Chapter 267 - As Good As A Joker

"Lily, are you sure it is safe?" Alex looks around them. They are currently at the opposite building from the hotel, where Brian supposed to get engaged tonight. 

"Relax, I need to give that damn boy signal that we're here. Eli will erase the trace later." Lily said casually while looking at the door in front of her. The door is locked from the inside, but based on the location Sky gives her, it's the exact place for them to meet today.

"Alex, do your role." Lily steps to the side, giving Alex space for him to open the door lock. Both of them sneaking out from the hotel using Alex's new creation of a robot that he just finished building up. This is the opportunity for him to test his device.

'Well, hopefully, those robots keep staying real and act natural until we get back.' Lily looks at her wristwatch. It almost time for the party to start. She's a bit uneasy since they both don't have any security and bodyguard with them, and they are totally in a foreign place.

Alex does his job to unlock the door within the minimum time and a second later...Click!

"Alright, done. Let's go in, Lily." Alex taps on Lily's shoulder before they both go inside the dark place without any light on. The moment they are standing at the center of the hall, a sudden light makes Lily covering her eyes using her hands. It's quite tricky to immediately adjust the brightness to the eyes.

"Ah! You guys already here?" a familiar voice echoes through the hall. There's nothing inside the room where they're standing like an empty one-bedroom apartment. 

"Sky, isn't it?" Lily replied. And once her eyes adjusted to the light, she looks at the corner of the room. There's a single small sofa in red color. There, a boy wearing a white tuxedo and neatly waxed hair sitting silently looking at both of them.

Sky smile at the sight of Lily. She was cute like when he met her the first time at church, wearing a yellow evening gown, and her curly hair was down to her chest-length. He then averts his eyes to his cousin, which is dear to his uncle Raymond, Alex.

Alex is also quite stunning tonight wearing a black tuxedo, and his charm does not fall far from him himself. He had to admit, Wayne descendant all have a handsome looking feature. Now the three of them are here. Three geniuses born from the experiment have finally gathered.

"Hello, cousin." He stands up and walks to Alex before he extends his hand to Alex, who is still put on his guard up.

Alex looks at him before he finally shook Sky's hand. "So, you're Sky, huh?"

Lily scoffed. She then releases the handshake between the two. "Cut the introduction. Now, I'm here. Why do you want to meet us, Sky? You have to hurry. Alex and I need to return to the banquet." 

"Whoa...easy, Miss Lily. Your dad won't notice your absence. I'm sure either one of you has done something incredible to cover up your real body, isn't it?" Sky said confidently. Judging by Lily's character, he was sure that girl is smart enough to create a diversion. He's not sure about Alex's credibility, but he knows he can't look down on his cousin's ability.

"Tsk!" Lily clicks her tongue and avert her eyes to Alex. Annoying with Sky, who can read her move. She doesn't know why, but seeing this guy makes her a bit irritating. Lily thought it probably because she knew this boy's intelligence is far more advanced than her. Maybe she was jealous of him?

Chuckles, Sky's extending her hand to Lily, which makes Lily frowned a little. 'What? He wants to handshake with me?' Lily said inwardly.

Clearing her throat a little before she took his hand softly. 'Hm, his hand is quite soft.'

"Uh…I actually need your Eli. Not to.."

"I! I know!" Lily feels so embarrassed. Her face turns red, and she immediately retracts her hand back before taking off her earring and giving it to him.

Alex, at the side, only watching both of them immerse in their own little rainbow world. He doesn't intend to get in between them, and so he turned his body to the glass window. Watch the sight of the party at the hotel in front of the building he's in. From afar, it looks so fancy and grandiose with so many lights and people coming out and in from the terrace garden.

Seeing Alex turning his body to the glass window, Lily also avert her eyes to see the event at the building in front of them. Slowly she walks to him, tapped her hand on his shoulder. "You're okay, Alex?"

Nodded, Alex turns his head to her and smiles. "I'm okay. Just wonder if mama already there or not."

