Chapter 216 - Too Sudden!

Like a flash, Nick immediately went to her and grabbed Luna's arm, which makes her flinch a bit. Looking at the man, she was a bit startled and tried to keep her face calm.

"Luna??" He asked, and he sounded like he is so relieved.

Luna gulp and Raymond grab Nick's hand, "Handoff of her." He said with a stern face. Obviously, he doesn't like how this man touches his wife.

Again, Nick was surprised. "You! You were the one who was with her, right? What did you do to Luna??"

Luna pale a bit. This situation is kind of messed up from their original plan. She had to take the initiative, or this guy will expose her true identity. Furthermore, why is he here??

"Wait, wait…who are you?" Luna asked and yanked her hand from both of them.

Nick scrunched his eyebrow to her. "Luna, it's me. Nick..your-"

"Your what?" Ramona interjects while looking at them both. She was fuming to see his man suddenly being attracted to this unknown girl. Not only her clothes are too revealing, but her face also looks like a cheap bitch.

"Babe," He turns to look at Ramona and sighs a bit. "Maybe I was wrong. She looks like my classmate. But, she was long dead."

Raymond turns to look at Luna, like asking her to confirm his story, and Luna shrugged her shoulder to him. This Nick is indeed the same Nick that has a crush on her. The same Nick that Raymond punched on his face and the same Nick that invite her to his Halloween party five years ago.

Turn back to the man; Luna smiles cunningly. She thought of an idea, and it might irritate both of Raymond and Ramona. She touches Nick's chest and tilts her head a little.

"Wow..you're not bad and ripe." She averted her to the man's face, seductively, "But, unfortunately, I'm not your Luna as you thought." She smiles and glances at Ramona, which already throwing a deathly glare to her.

She smirked and shifted to Raymond. Try to subside his anger. Well, even though she was delighted to make him jealous, she still doesn't want him to punch that man again. She hugs Raymond casually and kiss on his cheek. "Don't get mad, darling~ I love you more." she openly flirts with him.

Hug her waist, Raymond glared at the man and walked to other family members. He is introducing Luna as his new girlfriend with the name of Luna Arista.

Luna Arista is from a nouveau riche family and lives abroad since she was young, and Raymond falls in love with her on his trip last time. That's how they are telling everyone in the mansion.

"Woof! Woof!" The big breed dog suddenly runs to Raymond's side when Barbara tries to handshake with Luna.

Startled, she looks at the dog and takes a step back. "Ray-Raymond..whose dog is this?" She asked, and Luna smirked at her.

She bends down and rubs on Hero's head. "Mine." Luna reply, and when she stands up, Rose immediately cleans up her hand with a wipe tissue. She does it with full of courtesy as a rich lady from a wealthy family. Of course, all of her information has been fabricated by Brian before they went there. Only he has access to the government database.

"How-how dare you bring a creature like this inside of our house!" Barbara said, and Liam chuckles at her statement.

"Why not, mother? It's just a dog." Liam said and permitted Luna and Raymond to keep the dog at their side.

Luna smiles happily while slowly clapping her hands. "Yeay~ you can stay inside the house, Hero."

Seeing Luna overjoyed, Raymond once again landed his kiss on her head.

Sarah, who still shocked, finally gain her conscious back. She frowns, looking at the couple and starts sorting a plan to get him back. She had until this end of the year to get him in her grasp again, or she will be kicked out from the Rochester family.

"Raymond…" Sarah walks to the couple and tries to look like an innocent girl in front of him. "I miss you."

Luna chuckles and looks at the girl. "So, you're the one who tries to deceive my darling, huh?" her eyes show her that she was ready for a fight. It was different than the last time.

"It's not like that.." She wants to hold Raymond's hands but was slaps by Luna. "Please don't touch my man with your dirty hand again, missy.." as she speaks, she holds out her hand for Rose to clean it with a hand sanitizer. She is treating Sarah like some bacteria.

Sarah clenches her fist. "Raymond..can we talk?" She still trying to look at the man who doesn't even care to look at her. All his focus is on that new girlfriend.

"I don't think there's something we can talk anymore," Raymond replied monotonously. They both then walk pass by her and continue to greet another family member.

Aunt Lara is already old, and she looks calm as ever. She always smiles ever since Luna enters the hall. She is very welcoming her and Raymond. Her family line also there and very much pleased to see Raymond with someone else rather than Sarah.

"What's wrong with you?" Ramona asks after they both went to the patio where there's no one there. She crosses both of her arms around her chest, waiting for his reply.

"I'm sorry...I thought she was my ex-classmate." Nick said while adjusting his collar a bit. It's quite frustrating when he knows that she was not the same girl as the Luna he knows.

"What is this about? Why you suddenly jump out even if she's your ex-classmate? Are you..perhaps likes her in the past?" Ramona asked. She has been dating Nick for more than two years now. And never once he said about the girl in his high school. Is she someone that's he loves in the past?

Nick, silent for a moment before he slowly shakes his head. "It's in the past. Let's not talk about it anymore." He really doesn't want to talk about his feelings right now.

Even though the girl before said she was not Luna Robert but Luna Arista, he could feel that she was the same girl. Her gaze and aura were the same as the Luna he knows. And the man beside her also…

'But, he looks more collected than in the past. He looks like a different person. Have I mistaken them? It's been five years…'

Ramona was still suspicious of him, but to not spoil the mood, she just goes along with him. She will definitely find the truth about this later.

'Who is that girl? Why she resembles like Luna, my brother's deceased wife?' looking at them from the glass window, Ramona squinted her eyes.

"She's no ordinary girl." Ramona murmurs and follows Nick to went back to the hall.

The introduction went smoothly as they did not question why Raymond suddenly bring his new girlfriend to the family gathering.

Over the dinner, Raymond lifts his glass and clink it with his utensil, "Ahem...I have big news tonight." he started, and all eyes are fixed on him.

Sarah's heartbeat quicken as Barbara and Ramona too. Like they already predicted this moment.

"I would like to.." He put down the glass and rummage his pocket to take out a velvet box from his pocket before he kneels down in front of Luna.

Luna gasps as she covers her mouth with her fingers. Showing how shocked she was to everyone. Her eyes were teary a bit. "Aww…baby…"

"Will you marry me?"

Sarah abruptly stands up, and her glass falls on the floor. Shattered and hurt Ramona's leg. "Argh! Sarah!" she shouts, and Nick immediately stands up and helps her.

"Raymond…son, this is too sudden!" Barbara said, and Luna turns to look at her with a little smirk on her face.

"Oh, you think so, auntie?" She handed her finger to Raymond, and he happily put on a ring on her ring finger.

Averted her eyes back to Raymond, she cupped his chiseled jaw and pulled him to kiss him passionately in front of everyone. "Of course, I will, darling~."

Raymond sleeks his hand to her neck and pulls her again for the second kiss. Whisper to only her to hear. "You're so bold. I like it." He licks her lips again.

Glanced at Sarah, who already clench her fist and how terrified her face is, she secretly smirks inwardly.

'Congratulations, you just lure the enemy inside your trap Luna!'
