"Who could have thought that the cocky bastard was alive? Making a move just when it is needed!" Lenny laughed some more.
Then again, such was the thrill of battle. Things never always went according to plan.
Surprisingly, this did not stop Hammer from chasing Lenny around the place.
A testament to the kind of mind she had.
Regardless of the chaos, she rampaged through the battlefield like a buldozer, clearing everything in her path.
Whether it was man or beast, it did not matter.
Lenny even made a jump over one of the beasts, but Hammer buldozered through it, ripping it apart like it was paper.
Soon, Lenny did not want to admit it, but in this field teeming with monstrous creatures, he found himself facing a formidable foe—a big, muscular witch with a malevolent grin.
She was actually catching up to him.
Just when Lenny was starting to be grateful that she did not have any range attacks, Hammer surprised him.
Her powers crackled around her as she unleashed a barrage of punches in the air that pumped against the air.
Only by instinct did Lenny dodge the attack.
Lenny was a skilled fighter, and he relied on his quick wits and agility.
As energy punches shot towards him, Lenny dove behind a massive boulder, narrowly avoiding the blasts that scorched the ground.
Heart pounding, he quickly assessed his surroundings, spotting the grove of twisted trees nearby.
With a burst of speed, he sprinted towards them, using their dense trunks to shield himself from the witch's magical onslaught.
The witch's chuckle, regardless of the drowning sound of chaos all around, echoed through the air as she continued her relentless assault, turning the very earth beneath Lenny's feet into a series of treacherous pits.
With each leap and roll, Lenny narrowly escaped being sucked into the gaping holes.
Drawing upon his knowledge of the monsters that now inhabited this battlefield, Lenny realized that some of them possessed unique abilities.
Spotting a group of what looked like luminescent insects, he swiftly snatched them up and hurled them towards Hammer. The insects released blinding flashes of light upon impact, momentarily disorienting her and buying Lenny precious seconds to regroup.
Thinking on his feet, Lenny reached into his storage unit and hurled a bunch of sharp blades at her.
However, Hammer proved formidable as she conjured a storm of fiery punch projectiles.
"Fuck it!" Lenny cursed as he fetched some sand from the ground and scattered the dust into the air.
The battlefield was too chaotic, and his opponent was bent on killing him.
He was definitely going to play dirty.
Applying some white flames to them before giving a swift turn in the air and throwing it, the dust swirled and shimmered.
Even though she raised her hands to block, she did not do so in time, and hot sand entered her eye.
"AHH!!!" She screamed as she became disoriented.
Her hands flared about as she tried to hit him, but without sight, this proved to be very difficult.
With a triumphant grin, Lenny seized the opportunity and lunged toward the witch.
Dodging her attempts to hold him, he closed the distance and swung a hammer from his storage unit. This was the other arm that belonged to Manta.
*Bam!*
It was a difficult blow to the head. But considering how she had been charging through things, it was most effective.
She staggered a bit.
Seeing it was effective, Lenny smiled as he jumped and sat on her shoulder.
*Bam!Bam!!Bam!!*
He struck again and again.
She tried to grab a hold of him, but it was fruitless.
Lenny chuckled loudly as he hammered more, and her head started to deform.
Weakened and disoriented by the continuous hits, the witch stumbled back. Lenny seized the moment; he punched into her big eye, and with a rough pull, he removed it.
"AHHH!" She screamed.
Summoning all his strength to end her, he activated white flames around his hand as he stabbed it through her eye socket and into her brain.
"Oh! You cooled off a bit. Let's turn up the heat... Hehehe!!!" He gave an eerie laugh as he burned magic points to release a fireball that blew off Hammer's brain.
"SISTER!" Minnie had witnessed the final moments before Hammer died.
She tried to dive in, but Ella got in her way. "I am your opponent!" She stated this as she fired Holy Arrows at Minnie.
Minnie waved her hand as she drew two monsters to take the blow for her.
*BOOM!*
Ella's arrows were unforgiving with their sting, exploding on contact.
These arrows were even bigger and brighter than before.
An extra advantage was added to her for wearing Arthur the monkey.
Minnie looked behind her at the blood moon. In a few minutes, it would be over.
Her eyes darted through the battlefield to see Ciri far off on the altar in the distance.
Ciri had just laid by the side of the invitation stone. Even though a lot of the energy accumulated had dispersed as a result of that episode she had with Athena and Hector, she could still savage the situation.
Immediately, she lay by the side of the invitation stone as a red hue surrounded her body. Slowly, it charged into her.
This process was delicate.
Once it started, Ciri would not be able to leave. After all, the process would be acting on her many souls, therefore disrupting their harmony.
Without harmony, the souls would not be able to take control of the body.
It would be her weakest point.
It was for this reason that she did not lie down until enough energy from the blood moon was accumulated.
Minnie frowned at this.
Teleporting a few times in the air, she arrived at the altar.
"Sorry to break your heart, but I'll have to take this." She removed the incantation stone from the altar, teleporting with it.
"No! Traitor. You broke our deal! You'll die." Ciri screamed.
However, Minnie could careless.
Lenny, on the other hand, saw this and rushed forward to stop her.
However, a holy arrow suddenly stabbed through his stomach...