Meanwhile, Sky takes out his laptop from his backpack and start installing a new program and feature inside Eli's brain. He is using his virtual router he built-up to access to his cloud server. His source of the network is untraceable by govt as he put up so many layers of a firewall that can't penetrate. While accessing the data from Eli's brain, he frowned a little and glanced at Lily standing next to Alex.

"Lily.." He called her.

"Yeah?" She turned her head around and looked at the boy who sits on the floor while focusing on the laptop's screen. His face looks serious than his naughty face earlier.

"Come here." He said without looking at them before he changes his word after, "Wait, both of you. Come here."

Looking at each other, Alex and Lily then walk to Sky's side. Wonder, what makes this fellow frowned like he just watches a horror movie. He was clearly a bit shocked than before.

"I install a new program that can retrieve Eli's memory back before the attack started five years ago. As I reboot Eli and restore back his memory from when the attack starts, guess what I found?" He looks at Alex before he looks at Lily after that.

"Is it something good? Or is it.."

"Oh~you gonna love it, Alex. But, I do hope you do not act recklessly after watching this." Sky smirks a bit before he clicks the button to play the record he found on Eli's unconscious mind five years ago.

At the lobby hotel,

Luna walks elegantly side by side with Raymond, followed by Dania and Rose behind them. A few step ahead of them is Barbara and James. While Ramona is not in sight. She is probably not attending this event as Sabrina told them she was abroad yesterday.

When they were about to enter the ballroom, Dania slightly taps on Luna's arm before she's signaling Luna to her next move.

Understand Dania's signal, Luna pulls Raymond's arm gently. Whispering to his ear, "I need to use the restroom. You go ahead first, okay?"

Raymond lifts up his eyebrow while glancing at Dania, and the girl immediately averts her eyes elsewhere. "Hmm..just make sure you come back in fifteen minutes top. Or else, I assume it's as an emergency." He is also whispering to her ear, making Luna lift up her head to him afterward.

"Are you serious?" She asked. She could see that Raymond is anxious. Maybe he is worried about her. She thought.

"I'm deadly serious, darling." He kisses her cheek softly before he then looked at Rose. Warning her to make sure nothing happen to his darling wife.

Stand straight like a soldier, Rose slightly nods her head. 'Of course, I also don't want to make my master kill me because he knew Luna is in danger like last time.'

"Then, I'll try to use my time properly, and I'll see you in a bit," Luna said and went to another way from entering the ballroom. The three of them walk away from the ballroom door, which then caught Barbara's attention.

"Huh, where did your mistress go? How dare she show up here, humiliating our family with her presence and now disappear to nowhere?" She scoffed. 

Raymond glared at his mother. "She's my fiance, mom. Refrain yourself from insulting her, or else, I'll have to send my lawyer to sue you. Of course, you don't want your name turns bad for getting sue by me, aren't you?" he brushes off Barbara before he went inside the ballroom. His father is not in near sight anymore. Probably engage with other business partners inside the hall.

Barbara grit her teeth after hearing what her son just said to her. Clearly, Raymond has no respect for her anymore. It really makes her blood boiled. Just the thought of that woman dare to influence her son to be like this. This is really out of line.

"Fine. Don't blame me if I get rid of that rotten woman from your side, son." She clenches her fist before she bitterly went inside the grand ballroom. 

At the corner of the ballroom,

"So, how is she?" Luna asks while walking to the restroom with both of her bodyguards. Rose then locked the bathroom from inside.

"She's as good as a joker." Dania laughs and takes off her dress. She is changing her dress into a spandex suit before removing the air ventilation cover on the bathroom's ceiling.

"You look happy." Luna tilts her head a bit. Curious as to why Dania seems to enjoy seeing their target get crazy.

"Of course, I am! For me, just make her go crazy is not enough despite what she's done to you. She should suffer a lot more."

And Rose nod her head, agree with Dania.
