“Yes,” Guderian replied with a nod. Then, he asked, “You humiliated Kaosin at the arena, right?”

“He had to pay the price for trying to frame me as an abuser.”

“Yeah, I agree,” Guderian said. Then, he added, “But Kaosin doesn’t think so...”

“Eh?”

“Kaosin is known to be very proud, so do you really think that he’s going to sit around and do nothing after getting publicly humiliated? It’s a no-brainer that he’s going to try and get back at you. In his eyes, it doesn't matter who was right or who was wrong. All he cares about is himself and his own feelings.”

“Ah, I see...” Siegfried muttered. He finally understood what was going on. It was still unclear who fed the information to the Church of Osric, but the perpetrator behind sending the three Mercenary Kings after him was definitely Kaosin.

‘You’re dead,’ Siegfried gnashed his teeth and growled inwardly. He did not expect Kaosin to be capable of doing something so cowardly and despicable.

Siegfried looked at Guderian and asked, “So that’s everything you know?”

“Really? Then it’s time to die,” Siegfried said nonchalantly.

“W-What?!” Guderian exclaimed after seeing the +13 Vanquisher’s Grasp being raised at him. Then, he protested, “Y-You said you will spare me!”

“Yeah, I want to, but...” Siegfried replied. Then, he looked very apologetic as he added, “But I’ll receive a penalty if I don’t kill you before this barrier disappears.”

An alert notifying him of Grand Duel’s remaining duration popped up in front of his eyes.

Grand Duel was a double-edged sword that would impose a hefty penalty on him if he failed to defeat his opponent before the skill’s duration ended. Thus, Siegfried had no other choice but to kill Guderian before the Barrier of Victory was over, even if he wanted to spare the latter.

However, Guderian had no other choice but to believe Siegfried’s offer to spare him earlier. He was already at Siegfried’s mercy, so he had no other choice but to spill the beans in hopes of being spared.

Siegfried’s backstabbing ability had transcended into a higher realm. He could force his opponents to believe him even if they knew that they'd end up getting backstabbed. It was clear that backstabbing had already become second nature to Siegfried.

A Frozen Drake waiting outside the barrier roared and unleashed a terrifying freezing breath attack when Siegfried appeared from behind the barrier.

Out of all the things he could have stepped on, Chae Hyung-Seok ended up stepping on a landmine that Siegfried had moved and reburied.

“Wow!” Siegfried exclaimed, cheering in delight when the landmine detonated. Then, he ran as fast as he could while grinning from ear to ear. He felt like he was about to overdose on adrenaline and dopamine; the pleasure it brought was akin to him having a massive and intense orgasm.

However, his ecstasy lasted only for a short while, as he was surrounded by the Frozen Drakes and mysterious monsters. The Frozen Drakes circled in the sky while the mysterious monsters surrounded him on the ground.

“Sure, let’s go at it until one of us dies,” Siegfried muttered, flashing a sleazy smirk after seeing that Vladimir was still far away from him.

He placed down Blaze Field, shredding the Defense and Magic Resistance of the enemies around him.

Swoosh!

Shadow Hell was also placed down, shredding the Movement Speed of his enemies.

He was now armed with both of his trademark debuff fields and immediately started sweeping away his enemies.

A monster would get smashed to death in a single hit whenever Siegfried swung his +13 Vanquisher’s Grasp.

The damage he dealt could only be described as explosive, thanks to the fact that Blaze Field's level was pretty high. The Defense and Magic Resistance of the monsters were reduced by a whopping one thousand points, which made them succumb to the destructive power of the +13 Vanquisher’s Grasp.

Siegfried made quick work of the monsters on the ground before spreading his Black Crow Wingsuit open and flying toward one of the Frozen Drakes. He landed on the back of one of the Frozen Drakes and killed all of its riders in the blink of an eye.

Then, he placed himself right on the Frozen Drake’s head and used Machine Gun Smash.

The Frozen Drake’s lifeless carcass crashed to the ground at the end of the Machine Gun Smash.

However, Siegfried was not done yet.

‘One more!’ He immediately flew over to another Frozen Drake and smashed his +13 Vanquisher’s Grasp on its back.

“I’m going to kill you all!” Siegfried roared and activated the second stage of Overclocking. His figure then danced across the battlefield, leaving a trail of blood behind him.

The Adventurers were shocked at Siegfried’s display of power.

Chae Hyung-Seok struggled to his feet and screamed at the Adventurers.

“Go and rip that bastard to pieces!”

He commanded them to go fight Siegfried after casting his dark buff on them. His buff would leave the recipient exhausted or even die once it was over, but it was—without a doubt—a very powerful buff that would give them a massive boost in strength.

“You son of a bitch, Han Tae-Sung! You’ll never leave this place alive! Never! I’m not going to let you go!” Chae Hyung-Seok screamed at the top of his lungs, “You’re going to die here! This place will be your grave, Han Tae-Sung!”

“But I don’t wanna die~” Siegfried sneered in response. Then, he stuck his tongue out once again and said, “Whatcha gonna do about it?”

“Yo momma!”

“H-Hey, that’s a bit old...”

“You’re not really good at this, aren’t you?”

“Shut up! Shut the fuck up!” Chae Hyung-Seok screamed like a vengeful spirit after being embarrassed once again by Siegfried. Then, he huffed and puffed before saying, “Huff... Huff... You’re never going to get out of here. Nobody’s going to save you–”

It was then.

A surge of mana gathered in the sky, and a colossal magic circle manifested, spreading across the snowy ground.

Lights flashed all over the place as Adventurers appeared one by one.

‘Alright! Good job!’ Siegfried cheered and praised Night Stalker No. 16. He had given Night Stalker No. 16 the special mission of avoiding the enemy’s eyes and destroying the two remaining spatial distortion devices.
