On Sunday morning, when Lu Jingshen woke up, Feng Si was on the balcony talking on the phone.

Feng Si’s tone was gentle, as if coaxing someone. His gaze caught sight of Lu Jingshen coming out, and he smiled, saying, “I have to hang up. It’s time for me to work.”

Lu Jingshen glanced at him briefly and went straight to the dining room to have breakfast.

Feng Si followed him. He had already taken a shower, and there was a refreshing scent of mint shower gel on him, replacing the unpleasant alcohol odor from the previous night.

“No workout today?” Feng Si sat on a high stool and casually asked the person sitting across from him, who was earnestly eating.

Lu Jingshen didn’t lift his gaze. “I’ll play basketball later.”

Feng Si raised an eyebrow in surprise.

While Lu Jingshen was halfway through his meal, he suddenly seemed to remember something and asked Feng Si, “Have you done the pre-employment medical examination?”

Feng Si replied, “I did it last month when I joined the private jet company. Do I still need to do it?”

Lu Jingshen furrowed his brow. “Does it include an STD check?”

Feng Si responded, “You mean that? you think I have a questionable personal life and you’re afraid I might have some dirty disease that might be passed on to you?”

Lu Jingshen maintained his composure. “Do you have any?”

Feng Si almost burst out laughing. ” you’re worrying too much. I’m perfectly healthy. I didn’t know having a drink or going out with someone could give you a dirty disease.”

He tilted his head, looking at Lu Jingshen with a meaningful gaze. “If you say these things, I might think you’re actually jealous.”

Lu Jingshen ignored him, put down his chopsticks, and changed the subject directly. “After eating, put the utensils in the dishwasher.”

After saying this, he stood up to leave but was stopped as Feng Si grabbed his wrist and pulled him back. “Where are you going?”

Feng Si remained seated on the high stool, his long legs casually draped over it. He looked up at Lu Jingshen with a smile. “Did I hit the mark?”

Lu Jingshen calmly asked in return, “Why would I be jealous?”

His eyes were calm and composed, completely different from his almost submissive appearance that night when he was pushed to the extreme.

Feng Si assessed him, unable to help but wonder how genuine or fake Lu Jingshen’s words were.

After a brief standoff, Feng Si let go of his hand and mocked, “Oh, so I’m just being delusional.”

Lu Jingshen walked away with large strides.

At 8:30 a.m., they left together to go to a nearby fitness club. Lu Jingshen often went there when he had free time, but that day was the first time he brought someone along.

Lu Jingshen played squash while Feng Si sat against the wall behind him, seemingly disinterested.

As it turned out, when Lu Jingshen said he was going to play basketball, he meant the kind of solo energy release through squash. It didn’t seem strange at all. For Lu Jingshen, perhaps enjoying the time playing squash was the most relaxing time for him.

Lost in his thoughts, Feng Si considered that Lu Jingshen might have always been like this. Those three months in which he had been involved were probably just an unexpected derailment from his well-planned life.

“Bang!” The ball made a sound as it rebounded and landed. Lu Jingshen bent down, supporting his knees and gasping for breath.

Feng Si snapped out of his wandering thoughts and looked ahead. Lu Jingshen’s sports shorts clung tightly to him due to his movements, accentuating his alluring waist and hip curves. His legs were straight, with tense calf muscles, showing some slight tremors.

Feng Si smiled and approached, tapping the ground with his racket, casually teasing, “Is that it? Alex, your stamina seems lacking?”

Lu Jingshen didn’t respond. He walked to the side, drank half a bottle of mineral water, wiped his sweat with a towel, and then walked back.

Feng Si swung his racket, gesturing towards him. “Shall we play together?”

Lu Jingshen nodded. “Let’s start.”

Feng Si served first. He hit the ball forcefully towards the front wall, and it quickly rebounded back. Lu Jingshen reacted swiftly, stepping forward to hit it back with strength. The ball grazed Feng Si’s hand and fell to the ground, but he didn’t catch it.

Feng Si shrugged. “My hand slipped”

Lu Jingshen remained composed. It was only when Feng Si became serious that he no longer underestimated the person beside him. They played another round.

They went back and forth, a total of twenty shots.

Feng Si’s movements were fast and fierce, with tricky angles, as if he intentionally wanted to toy with Lu Jingshen. But LuJingshen calmly received the shots and countered. His skills were slightly better, causing some trouble for Feng Sì.

Both of them were drenched in sweat but still couldn’t determine a winner. In the end, Feng Sì threw his racket, saying, “Let’s stop here and take a break.”

Lu Jingshen returned to the sidelines to get another towel to wipe off his sweat. Feng Si swiftly took a step forward and grabbed the towel from Lu Jingshen’s hand, helping him wipe the damp hair behind his ears.

Lu Jingshen was momentarily stunned, and Feng Si had succeeded in his little scheme.

They were standing too close, and the heat radiating from their bodies after the intense exercise was hard to ignore, not to mention Feng Si’s restless hand now gripping Lu Jingshen’s earlobe.

Feng Si smiled, rose to his feet, and casually remarked, “We’ve been playing for two hours. Shall we go take a shower?”

Lu Jingshen’s throat tightened. “Hmm.”

