Chapter 296 - You Can't Die Yet

Alaska,

Caitlin turns off her comm before she turns around and looks at her squad. "Move according to our plan. Use the floor plan that each of you just receives to retrieve any hostages and human slaves and bring them out using the escape plan we're already laying out before. We only have at least one hour before our back up team arrives. So, please…stay alive until then."

After the squad nods their head, they start to move inside the building. Caitlin then turns on the comm between her and Flynn. "Flynn, are you in your position?" She asked as she worried about him. Even though this is not the first time they went into mission together, but this time..the feeling is different than the last time.

"Yes, Cait. My team is going to invade from the north point. I'll go straight to Sky's place. I'll see you later, don't get hurt. Okay?" He warns her as he also worries about her.

"You too..don't let them kill you. I'll see you later, Flynn."

A few minutes earlier.

Sky humming while swinging his legs. He's actually is in a tight position where Curtis was sitting in front of him, tapping his finger on the desk while looking at the big screen.

The assistant guy standing still next to Curtis and five of the bodyguard standing behind Sky is ready to point their gun to Sky's head. If anything went wrong, he'd lose either one of his body parts or head. He hated it when he had to act cool while he's shaken inside.

He tries to calm himself down by humming and swinging his legs to not show them that he's scared. He swears if he ever returns home again, he will hug his father and mother. He misses them so much right now! Especially his Uncle Harry.

Beep! Beep! Beep!

The alarm sounds from the computer make Sky flinched his body. He immediately sits straight up and types something on the keyboard. He could feel the intense gaze from his so-called 'dad.'

"Is something wrong, my dear son?" He asks with his cold voice, which makes Sky shudder a bit.

"Nothing. It just an alarm triggering the bank's security. I've turned it off." Sky said casually and crack a smile for the man.

Squinting his eyes, Curtis then turns his head back to the screen. As Sky said, there's nothing with the figure which keeps raising that shown on the screen. However, the assistant guy looks like he didn't buy what is shown on the screen. He has been long eyeing Sky and his behavior, to be honest, he is never fond of that little brat.

Sky has secretly sent something to Lily. It was the real-time footage from the building. It seems like his drug is also working just fine. Looking at the screen, he suddenly chuckles softly. He never thought that Lily will be able to create something that can penetrate all of his attacks. On top of that, she can blend her virus among his and make it impossible to track down.

Even without she does so, he already prepares a backup plan to make sure that the money did not flood out. All he does right now in front of this guy is just a 'mirage.'

"What's so funny?" Curtis turns to him again, which Sky immediately shakes his head. "No, I was just happy..we're rich now."

The word coming from Sky makes Curtis smile widely. It somehow looks eerily rather than look good. "Heh, I'll treat you to a good dinner tonight. How about rare moose meat I just hunted yesterday?"

'Wow! Did this guy said he hunt the moose?' The moose in Alaska is quite famous for outnumbering bears from three to one. They are quite aggressive and dangerous. They even wounding people from five to ten annually!'

'Does it mean that this guy really a monster? Wait, even the beast would be afraid of him. He also eats people!' Clearing his throat, Sky slightly nods his head. "Thanks. Sounds delicious.."

Now, half of the people inside the building, especially Curtis men, probably had been drugged by the water he exploited last night. If his calculating right, then…the team sends by Lily also has been starting to invading this place.

'It just a matter of time.'

Knock! Knock!

Curtis turns his head to his bodyguard, and the man opens the door for him. 

"Master! Master…" Someone barge in a hurry with his pale face and breathing a little too fast.

"Who's that lousy man? How dare he makes noise here." Curtis asked as he then glances at his assistant.

Without waiting for Curtis's next order, the assistant guy grabs the man's hair and pointing his gun on his forehead. "What's the ruckus?"

"The..fa..factory ha..has been in..invade!" the guy who is trembling on the floor pleading for mercy, but unfortunately, the assistant guy is not a merciful person at all.

He then pulls his trigger and releases the hair of the dead guy. Wiping his hand, which has a bit of blood traces to one of the bodyguard's suit. "Go and check. Do not come back if you're not terminate all of the termites who dare to sneak in this place."

Sky gulped, seeing the man who just dies in front of him. Thinking what if he's next. 

After the assistant guy gives the instruction, three of the bodyguards start to move out of the room and leave only two of them. Still pointing the gun on Sky's head.

"Why do you look a little scared, son? Is it your doing?" Curtis smile to him, which then Sky frown a little.

"Why would I do something like that if I can be rich, dad? Of course, it's not my doing. You're free to check on me." He averts his eyes back to the screen. It seems like the mirage he creates is still able to fool this guy.

'Well, let's stick around for another few minutes before the rescue comes.'

"Sure." Curtis then signals his assistant to do the check-up as the assistant then pushes Sky to get off from his chair.

He sat down on the chair and started to types something on the computer. It makes Sky a little bit of surprise. He thought that the assistant guy didn't know anything about coding, but he was totally wrong!

'Dammit!' Sky clench his jaws. If he found out about the mirage he creates, he's done for! He can't wait another minute to let the rescue team come and fetch him.

As the keyboard's clicking sound fills the room, Sky seems like he can't stay calm at all. He saw how that guy was trying to decode every code on his defensive firewall.

The firewall he made is entirely secure, usually, only his father's subordinate who can crack it even though it takes days to break it. And another one whose high level that can break it less then three minutes is Lily alone.

If this guy can crack it less then three minutes, then..he's done for! One by one, his wall has been broken, and the one left makes Sky suddenly nervous. His thumping heart could be heard right now.

"Why you look so relentless, son? If you do nothing wrong, you should not worry. My assistant won't do anything to hurt you." Curtis smirked. Like he was able to see through Sky's expression even though Sky has been hiding away, his appearance to not look like he was afraid.

"Hmph.." the assistant guy scoffed while glaring at Sky. Obviously, he won't let him alive if he finds something to point out his flaws.

"We'll see.." He looks back at the screen, and when he wants to tap on the enter button, someone suddenly kicks open the door.

Bam!

The situation in the room suddenly becomes chaotic and noisy with the shooting sounds, and people fighting, bone-breaking and smell of blood become strong.

Without waiting for any second, Sky immediately finds a place to hide. Yes! Under the desk!

Just when he was about to squat down, his hand has been grabbed by Curtis. "Wait!" he tries to pull his hand back, but then, Curtis grabs his waist and carry him like the bag of sand.

He lifts up his head and saw that a man who is a bit bulky is fighting with the assistant guy right now while the other bodyguard has been lying down on the floor, probably dead. 'What the hell? Where is the other team?'

"You can't die yet. My money transaction is still not complete." Curtis grit his teeth. He was surprised that his base is now under attack??

Who's the one able to find this place? He's been living there for more than two decades and no one able to track down this place and now someone actually able to find it?!!

'Ah…damn!' Sky hangs down his head. He didn't see anyone try to catch up with them right now. He also doesn't know about this place Curtis was heading to.

It seems like…he need to find another way to kill this Curtis.
