Chapter 116: Chun Ma (7)

The legendary 24th Lord of the Great Demonic Cult, the Demon God, Chun Yeowun. It had been over a thousand years since he had gone missing from the world.

‘How can this even happen? Is this true?’

The President’s enlarged eyeballs shook heavily from disbelief. At the current point in time, technology prolonged the average human life span from 90 to over 120 years. And amongst those powerful martial artists who had achieved a impossible feat, there about eight people within the Yulin Organization who were still alive at age of over 170 years old. It was a time where this kind of long life span was truly possible, but thousand years was something on another level.

‘And he looks just like as if he is…’

Twenty. Chun Yeowun barely looked like he was about twenty years old. This was not possible if Chun Yeowun had lived an immortal life until now. That’s when something popped up in the President’s mind.

‘I was told that the 24th Ancestor, the Demon God, was the last one to have achieved of becoming the Heavenly Master stage in Yulin history.’

The Heavenly Master stage. A stage where a martial artist reaches at the end of their journey to the best among the best. This stage was a dream for all martial artists, and were widely told that the one who had become a Heavenly Master stage warrior was given an immortal life for eternity, or they would become some sort of spiritual being. The President asked with a shaking voice, “Are… are you really the 24th Ancestor?”

“Do not make me repeat myself.”

The President felt goosebumps rising all over his body as Chun Yeowun spoke of the impossible. The President was almost thrilled by this turn of events.

‘How… how did this really happen?’

If this man was the true Demon God he was told of, then this man was his direct ancestor. The current Lord family line consisted of direct descendants to Chun Yeowun who had taken care of all forces outside the Lord’s Palace and cleaned up the Chun lineage.

‘If he really is the 24th Ancestor, then I have to behave!’

“Ugh…”

The President barely pulled himself up and bowed toward Chun Yeowun. He then shouted with a large voice.

“I, Chun Yujang, descendant of 24th… huh?”

But before he could even finish showing his respect, the President Chun Yujang’s body was pulled up, making him to stand at once. Chun Yeowun, while facing Chun Yujang, spoke with a cold look in his eyes.

“You may all rise.”

‘All?’

All officers within the room who were down on their heads became confused. But the words of Chun Ma was absolute. All of them hesitantly looked up to see Chun Yeowun.

“I am heavily disappointed by all of you.”

At the direct criticism, all men bowed their heads and shouted at once.

“Please forgive us, my Lord!”

There was no room for explanation. All of them felt shame as if they were like little children that made a mess. Chun Yeowun however, spoke to them with an even colder voice.

“Forgive? No, you do not deserve to be forgiven. Today, you will be punished for the price of destroying the Great Demonic Cult.”

‘Punish?’

At the word, all men changed their expression. Some became shocked, while some remembered of the President or their Lord in prison who shouted angrily about ‘punishment’ before. While most were confused, Chun Yeowun’s hand reached down on Chun Yujang’s left wrist.

“You are first.”

“A-ancestor…”

Chun Yujang swallowed a dry throat. Director Huan watched it unfold with worried look.

‘He’s still direct descendant… I doubt he will make a huge deal out of…’

“Aaaaaaaaargh!!!”

Chun Yujang screamed with pain.

‘?!’

All officers became shocked at what just happened. Chun Yujang’s left wrist dropped on the ground, detached from its body.

“P-president!”

“How can you do such thing?!”

Officers had not expected this outcome, so they were dumbfounded and shocked at once. But Chun Yeowun ignored their reactions and spoke to Chun Yujang who was agonizing in pain.

“First. It is a punishment given to you for destroying our cult, scattering our cultists and letting them become wanderers.”

“Nnnngh…!”

Chun Yujang looked up at Chun Yeowun with fearful eyes. He had readied himself for something as it was supposed to be punishment, but he had not imagined his hand getting cut off, so it was unbelievable that this happened.

“Lord Chun Ma!”

That’s when Director Huan Myungoh stepped out and knelt.

“This is too much! The President is still the leader of a faction within our cult, and your direct descendant!”

“HMPH.”

Chun Yeowun scoffed and waved his hand. With that, Chun Yujang’s cut off arm was thrown off and dropped at front of Huan Myungoh.

Huan Myungoh’s eyes shook as he looked at the arm. The arm was surrounded by coldness as if it was just taken out of a refrigerator.

‘It’s cold. Wait…’

In usual medical practice, the cut-out parts of the body were usually wrapped with rags, then put into an ice bag to preserve its state before it could be sewed back into the body. This was to lessen the damage of tissues on the cut area. Besides…

‘The cut is very clean.’

It looked like if Chun Yeowun just hacked the wrist off, but it wasn’t. Even if it looked like it was, Chun Yeowun was at the level of a master of swords that he can minimize the damage while slicing through everything.

‘He didn’t just cut it off.’

As he said, it was truly a meaning of punishment. If Chun Yeowun really wanted to cut the hand off, then he could have damaged the wound bad enough so that it cannot be sewed back. Huan Myungoh realized the intention and had to quiet down.

“A-ancestor…!”

Chun Yujang did not recognize this, so he was going crazy. His hand was cut off for the first crime, so he was terrified of what was coming to him for the next crimes.

“P-please! Forgive me!”
