Emily observes a black vehicle measuring 15x10 feet near the lake in the cave. She felt that she had never seen anything resembling that thing.
The object's shape is like a tube with curved ends, and the back has four thrusters. Emily also finds things attached to it that are very foreign to her.
"This is a design made by lord Vorn." Ayre followed Emily while folding her arms across her chest. "He was inspired by something in his world called submarines."
"Is it true that this can take me into the sea?" Emily asked, approaching the cockpit window at the front of the vehicle, which was made of a transparent purple material.
It looked like glass, but Nate said it was a new kind of ragmonuk metal.
"And like I said, this could turn into something more special." Ayre smiled. "It's amazing our team was able to build this in such a short time frame."
"You may come in, lady Emily." Nate, standing beside that vehicle, gives a thumbs up.
The supreme undead sighed, then looked down at her body, which was covered in a tight, deep purple bodysuit. "Do I really have to wear this? This shit is so uncomfortable."
"It's a procedure that Lord Vorn has set up," Nate responded. "If something happens in that vehicle, you can move more freely in the water with that outfit."
"Whatever." Emily pulled a lever on that vehicle's door to open it. As she got into the cockpit of that thing, she squeaked. "I feel naked would be better. The middle of my ass became uncomfortable because the folds of this outfit were always tucked into it. My nipples also stick out."
Nate glanced at Ayre, who spoke silently. "Don't worry, the outfit is already good."
As soon as Emily closed the cockpit door, Nate's voice came from the dashboard of that thing. "The vehicle uses technology like that of Lord Vorn's flying bike. So, you don't need to overuse your magic power."
"That's good." Emily gripped the handlebars of that vehicle. "I don't need to lose any more hands. Did you know cleaning the asshole with baby's hands is really hard?"
"Are you nervous, Emily?" Xenora chuckled from the communication device. "You like to talk a lot, but usually not this much."
"Why are you here?" Emily grunted, then sighed. "Who wouldn't be nervous about something like this? Maybe this is the first time. Is there anyone else in this world who wants to explore the sea with something like this? Sometimes I think we're crazy."
"We will push that vehicle into the lake, lady Emily," Nate explained. "Turn it on as soon as it enters the water."
Emily sighed once again. "Okay, I'm ready."
The supreme undead could feel that the vehicle was advancing due to the push of the minotaurs and undead. It didn't take long for Emily to see water entirely through the window in front of her.
As Nate said, Emily pressed a button on the right handlebar. She could hear the roar of the engine after that almost instantly.
"For the initial stages, you better take it slow first, lady Emily." Nate gave instructions via the communication device.
The undead supreme pulled the throttle. That vehicle began to advance slowly.
Then, Rilla the mermaid swam to the window of that thing.
"Can you hear me?"
Emily frowned. Was Rilla the one speaking? But the mermaid didn't open her mouth at all.
"Yeah, I can hear you…. Is that you, Rilla?" Emily responded.
The mermaid, trailing that vehicle, smiled. "Yes, it's me. Wow, I was surprised myself. I can talk to you. I couldn't communicate properly before because there were no water creatures other than myself here. Sometimes I feel lonely."
"Moreover, Lord Vorn rarely sees you, right?" Emily chuckled.
"Who are you talking to, Emily?" Ayre asked.
"I can hear Rilla," Emily responded. "You said she could only communicate in water, right? And even then, she can only do it with fellow water dwellers."
"What?" Ayre sounded bewildered. "But the cockpit is basically not in the water…. Could it be that the frequency of her voice can be channeled into the ragmonuk metal?"
"I feel this is possible because of the material this is made of." Rilla joins in. "Ah, you are Ayre, right? Can you hear me? I'm Rilla."
"Yes, I can hear you," Ayre replied. "This is a great discovery…. Ah, but we'll talk about that later. We are in the middle of an experiment."
Nate then took over communications. "Could you increase the speed of that thing, lady Emily?"
"Sure." Emily pulled the throttle even more. However, the vehicle's speed did not increase. She repeated it again, but to no avail. "The speed is stuck, Nate."
"Well, that was expected on the first try," Nate responded, then paused for a moment. "How about you use the second mode?"
"Okay." This time Emily pressed a button in the middle of the dashboard. A loud humming sound came from behind the vehicle.
But it was followed by a loud bang, and the vehicle stopped.
"Looks like this thing broke, Nate." Emily glanced back. "Are we still going to continue the experiment?"
"Ah…. Can you bring that thing up again?"
"I will try." When Emily faced forward again, she widened her eyes.
There was a gigantic silhouette before them, probably around 30 feet in size and shaped like an octopus with many tentacles.
"What is that?" Emily hissed. She felt chills down her spine. "Are you always with that, Rilla?"
"No," Rilla answered, looking at the silhouette intently. "It was something unreal, just a kind of reflection. I've encountered that a few times but can't get across to you guys."
The silhouette suddenly disappeared.
"Reflection?" Emily Gulped. "What do you mean?"
Rilla stared at the supreme undead. "It seems they can sense that we are coming at them. So, they sent out some sort of warning."
"They? What…. Do you mean the Kraken? That creature can do such a thing?"
"This is just a guess." Rilla continued. "I haven't been in this world for long, after all. I don't have much experience."
Emily sneered, though she had goosebumps. "Well, bring it on, then."
