Chapter 291 - My Own Escape Plan

Seattle, Washington.

Rustle! Rustle!

Lily's squinting her eyes while looking at the bush that looks a bit fishy. It keeps rustling like there's some wild animal around it. Suddenly, when she tried to get close to it, Alex's head pops out from behind the bush with leaves and dirt on his hair. "Eh?"

"Alex??!!" Lily almost screams the moment she sees Alex. To her surprise, it's not a replica but the real Alex! She cupped her hand on her mouth.

"Lily!" Alex's eyes brighten, and he opens his arm widely before the girl jump on him. Hug him and start to sniff a bit. "You make me worried, you stupid! You! I will never forgive you!!"

He giggles and pats on Lily's hair. Happy to see her again. "Alright, alright! Stop punching me! My body is totally burned out, and I'm so tired." he holds both of Lily's hand before he sat down on the ground. Heave a sighed.

"Right! Where's agent Flynn?" Lily look around them, and she can't find the man in question at all. Flynn only reports to her that he succeeds in his mission, but didn't tell the exact time when they both will arrive at the mansion.

"Uncle Flynn? He said he can't risk himself to enter your territory without your dad's permission. So he could only open the path for me to enter the maze garden." Alex said and patted his pocket before he took out the important thing to save Sky. Lucky that Lily mentions about Flynn and it also reminds him about Sky.

"Really?" Lily turn her body to Alex and saw something that she recognizes. "Is that.."

Alex nods his head and gives the card to Lily. "Sky left me with this. I think he does something inside the card, but I can't open nor access it."

Took the card from Alex's hand, Lily try to open it and tap on the small keyboard after attaching all the card pieces. "Do you remember the place you've been kidnap to, Alex?"

Alex shakes his head. "I don't know, Lily. The whole place was covered with snow. But, there's a big manufacturing building that makes um…illegal weapons, labs, and I think its kinda like underworld business place."

Scrunching, Lily look at him with shock, "Are you serious?" and again, Alex nodded his head. "Sky is in a bad situation the last time we separate. Please…do all you can to help him, Lily. You're the only hope he has right now."

Lily averted her eyes back to the screen. "I know. I'm trying to locate him right now. I'm so glad you're home, Alex. Really." She holds Alex's hand before she gasps afterward.

"What? What is it?" Surprised by Lily gasp, Alex spring up and look at the screen too. It was full of information that he didn't catch on, but he also recognized faces on the screen.

"Them?"

"You know them?" Lily asked.

"Yeah! They are the people who kidnap us!"

Lily looked back at the screen, "Hmm...I got it." she mutters slowly and works on the details. Everything about the people in the record that Sky provides her has been sent anonymously to the CIA. With their help and holes that Lily put inside the CIA's data center, she could trace if any of them can spot the people from the record faster than she has to work alone.

Thud!

Alex falls on the ground.

Lily was so shocked that she put the gadget on her side and shifted to Alex's body and shakes him a few times.

"Alex?? Alex?? What's wrong with you?" Lily tries to wake him up, but not long after, she could hear a faint snore from him, and she sighs in relief. Even though she still a bit panic because of him!

"Dammit, Alex! Why you have to sleep now?" She flicked on Alex's forehead before she continues to do her work again.

Like usual, there's no one in the maze garden, and the robot that used to be Alex's replacement has been shut down and hide since the real Alex is here right now.

She plans on sitting there until Alex wakes up and starts to do her hunting location once she returned back to her lab. There must be a way to wake up Kiera that has been sleeping for days now.

Somewhere around the snowy mountain,

"What are you doing, son?" Curtis walks into a small room that Sky demand last night. He said he wants to set up his own computer room to do what he requested. He said he'll be more comfortable doing all the things he wants without so many people looking at him.

And without hesitation, Curtis agrees and instructs his men to prepare anything that Sky wants. Everything. 

Today, he feels a bit curious as to why Sky didn't show up at breakfast time. He even cooks another delicious meal for him.

But, his assistant reporting him that aside from doing the hacking work, Sky has been doing something suspicious too inside the room. Thus, he was here to randomly check on his 'new' son activity.

"Oh, dad? Good morning.." Sky smiles widely to the man who is standing at the door frame. Curtis then replies with the same gesture as him.

"So…" Curtis's eyes wander around the room. It's like what his assistant said. There's a lot of odd things inside the room aside from the computer and high tech equipment for hacking.

"What is that? On your hand?" Curtis eyes back to the boy and pointing his index finger on the small tube that Sky was holding. 

"Oh, this?" Sky raises his hand, holding a glass tube of a new solution he just creates. "This is a new drug that will make you rich, dad." He smiles evilly, which then Curtis squint his eyes a little.

He didn't believe Sky's word as Sky also know the meaning behind that 'dad' gesture. "You want me to prove it?" Sky starts with the question, which makes Curtis smile. 'He doesn't believe me, didn't he?'

He praises Sky's boldness inwardly. This little boy sure didn't scare him at all—an excellent choice to be a leader. Never fear anything.

"Good question, son. Show me what your new drug can do that will make your handsome 'dad' more wealthy." He glances at his assistant before the man pulls out a chair for Curtis to sit down. Like a king, he crosses his finger together while patiently waiting for Sky to show him the new excitement.

"Sure. I just need a 'lab rat.' Anyone?" Sky's turned his head to the bunch of the bodyguard, who was standing behind Curtis and the assistant guy. All of them look a little terrified when Sky is smiling cutely at them.

"Well? No one??" Sky sighs and pulls off his gloves before he takes off his goggle. "Well…maybe I should just test it by myself since my dad's people are all 'chicken.'"

Curtis's pride was a little hurt by Sky's word, and he snaps his finger, insisting that one of them move forward. If not, they might be massacred by Curtis's assistant.

"Son, don't be too impatient. I can't risk losing you, my dear."

One of the men from Curtis's bodyguard finally moves forward, and Sky happily gives him the glass tube on his hand.

"Here, drink it. It might taste like alcohol at first, but then…you'll be much in pleasure after only a few minutes. You'll fly high to Utopia. It's much stronger than the one that you produce in your lab." Sky told the man the description of the drug that he makes even though he never know how the alcohol taste because he was only six years old.

Hearing those words make Curtis giggles. "You're not like a child at all, son. Such a waste you have to stay in that little body of yours, eh?"

"Dad..you flattering me." He smirked. 'Crazy asshole..I'll never be your son! Not in this life nor ever after.'

As the man drinks the drug, Sky waits patiently for the result. He may good in technologies and programming, but don't forget that his real dad is a damn good professor. The latter creates the next Gen-X mutation after Lisa passed away.

So he actually also learn the chemicals reaction between things and microbiology when he had free time. He used to roam and play around his dad's labs when he just three years old. And of course, under Harry's supervision, his mother was busy with his other siblings, and his dad was busy with work.

So, literally, he just not only a nerd who knows how to hack the computer, but he also knows how to actually 'kill' people using his knowledge. 'Just wait, I have my own escape plan too.'

A few minutes went by, and finally, Curtis claps his hand loudly. Seeing the outcomes from the creation, he was enjoyed.

The bodyguard who drank the drug already in his own 'Utopia.' He showed the perfect symptom of someone in pleasure before sleeping like a log on the floor.

"He looks like he was indeed in the Utopia." 

"Of course, I've told you..I'll make you rich, dad." Sky smile contently before he glances at the guy who is still doubting him. It's none other than the assistant guy.
