Chapter 280 - Attack Them Brutally

Beep Beep Beep!

"Uh, Cait…something happen at the base." Flynn got the alert notification before he looks at his phone for a second, and he handed it to Caitlin.

Scrunching her eyebrow, Caitlin also looks at the problem, which just happens at the CIA's base. "What is this? A cyber attack? But, by whom?" she asked Flynn before they both slowly turn their head to Lily. 

Lily then raises her eyebrow a little asking them what happen there. As she didn't get involved in any part of the attack, they were talking about. 'Look, I'm here all the time with you guys..there's no way I make those attacks, unless…' Lily gap her mouth a little.

"Wait! I think I know who did it. Let me look at it." She said and pulled out her private laptop from below the coffee table. Turn it on, and within less than a minute, she able to enter the CIA's base system.

"You know who did it?" Caitlin sits on the floor as she watches how swiftly Lily does her job. She just proves it that she really is one of the geniuses from the Gen-X product.

However, Caitlin also feels sad for her. At her age, she didn't act like other kids. Lily probably didn't thoroughly enjoy her childhood times. Her brain must be filled with so many problems equal to an a.d.u.l.t where she supposed to be playing around and exploring the world like other average children.

"Can you stop the video from appearing?" Flynn asked when Lily didn't reply to Caitlin's question.

"I don't think so. That person is relaying a message to me. I need to figure it out first before I turn it down from your server. Please inform the base to wait for it. Nothing is stolen from your database, so it'll be okay. No harm." Lily said without looking at them both.

Lily then types something on the small black window, which later replied with an extended code. All the symbol and the system they used is too unfamiliar to Flynn and Caitlin.

"So, one of you has been returned…" Lily murmur and type again. Asking that person his specific location. But the reply she got is another code that she needs to crack. It's like a riddle in a long word.

"What the hell is this stupid doing by sending me this shit to decode...Urgh.." again, she murmurs, and Caitlin turns her head slightly to the girl.

"Lily…a good girl did not curse on others." She said with good intention. Knowing that Lily is quite 'advanced' on her word. But, as she was still a child, it's not a good thing to say.

"Um...Sorry.." Lily said as she just realizes that she was with an a.d.u.l.t, and usually, she didn't act like this in front of them. She always put on a facade as a good little girl. "I was too distracted."

She was indeed distracted by Sky's skills.

Patting gently on Lily's head, Caitlin smile at her, saying, "That's okay..but please don't curse again. I know you're a good little girl." Lily nods her head to agree with Caitlin. 'Yes, I know I'm a good girl. If not, how could I hide the fact that I'm a genius until now?'

Continuing to decode the meaning, suddenly, the secret chat box has been shut down and erased from its trace. Luckily Lily already copy all the extended code into her personal drive. At least she can still decode it without much problem.

However, from the way she sees it, the one who got out of that situation is probably Alex, and the one who stays behind is Sky. But why? Why did Alex got returned home while he still there? Somewhere where she didn't even know the whereabouts.

It's been a minute when Lily stares at the screen without doing anything. Well, she does do something…but more like she was thinking of a strategy.

"Um..agent Flynn..may I ask for your help?" Lily finally said before she turned to the man. Hoping that he agrees to help her find a way to find someone.

"You looked so serious, what is it?"

"I need you to find someone. But…to find that guy, you have to tail someone." 

"And…who is it that I need to follow?" Flynn scrunches his eyebrow a little. This might breach his work to do something against his work line. It's like being a double agent. What if he gets caught?

"Umm.." Lily looks at Caitlin first before she glances at the robot who has Alex's face. "It's…James Wayne."

"What?" Flynn and Caitlin both look a bit shocked. Why would Flynn need to follow that old man?

"Yes. It's the Wayne."

"But, to find who?" Caitlin interrupts. She also a bit worried about letting Flynn go and follow someone from Wayne's clan. Last time he did, he almost got killed. Oh, right...he jumps into the ocean by himself at that time.

Pointing her finger to the robot, Lily said again. "Him."

"Huh??" They both totally dumbfounded while looking at 'him.'

Sighing, Lily went to the back of the robot and showed them Alex's new creation. "The real him is probably with James Wayne. He probably hid him somewhere. I'm not sure as to why he hid Alex. But, one thing for sure is…he means harm to that little boy since Alex is…Raymond Wayne's son."

"Uh…wait, wait. So, Raymond had a child, huh? With whom? Sarah?" Caitlin was a little surprised, and if it's true, Alex is the son of Sarah, then what should she do? That poor little kid is probably her nephew. 'Oh, my god...'

"Pfft!! What?? No! Of course not.." Lily holds her laugh. That reaction of Caitlin is so amusing. "He's Uncle Raymond's son with my mama. I mean, the one who raised me since I was a baby. Luna Robert." said Lily earnestly.

"Luna Robert?" It's Flynn turned who got a little surprise this time. "Are you sure? I think…I've met her before. I look up at her profile too."

"Yes, I'm sure. I know you guys probably got confused. But don't get too surprised. It's all connected, and it's all happened five years ago. That is why…we, I mean…me has been working on finding the evidence on Kiera's record from five years ago."

"Hmm. Now, I can see the dots," Flynn said, looking at Caitlin, who was staring at him. Asking who this girl is?

Smiling, Flynn caress on Caitlin's cheek. "She's a girl I help before, remember? I was a little late return to the base last time."

Caitlin tries to remember back, and she finally understands it. "Ah…yeah...I think I remember it."

"So, are you willing to help me, agent Flynn?" Lily tries to make a cute face, but it only makes Flynn chuckles at her. Not affected at all by her cuteness.

"Even if you didn't ask, Luna is my friend. I'll help her to find back her son. So, you don't have to worry about it. What I need now is a starting point. Do you have any clues?"

"I think.." Lily turns her body, facing her laptop again and try to find something. "Maybe you should start at Nevada. The signal I receive is around somewhere at the cities." it's a tracker on her card she gave Alex on the night of the attack. Well, at least it comes in handy in this kind of situation. 'Why didn't I think of tracking this item when they both still at the same place?'

Flynn looks at his watch before he looks at Caitlin afterward. "Can you cover up my back for a while? I'll be back in a week," he said, and Caitlin nods her head.

"Go. I'll cover up for you. But…only for a week. We have to find a new home soon." She reminds him and also boosts him up so that he could finish his work early.

"I promise you, a week it is." he landed a kiss on Caitlin's forehead and head to the door. "Uh…Princess Lily…do you want a souvenir?"

Shakes her head, Lily smile and says, "No, thanks."

Just when Flynn wants to twist the doorknob, Lily suddenly remembers something. "Uh, wait.." she then runs to the room and fetches something under the bed.

While dragging another robot, which is the size of a little boy, Lily sets a new setting behind the robot's back. "Take him with you, exchange it with the real Alex."

"Huh??" Flynn was a bit dumbfounded.

"I don't want to alert that man that we already have the real Alex. He should have this one." Lily smiles at him and pushes the robot who looks exactly like a human being to the man.

"Whoa…so, you want me sneakily retrieve Alex? I thought you want me to attack them brutally…" He chuckles before he looks at the robot. Mesmerizing with her work. Really smooth and look so real too.

"Well, no…but, please be careful. After all, you're agent Caitlin's precious person. I don't want her to be sad anymore." Lily said honestly from her heart.

"He'll be fine, Lily. He's tough, you know." Caitlin, who suddenly walk to them, said with a smile on her face.

"Yup. I'm adamant."

"Then.. see you next week?"

"See you next week."
