Chapter 865 The Hunt For Uriel
The presence of this person even before arrival made young Everbee hold on tighter to the guard carrying her. After all, this person arrived with a kind of intent so thick that the blood crystals around showed cracking sounds as if to burst open. She literally walked on air, showing her dominion over the forces of nature.
Her clothes, flowing behind her were emerald green, a beautiful contrast to both red of the blood crystals and the Black rough amour of the army she commanded. Her eyes were clear and crystal in nature, but she had a bold physic hinting at her physical prowess. She was not big and bulky, but her muscle definition was definite. In one hand, she had a wood staff as high as her eyes which had an emerald jewel. This emerald jewel at the tip spun continually with neither its base nor its its crown attached to any part of the staff. She had a head full of dark hair, braided in such a manner that it covered her ears perfectly.
Even though Lenny knew that he was only seeing through a memory, he could somewhat feel the power radiating from her.
On seeing who it was, Crystabel frowned as she made hand signs, communicating to Lamastu through sign language. "Lamastu! I see you have finally thrown your lot with the Abbaddon royal family. I thought you hated the royal families and only kept to yourself in the myraid planes. Or has your resolve weakened?"
lamastu smiled back at Crystabel, and then she opened her mouth to talk. Her words were a bit scattered, a result of her hearing impairment. A known punishment from thousands of years ago.
However, Crystabel had a stubbornness on her face. This was a stubbornness that only became stronger and bolder as her forces converged behind her. "Suite yourself. But know this. You cannot hope to defeat me, Lust demon! I am one who has peeled from the tree of knowledge itself." On saying this, lamastu waved her staff and a green light like water waves rushed from her body. However, these waves did not attack crystabel as she had prepared for the battle. Instead, they rushed into the Blood crystals on the ground, and then there was a loud rumbling sound. Crystabel looked behind and then she saw it. The Blood crystals broke and merged together forming giant golems that were fifty feet tall. They all looked like an extended image of lamastu. However, each one had long claws for hands. "Kill them all!" lamastu commanded. Three Golems that had formed rushed forward.
*GROWLLLL!*
Each one shaking the earth with its speed and loud growl as it rushed into Crystabel's army.
Crystabel looked behind at her army. The battle had began. She frowned. Those golems were not creatures one should look down upon. Each one of them was as deadly. However, these demons have long been tested for war. They knew how to break such a creature. Crystabel looked closely. No matter how much of the golems was broken off, its body would regenerate and even the broken out part would join the war effort on the enemy's side. Basically, the more they attacked the creatures, the more golems they had to fight. Right now, it did not look like much, but soon, she knew that her forces would definitely become exhausted. She turned back to lamastu. Her focus settled on the staff. She knew that if she wanted to settle this, then she needed to get that staff. Lamastu also saw her gaze, and gave a low chuckle, "if you want it, come and get it!" as she said this, she seemed to diffuse into the crowd of Abaddon soldiers behind her. As she did, her voice went out, "Kill them all, and bring me the fallen angel, Uriel."
*Urrrlllllll!* the army answered her cries as they rushed into the battle. Magic and cosmic energy blasted out in different directions. The chaos was a lot. Crystabel turned to the guard, "take her out of here! I'll hold down Lamastu and her forces." On saying this, she rushed for the black army. However, young Everbee screamed out, "Mama!!!" Crystabel took one last look at her daughter and then she rushed forth. According to what lenny had seen, that was the last time that Everbee ever saw her mother...n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
