Mr. Martin sobbed heavily. His facial features were contoured by the significant reverberating pain that Lenny dished to him.

He had begged and begged, confessing his many heinous sins and swearing his repentance.

But Lenny did not stop. The inside of the head of a mutated human was like an undiscovered land to him, and like an explorer hungry for a voyage, he wanted to devour the depths of the knowledge it had to offer.

He did not see brain matter and liquid, but the true land of milk and honey.

In his exploration, the Satan System blessed him with points for the pain he caused Mr. Martin.

Every few minutes or so, he would get an alert from the Satan system, solely because of the pain he permitted Mr. Martin.

Meanwhile, that was all just background music for his ears. It was practically a theme song for the newly discovered land he explored.

One of the first things Lenny noticed as he explored the partially damaged brain was that many parts of Mr. Martin's brain were not like those of a normal person. Although this was expected as Mr. Martin was a mutated human, the differences were so great that it literally opened new doors to the existing knowledge he already had, literally helping him break through boundaries in his knowledge of neurology.

One of which was the fact that the centers for pain and pleasure, which were the Amygdala, the Pallidum, and the Nucleus Accumbens, all looked different from the norm. It was not just the oval-eggish shape that was normally known, but they had a hardness and roughness to them that made Lenny ponder a lot.

After all, the brain was made mostly of liquid, with the tissue part of it being very very soft.

It was surprising to see something like this hiding within the brain.

Lenny quickly attributed it to a more natural tolerance for pain and pleasure, but it was easy to guess that this allowed for less sensitivity.

It suddenly made sense as to why Mr. Martin could use his entire body in a fight, slamming and banging without a care in the world.

But at the same time, it also meant that he was a very difficult person to please.

It was no wonder he was having sexual intercourse with ten people at a time when Lenny and the others came into the warehouse. It was not that he was trying to be an asshole. It was just because he sought pleasure, and that was the only way for him to get as much as possible to feel like a normal person.

This also meant that his dopamine flow was very different. It was narrow and hard to pump.

Lenny could not help but wonder if this was the same thing for those mutants like Rhino Head and his brothers that he had killed.

It was just a pity that he could not compare them to one another.

It was at this time that Lenny noticed that the shape of the brain here seemed a bit different. Of course, he knew that Mr. Martin could change the shape of the cells in his body as he saw fit, but it was obvious that something was supposed to be at this particular location that was missing.

It was like a little pocket with evidence that some hard substance was supposed to be there.

"Hmmm!" Lenny thought hard about this.

A theory suddenly popped up in his head, and he decided to check it out.

He looked around the brain, and then he saw it. It was an oval pearl, small, silvery, and shiny under the light of the room. It was at the base of the left hemisphere. To his surprise, it was held to dangle out by a single thread of brain cells.

"Oh, so you can do that even though you are in pain, huh? I see you want to suffer some more."

"No! No!! please don't! I... I'm sorry," Mr. Martin pleaded. "I didn't want to, but... but that's my core. Without that, I'll... I'll..."

"Die!?" Lenny finished his sentence. "Trust me, there are things far worse than death.

Since you want to keep your core so bad, I won't touch it. I assure you, you will give it up by yourself."

By now, Lenny had spent hours into the night exploring different parts of Mr. Martin's brain. He had discovered a lot of things, and with the knowledge he had acquired, he was going to use it for another sector of assassination he had not explored in a very long time.

But before that, he was going to try one quick thing.

He carefully, with the precision provided by the Satan system, disconnected certain vital nerve endings and connected them invertedly. He mended them with an enzyme that weakened the cell manipulation ability that Mr. Martin possessed.

The moment he did, the melodic music of screams from Mr. Martin echoed through the suite.

It was so loud and disturbing that Vine, who had left, could not take it anymore and came back to check.

She found Lenny in a corner, nodding his head slowly as if he enjoyed the aggravating screams as he wrote what she was sure was a poem on the wall.

Clearly, the screams of Mr. Martin were the inspiration for this poem.

It surprised her that Lenny was not touching Mr. Martin, but he was still screaming in pain.

It was at this moment that she looked at the open brain and saw what he did.

Vine was a deep-level demon, and her eyesight was incredible. If she wanted to see microscopic organisms, it was not a problem for her.

She could see what Lenny had done, and it made her gasp. One look at her, and one would think that she had seen a ghost.

For the first time in her many years, she genuinely felt pity for a person.

How couldn't she? Lenny had...
