C16 – Lose Weight
It was a sunny day for several days. The snow on the road was only a thin layer, and it was colder when it turned into snow than when it fell.
Yin Xu was laughing too much just now, and had a bellyful of wind. When he arrived, he immediately jumped off the horse carriage, and walked in while rubbing his face.
As the weather was cold, there were very few people on the streets, and the small teahouse business was naturally deserted. When Yin Xu went in, there was only a table full of customers.
The two men sat with their backs to him, cloaked in mystery.
Yin Xu turned around and glanced at the two horses tied up outside the tea house.
Because there had always been war in the Northwest, Dazhu had very strict control over the horses. Most people could not buy them even if they had money. From the looks of it, these two’s horses were definitely not ordinary goods.
The owner of the teahouse was an old couple. When they saw that a guest had come in, they hurriedly greeted him. They served him a pot of hot tea and asked, “Would you like a bowl of hot mutton soup, Young Master?”
Wu Sheng’s eyes lit up when he heard about the mutton soup. Afraid that the young master would not agree, he ran over and looked at him eagerly.
Yin Xu glanced at him, “Bring me two bowls, and cut another plate of beef.”
“Alright, I’ll be there shortly!”
Wu Sheng sat down next to the bench, and asked puzzledly: “Young Master, do you want some meat?” Was the meat that had been banned for over a month finally unbearable?
Yin Xu did not care about him. The reason why he did not eat meat was because there were too many impurities in the meat here.
However, he also discovered that the mortals’ bodies were unable to keep up with their mental and physical strength for a long period of time, so he was prepared to adjust the recipe when their body weight returned to normal.
“Then isn’t the Loong’an Temple crowded with people now?”
“Of course not. I heard that the Loong’an Temple has been sealed by the government. Outsiders are not allowed to enter or leave, it seems that some big shot has arrived.”
“Young Master, should we go take a look?” Wu Sheng, who was still a child, wanted to move forward when he heard something interesting.
“Go, why not?” That’s what he was after.
“Then let’s go. The sky is getting dark so quickly. If we don’t go now, we’ll have to catch up with the night.”
Yin Xu stared at him and scolded him: “Who told you to drive a carriage like a snail?”
“Hee hee ...” Wu Sheng laughed awkwardly.
They left twenty cents and walked out of the teahouse one after the other.
Before getting on the carriage, Yin Xu turned his head to glance at the guest who had not turned around from beginning to end, and the corner of his mouth revealed a smile of interest.
When their carriage was gone, the two guests in the teahouse paid to leave.
“Mistress, it looks like the First Prince has arrived first.”
“So what?” The man’s voice was calm, with a hint of confidence, “You saw that person just now, does he really look like Huo Zhengquan?”
“Yes, if it wasn’t for the fact that he’s still young, this subordinate would have thought that I have seen a Marshal Huo.”
“Two Huo Family people came from a small Riverside County, so this matter is rather interesting.”
