits up and wears his pants before he walks out of the bedroom and goes to the kitchen. He is looking for something to eat.

Lucky that Luna had already stocked up their food supply yesterday, and at least he could replenish his energy. He took a carton of milk and made some sandwiches for him and Luna.

When he's done making breakfast, he sees Luna walk out of the bedroom. She was wearing a long cardigan and tight pants. Taking a seat at the kitchen island, she focuses on the sandwich he made. Lifting her eyebrow a bit "improved." She murmurs, and Raymond chuckle.

He leans at the counter and slips her hair strand to behind her ear. "Eat up. We have a lot of things to discuss after this." He whispered to her and poured her a glass of juice.

Luna took the sandwich he made and ate it. Well, he improved a lot from the last time. "Luna..remember what I told you yesterday?"

Luna looked at him while scrunching her eyebrows a bit. "Relax, I'm not going to dump you."

Raymond started and laughed softly. "No, that's not what I meant." He wipes her corner of lips, which has a bit of ketchup before he licks his finger. Luna gulped and took her juice to drink. Try to forget that sexy scene she watches.

"What I mean is, getting your family justice for what my family has done to you. Or a simple word is revenge. You still want to do it, right?" His tone was so gentle, and Luna bit her lips a bit. She doesn't know how to respond to her questions.

As much as she wants to do justice to her family, she is also afraid that she won't be able to make it real. She was a soft-hearted person; of course, this kind of thing is somehow hard for her to do it.

While she hesitated, Raymond took her hand and kissed on top of it. "I'll help you and train you until you can overcome this. A family gathering will be held in October, so we have time until I brought you back to the main mansion."

Luna looked at him while sighing. She doesn't know why he eager to do this for her. "Raymond..we talked about your family here, do you understand what you're saying right now? You were about to go against your family...what if they know about Alex? I don't want to risk my baby's life."

"I also don't want them to know about Alex until everything is solved. There's a reason why I hire Jamal as Alex's butler, and he will keep him safe. Brian's also sheltered him for a temporary while we do our things in the main mansion. So, you don't have to worry." He still assuring Luna.

"What..what if they do something to you again? What if this time they kill either one of us?" Luna was still unconvinced with his plan of getting revenge.

Smiling, Raymond pats her head. "It's not going to be easy to kill us this time. I have someone I want you to meet later. She's Charles's sister. She serves in SEAL as Delta force member for years. So, she will assign as your maid lady when you entered the mansion. I assume Brian also will not let you go just like that without his people protecting you. So, don't worry. You're very much safe."

Again, Luna exhaled and shrugged her shoulder. "If that's okay with you, I guess I can try." Raymond was right. With so much protection she received from Raymond and Brian, she is like untouchable.

With this, maybe everything will be smooth, and she can get her parents and everyone that die five years ago the justice they deserve.

"Now, eat your breakfasts... I'll train you after I shower." Raymond kissed her cheek and went to the bedroom, leaving her alone at the kitchen island.

While drying her hair with the towel, Luna saw Raymond at their lawn, like bury something at each corner of this land he owned. She strode outside at the patio and tilted her head a little.

"What're you doing?" She asked.

Lifting his face to her, Raymond smile and walk back to the patio, taking out a small remote device from his pocket. "Sealing our whereabouts. The device I buried at each corner of this place enables us to trigger any electronic device pass by our space and automatically shut them down." Raymond pushes the button, and Luna saw a glimpse of ray covering their house for a moment before its turned usual again.

"But, what if airplane passing by our space? Doesn't it dangering their lives?" Well, she was worried, what if they cause someone innocent to die? But her question makes Raymond chuckles.

"Don't worry. It won't affect large scale energy as an airplane. What I meant is a drone and its also functioning as a camouflage when it activated, all the passerby can see is a tree and mountain."

"But..why-"

"My family won't let me go just like that, love. They will use any way to find me, and before we return to face them, I want us to be safe first." Raymond cupped her face and kissed her cheek before they heard a whimpering sound not far from their cabin.

Luna scrunched her eyebrow and looked at Raymond, who also looks surprised to hear that sound. "Did you hear that?" Luna asked, and Raymond nods his head.

While holding Luna's hand, Raymond walked to the backyard of their house. He found an injured dog was lying between the line where Raymond just activated it a minute ago.

"Oh..he's injured," Luna says and approaching the dog, but when Luna just a step away from the dog, he growled and showed his sharp fang. His eyes full of danger, and Luna immediately stops her pace.

Raymond pulls Luna's arm and shakes his head to her. "Don't go, he's scared." He then looks around the backyard and pointing his finger on the pushcart, not far from them.

"I'll take the pushcart to move him. Uh, do you know any veterinary clinic around here?" Raymond asked while going to the pushcart.

Luna nod her head. "I think I know a place."

Raymond slowly went to the dog's side, and he still growling at him, showing his sharp teeth. "It's okay, hero. We're not going to harm you." He said and slowly pat the dog's head, and immediately the dog turns obedient toward him.

It somehow amazed Luna, and she still looks at how Raymond tends to the dog. "You're a big kind of dog, aren't you? Why are you wandering alone in the woods, huh?" He caresses the dog's head before he gently carries the dog into the pushcart.

While carrying the dog, he notices something unique about this dog. He's not entirely a dog. He's a mixed breed between a wolf and a dog. No wonder he had a large and sturdy build. The color of this dog was also quite close to the wolf.

"You're a special, huh? Where's your clan?" He looked at the dog's leg and saw a shooting wound. Meaning there's a hunter around here. They must've thought that this dog is a wolf.

Without any delay, Raymond stands up. He pushes the pushcart to Luna's jeep, and Luna immediately went to the cabin house, taking her sling bag and car keys.

Of course, Raymond will use Luna's jeep instead of Brian's sports car. Lucky that Luna brings the vehicle to the mountain and it's easier than the sports car. After all, he still needs to compensate Brian for scratching his car.

After moving the dog into the backseat, Raymond takes the keys from Luna before Luna went to the passenger seat beside the driver. They went down to a small village where Luna believe Wilson know someone who can treat an injured animal.

"The dog seems to submit to you. How did you do that?" Luna asked while Raymond was focusing on the road.

Turning to her, he cheekily smiles. "I just know how to tame a fierce animal."

Luna rolled her eyes and averted it to the outside of the window. Well, she buys it what he says. Just look at how he can train Danny years ago.

Everyone was afraid of that beast, yet only he and she can make the dog obedient and listen to them. But looking at the dog they just found today, it feels like its more dangerous than Danny. But it also cute and adorable.
