Chapter 221 - I Feel Insecure

Luna walk passes by the hall, where most of the men hang out there except for Henry and Liam. They both probably already in the study room because Luna heard Liam was calling for him before.

When they pass by the hall, she saw that Raymond was still there — engrossed with the business subject. She doesn't want to interfere with them, so she decides to go to the terrace garden.

Rose and Dania already went to set up their next mission while checking the room before Luna enter. They had to filter everything they give to Luna to avoid any danger.

While Luna was enjoying her night breeze, suddenly Nick walk from behind her and says, "Taking fresh air?" he leans on the rails while looking at Luna's face.

He was sure that this girl is the same girl from his hometown. Having a crush for a long time makes him recognize her figure a bit.

Luna was startled at first, and when she saw it was Nick, she smiles a little and nods her head. "Hm. What about you? Why not join the man's group?"

"Ah…they talked about business. Not my forte, really." He said and chuckled a bit. Yup, it's annoying for him to talk about the business subject since he's not working in that field.

"Oh..I know what you're mean," Luna replied and looked at the night sky. It's not hot at night, like when she lives in Singapore.

"So…where have you been all this time, Luna?" He asked with his gentle voice, and Luna averted her eyes to the man, scrunching a bit.

"What do you mean?" She asked, and Nick only smiles at her. "Wait, you still think I'm yours…lost friend?"

"What's the reason not to believe it? I've watched you for a long time, Luna. Its quite late for me to say this, but…I used to love you secretly ever since we're still in elementary school. So, everything about you is in here." He's pointing his finger on his head. "Tell me, why are you still with that rough man? He's the one who ruins the Halloween party, isn't he?"

Luna was again surprised by his confession and a bit shocked by how he still remember Raymond's face at that time. Raymond was indeed a fierce man when he's in his 'night' personality, but right now..he's different.

"I don't know what you're talking about, Mr. Nick." Luna took a safe option to not reveal her identity to him. He, after all, is Ramona's boyfriend, isn't he? Too bad that he had a bad taste for a girl this time.

When Luna wants to leave him, Nick grabs her arm. "Wait, Luna.." He went to her side and whisper to her. "If you want, I can help you get out of his grasps. He's not a man who can make you happy at all."

Luna was dumbfounded by what he says. Raymond is the only man who can make her this stupidly in love, and no other man can shake her heart from the very beginning since she starts to love him. Well, not even the perfect Brian can make her feel like when she was with Raymond. How dare he said that Raymond is not the man who can make her happy.

"Listen, Mr. Nick. If I were your lost friend, I would say this to you; you're the one who needs to consider your choice. That girl you're date right now.." She shakes her head and whispered to him, "Is no good at all."

Shove his hand from her arm, Luna walks back inside the house. Leaving Nick dumbfounded and speechless.

Both of them didn't notice that Ramona was there. Hiding behind the pillar when they 'intimately' whisper to each other. Raymond was there too. He follows Luna when he saw her, but stop his pace when he saw Nick was after her.

He needs to listen to what that guy wants to talk to Luna, and when that guy grabs Luna's arm, he wants to punch the man on his face, but that's when he spots Ramona was looking at them and hid behind the pillar.

He was just hoping that this incident can ignite Ramona's jealousy to make her mistake. Therefore, he stays still until Luna leaves the place.

Luna opens the bedroom door and throws her body to the bed. She was tired today, and while she still lazying on the bed, the bedroom door opened by Raymond.

His face looks cloudy, and he seems a bit sour. Luna scrunched her eyebrow while sitting on the bed. "Something happens, honey?" she asked, and Raymond sits beside her.

Pull her head closer to him, he kissed her on the lips. A bit different from how he usually kissed her. It's like he gave her a little 'punishment' by biting, licking, and sucking her tongue.

She softly pushes his body and covers his mouth from invading hers again. "Now, you better tell me, what's going on? Or I'll really really mad at you." Luna said, and Raymond pulls her body into his embrace.

"I'm sorry." He said with a low voice.

"Baby…you know I don't have a superpower to read your mind, right?"

Raymond slowly nods while still hugging her. "I saw you..and that guy at the terrace."

Luna gasps, she immediately pulls away from the hug and looks at Raymond's eyes. "Baby... I swear there's nothing between us. Well, he said that he likes me, but I never like him. I-"

"Mmf!" he kissed her again. This time its a bit rough than before.

"Now, you're forgiven. But don't go near Nick again. I get jealous easily, you know. I feel insecure." He then caresses her lips with his thumb before he kisses her softly again.

"You're insecure?" Luna blinks her eyes a few times. Of course, she was surprised to hear that from him.

Nodded his head, he hugs her again. "Of course, I am. I'm afraid that you'll leave me again. You know how much I love you, don't you?"

She felt like her heart melt again with his confession. "I love you too, Raymond. I love you too."

They hugged for a moment until Luna broke the hug and said to him, "Shall we go to sleep now?"

"Okay." Raymond helps her to pull the comforter and cover her body until her chest. "So, why is he whispering to you? What did he say?" Raymond continues again to ask her about what they talked about earlier.

Chuckles, Luna turns her body to him. "Well, he says he knew it was me from my figure since he likes me from elementary school. He doesn't buy that I'm a different person. What should we do?"

Raymond frowned. "He says that? So persistent." he clenched his fist tightly.

Holding his hand, Luna says again. "Honey..don't punch him like the last time. He'll know it if you do that again."

"Hmm..when you say it; my hand is all itchy right now."

"Maybe we should do something a bit different to make sure they believe us?"

"I'll think another way. In the meantime, don't get close to him, okay?" he kisses Luna's forehead, and Luna closed her eyes after that.

Within a few minutes, she falls asleep while Raymond walks to the giant glass window. Thinking of a way to make sure they believe them. Luna's identity cannot be exposed right now.

Their plan also needs to go accordingly before they can finally have a peaceful life again.

While he's looking at outside, he spots Ramona and Nick were having an argument at the little garden behind the mansion.

He frowned a bit before he smiles. "Well, interesting." he murmurs and closes the curtain before he also went to bed.

He knows Luna doesn't like to sleep with the curtain is open. She always had a weird imagination if she can see the outside in the middle of the night. He wonders why she ever thinks that way.

After closing the curtain, he went back to the bed. Hugging Luna into his arm and start to sleep.