There were only three shower stalls in the bathroom, and the innermost one was already occupied. Lu Jingshen took off his shirt and walked into the outermost one. Just as he was about to close the door, Feng Si squeezed in and explained with a smile before Lu Jingshen could furrow his brow, “The middle showerhead is broken.”

Lu Jingshen coldly stated, “You can wait until the other stall is free.”

Feng Si lowered his voice and whispered in his ear, “I’m afraid it won’t be finished in a short while. Listen.”

Lu Jingshen’s ears suddenly itched, and he was about to push the person away when he suddenly heard other sounds—intense impacts and intermittent gasps and moans—covered by the sound of water.

Understanding what it was, Lu Jingshen was instantly speechless.

By the time he snapped out of it, Feng Si had already locked the shower room door and turned on the water.

Lu Jingshen leaned against the wall, his whole body soaked, while Feng Si still whispered in his ear, laughing softly, “Alex, would you like to give it a try?”

Lu Jingshen gritted his teeth, devoid of any grace, “Get out.”

But Feng Si wouldn’t listen to him; he forced him to indulge in those vulgar thoughts.

He grabbed Lu Jingshen’s hand and asked the same question as when they were playing squash, “Do you want to play together?”

Through the mist of water, it was hard to discern Feng Si’s emotions, but Lu Jingshen instinctively felt the danger. Yet, it was as if he had been enchanted. From earlier until now, Feng Si could easily ignite the fire within his body.

Finally, he mumbled out the same word as before, “Hmm.”

Feng Si’s hand slowly caressed down his toned chest.

The nearby sounds had stopped at some point, and then footsteps gradually moved away.

The two of them had no time to spare as they succumbed to their instincts, descending into the abyss of desire.

It was already noon when they left the club, and they went to a nearby restaurant for lunch.

While Feng Si was looking at the menu, Lu Jingshen became absent-minded, looking at his own hand. It seemed that the sensation from before still lingered in his palm, furrowing his brows involuntarily.

Feng Si noticed his actions when he raised his eyes and taunted him, “What are you staring at your hand for? Can you make a flower appear by just staring?”

Lu Jingshen immediately tightened his fingers, but the person across from him still had his gaze fixed on the menu, as if he had made a casual joke.

Lu Jingshen ignored him, picked up the teacup, took a sip, and gradually calmed his emotions.

This time, he couldn’t use being drunk as an excuse. Feng Si pleased him, and he pleased Feng Si. He could have refused, but he didn’t. He succumbed to his bodily desires, and perhaps Feng Si did too. They didn’t kiss, and there were no other intimate actions beyond helping each other release. That was all.

Lu Jingshen lowered his head and looked at his phone. Lu Chi Xie had just sent a message, reminding him about the plane. They were going to use it the day after tomorrow.

After replying to Lu Chi Xie, Lan Jingshen calmly explained the situation to Feng Si. Feng Si had already finished ordering the dishes and leisurely took a sip of water before speaking again, “you’re lending the plane to someone else and also lending me out?”

Lu Jingshen said indifferently, “Lu Chi Xie and the others are going out to have fun as part of their vacation, and it seems to suit your liking. After all, you also like to have fun.”

Feng Si said, “It seems like I can’t refuse?”

Lan Jingshen replied, “You can’t.”

Feng Si sneered, “Fine, I’ll serve whoever Mr Lu wants me to serve. After all, I’m receiving such a high salary from you.”

Since he had agreed, Lu Jingshen didn’t say anything further. The dishes had been served, so he picked up his chopsticks.

Feng Si looked at him and suddenly asked, “You just said that the person your younger brother is going out with is his boyfriend? So, your younger brother found a man?”

Lu Jingshen’s chopsticks paused, and his voice became muted, “Their relationship has nothing to do with you.”

“It has nothing to do with me, but does it have something to do with you?” Feng Si smiled ambiguously. “Your younger brother dares to find a man, why don’t you?”

Lu Jingshen’s face turned cold, “My affairs also have nothing to do with you.”

Feng Si said, “If your affairs have nothing to do with me, then what about us? Are you planning to pretend to be oblivious about what happened in the past?”

That wasn’t the first time Feng Si brought up the past, and Lu Jingshen couldn’t avoid answering any longer.

“… If you insist on bringing up the past, then I’ll make it clear. I didn’t want to tell you my real name and background back then. I thought we were just chance acquaintances, a fleeting encounter. That couldn’t even be considered as breaking up, so there was no need to mention it. I thought someone as carefree as you wouldn’t cling to the past, and you didn’t seem like someone who would still be hung up on the same person after seven years. Bringing up the past now serves no purpose.”

Lu Jingshen spoke more words than usual, but his voice lacked warmth. Feng Si’s eyes turned cold as well, and even a hint of anger appeared in his eyes.

“So, you’ve had a few casual encounters since then?”

Hearing his ambiguous tone, Lu Jingshen became annoyed, “No.”

Feng Si said, “In the past, it was a casual encounter. What about now? What do we call it now? Friends with benefits?”

After a moment of silence, Lu Jingshen replied, “Think whatever you want.”

Feng Si sneered, “The kind of person who sneaks around in secret and kicks me away when you get bored, is that what you are?”

Lu Jingshen said, “What exactly do you want to say?”

“Lu Jingshen,” Feng Si pronounced his full name, “I won’t play the same game with you a second time. I will be the one to determine the rules of this game this time.”
