Chapter 302 - An Eye For An Eye

Harry's apartment.

"What's wrong with you? You look like you just get pissed." Sky asked while watching Netflix with a popcorn bowl on his hands.

"Hey, you.." Harry took the popcorn bowl on Sky's hand and put it at the coffee table. "You're still a patient in this house. Eat something properly like veggie or something." he glares at the boy and put his phone back to the sofa.

"By the way, Sky, your Uncle Raymond needs your help. He wants you to track down his wife and send him his wife's location." Harry said, and take one popcorn from the bowl.

Tilting his head, Sky scrunching his eyebrows, "That's weird. Did he fight with Aunt Luna?"

"Dunno. He doesn't sound like that." Harry shrugged his shoulder and glance at the boy. "You want me to get your laptop?"

"Eh? I thought I already lost my baby? Where did you get it?" he asked, and Harry smirked.

"Your baby, huh??" he stands up and walks to the room at the end of the hallways. A few minutes later, he brought the laptop and put it on Sky's lap. "Agent Caitlin, she gives it to me when she sends you to the hospital back then."

Harry said and continue again, "She said she found it along with the evidence they took out from that building, but because no one can access it, she assumes it was yours."

"Hmm. So nice of her." Sky turning on his laptop and insert his password before he can operate back his system. It's been days since he last does anything related to computers.

Cracking his finger, he smiles widely, "Now…baby…I miss you so much~" he giggling, and Harry squinting his eyes before he shakes his head. 'Weirdo.'

"Na-uh..you will only use it when you have an important mission. Other than that, you have to get a full rest. Your head and your finger too. Or I'll have to break one of them if you didn't listen to me." Harry warns the boy, and when there's no reply, he continues to watch the movie on Netflix.

"Put Alex on the phone." Raymond request, and later, he heard a chuckling sound from Alex.

"Papa? What time did you finish your work tonight? I want to bake a cake for mama." his cheerful voice makes Raymond sure that Alex is safe and sound.

"Baby..are you with Uncle Jamal at the zoo right now?" 

"Hm? Yeah! Mama said she wants to meet Daddy Brian at the downtown and meet us back at the park later." 

"She said that?" Raymond frowned. Confuse with the situation right now.

"Is everything okay, papa?"

"Yes, yes..baby. Stay close with Uncle Jamal, okay? Don't wander alone. I'll see you later, buddy." Raymond ends the call and rolls his phone screen again, finding Brian's contact number.

Ding!

"Sir.." Owen looks at Raymond, and Raymond nods his head. Still following Owen to meet this taxi driver.

But as they arrive in the lobby, the taxi driver is nowhere to be found. Raymond then looks at Owen. Thinking if this is only a prank. "Where is he?" he asked.

Owen also confuses, and he went to the counter, asking the receptionist lady. "Where's the taxi driver from earlier?"

"The taxi driver already left the building. We all thought that he does not need to wait here." the girl looks guilty. She really had no idea of what is happening right now. Did she make something a wrong decision by letting the taxi driver go?

Ruffling his hair, Raymond grunt before he makes a call to Brian. The line ringing but there's no answer. It makes him more anxious.

The third time he tries to call, finally, Brian picks up his call. "Hello?"

"It's me. Is my wife still with you?" Raymond cut the chase and ask Brian directly.

"Luna? No, why?"

"Did you meet her today?"

Brian scrunched his eyebrows and answered, "Yes. Three hours ago. What's wrong with that?"

"Did you notice anyone or something odd? Do you know where she goes after she meets you?" again, with the direct question from Raymond, make Brian turn a bit antsy.

"What is this about, Raymond? Why did-"

"Just answer me, you f.u.c.k.i.n.g bastard!" Raymond yelled, and a few workers who walk pass by him flinch their body because of his loud voice. Who would dare to make his boss yelled like this?

Sighing, Brian to hold his anger at the end of the line. "No! I don't know where she's gone because I left the cafe first. But, she did tell me about something odd, she told me, someone was sending her a text message. Unknown number, but I thought it was you. So I left her at that time. Are you f.u.c.k.i.n.g happy now??"

"Yeah, dammit!" Raymond said before he ended the call. 'Where are you, darling? I can't reach your phone.' He looks at Owen and asks the man to get his car ready.

As he was about to get inside the car, his phone suddenly rang, and when he saw the unknown number, he wants to ignore it. But then he remembers what Brian just said when he was meeting with Luna in the afternoon.

He picks it up and puts the phone on his ear.

"Son.."

The voice makes Raymond clenching his fist, "Where the hell are you, you f.u.c.k.i.n.g old bastard?"

James laughs when he hears those angry voices. "Here's the deal, son. I always teach you to make a decision in a tough situation, right? An eye for an eye, no? So..today I'll let you make those decisions. If you want your wife, then give me your son. I won't be waiting for too long. If you refuse to provide me with your son, I'll kill your wife. It's easy..I know you can tell which one is important to you. I know who you would likely choose. You always make the same choice after all. Hahaha."

"You!"

Click! The phone call ended before Raymond could say anything else. He feels like he wants to kills that old man right away. Not knowing where he should release his anger, he kicked the car's tire.

"Dammit! Dammit! Dammit, you f.u.c.k.i.n.g asshole!! Dammit!!"

Owen jolts his body and stays silent inside the car. He was too afraid to get out and calm his boss down. So he decides to wait inside and let his boss calm himself down first.

Another ringing makes Raymond almost throw his phone away. But as he saw it was Harry's number, he immediately pulls back his hand and answered it.

"Did you find it?" He asked and sounded like he's panting a little.

"It's me, Sky. I found the last signal from Aunt's phone, but it's quite far from the city, and the signal lost about two hours ago." Sky said. He knew something must have been happened as to why his uncle's breathing sounds so erratically now.

"Do you want me to keep looking?"

"No, check on my call logs, there's a number who call me just now, track that one down. And Sky...I need those evidence now." Raymond gives his instruction and gets inside the car while glancing at Owen, who looks pale at the driver seat.

He raises his eyebrow to him, asking why he looks like he wants to be killed? But Owen immediately shakes his head and starts the car engine.

"Mkay, uncle." Sky said, and they end the call.

"Um, Sir…where are we-"

"Stay silent and just focus on driving Owen." Raymond cut Owen's word before he makes another call. Owen immediately shrinks back and look at the front. Don't know to go where.

"It's me. I need your best guy and weapon."

"Now we're talking. Send me the location. I'll send my people there."

"Got it." Raymond put his phone back inside his pocket and open the car dashboard while Owen watched him silently.

His eyes turn wider as he saw Raymond took out a gun from a box, and not only that, there's a lot of gun inside this car! He reloads it all like he was ready to kill someone tonight.

The buzzing sound from Raymond's pocket makes Owen back to reality. He glances at his boss, and his boss raises his eyebrow a little.

"Headed to the Wayne hangar. We're going to Buffalo right now." Raymond said, and Owen's eyes grew wider.

"Buf...Buffalo?" Did he mishear it? It far from New York and it took about two hours to go there by airplane.

Just how did Luna was there? Is someone kidnaps her here and in short of time she already in another city??

Raymond did not reply to Owen's question as he then sends the text to Brian and let Liam know about where he's going. He also asks Jamal to protect Alex no matter what. Tighten the security in their radius until he's back.

If the blood that his father wants, then fine..he's ready to give him his. There's no way he would send Alex to that f.u.c.k.i.n.g old man. And of course, he will not let Luna hurt too. 'That bastard asks me to choose, didn't he? Fine..I'll decides to just kill you then.'
