Chapter 2651 Transporter
"It's a surprise that you could use karmic techniques."
Myria's eyes flickered before she returned her gaze to Nyx Godwin's corpse and took it into her spatial ring.
Davis's expression became calm. He knew she was talking about how he tracked her, and that was obviously using her severed hand. With karmic thread connecting the severed hand and her body, he easily found her.
Worried that something might've happened to her after her hand was severed, he followed the trail of the karmic thread fast, only to end up hearing that nonsense and witnessing the scene of Myria looting Nyx Godwin.
Honestly, he knew this was coming as that bastard had been strangely looking at Myria almost all the time. Judging by the state of Nyx Godwin's corpse, where it was uninjured, he could tell that she used reincarnation energy to finish him off. Otherwise, it would prove impossible for her to kill Nyx Godwin even if she used death energy.
"Are you not angered?" Nonetheless, he couldn't help but ask.
Although there was calmness, there was a sliver of fury remaining that someone dared to make a move on her. That feeling of responsibility was especially the case as he had lost her halfway while escaping.
"Such threats..." Myria stood up as she walked to him, "I've heard it countless times, but I have to say, it still has quite the weight when coming from an Immortal Emperor, so prepare to be hunted- no. Perhaps, you should stay away from me from now on."
She suddenly paused and narrowed her eyes at Davis, causing him to squint his brows.
"Ridiculous."
"I do not wish for Ellia to get involved in this matter."
"That's wishful thinking, as people already think you're sisters. There's no way out of this, and I'm not going to leave you alone either, so give up."
Myria stared at him for a few seconds before raising her hand.
"Give it back."
Davis looked at the severed hand in his grasp before it suddenly disappeared.
"I think I'll keep it to track you from now on. Knowing you, you'll disappear."
He chuckled and turned back, "Now, let's find a way out."
Myria blinked for a moment before her eyes squinted, "I'm not playing. Give it back."
Davis stopped, turning to look back at her, "If this a matter of virtue, then give me something else to track you. If not, I'd give this to your daughter and have her monitor you so that you don't leave one night-"
"Who's going to leave?" Myria interrupted as she waved her hand, "If that idiot comes to the Aurora Cloud Gate, he will be courting death."
"The Guardians?" Davis pursed his lips, pausing for a moment, "Perhaps, your in-name master might do so, but I wonder about the others. Even if they do all come to support you, your status as a Divergent that you stayed low-key to hide would be revealed. Are you fine with that?"
"It's going to be revealed at some point. It's only a matter of sooner or later, and I'm fine with sooner, even if it means having to face danger this early on."
Myria gestured with her hand again, still persistent on having her hand back that Davis couldn't help but shake his head.
"I'm not worried about the Godwin Family's retaliation. I'm worried that they would brand you as the source of the calamity again and unanimously hunt you down. Remember, if your existence threatens the safety of the First Haven World, no one would bother to listen to your story, and they would not rest until they hunt you down like we hunt these Unfettered Ice Fiends."
Myria's expression churned, "No. I-"
"And remember. That bastard gained access to our Grand Beginnings Continent through an immortal who had come from this First Haven World. For him to have done such a thing, it is possible that he has infiltrated the Heaven Gazing Sect that exists here, so I'm positive that they're merely waiting for you to reveal yourself before making a move, swallowing you in one gulp."
Davis's voice was forceful as he leaned towards her, "Even if you're going to be revealed, make sure you have the upper hand."
"…"
Myria's eyes flickered ever so lightly as she gazed at him. She knew this point as well. However, there was only half a meter of space between their faces, but that was enough not to let her focus on the current issue.
"You-"
"Big brother! I came to pick you up!">
Just as Myria pointed at his face, a flash of purplish-gray light appeared as a melodious voice of a cheerful woman echoed.
A spatial vortex appeared, and a purple-robed woman stepped out of it as her long purple hair fluttered, dancing along with the veil that hid her exquisite face.
Davis turned to look at her with shock as he looked at this youthful woman. Everything about her, her aura, her voice, and her behavior, was recognizable to him except her buxom figure that shook as she giggled like a little girl.
"Stella…"
Momentarily, he didn't know what to say to this little tree that had matured slightly.
Myria also recognized her as Stella Voidfield, a Void Dust Tree.frℯe????????????????૦ν????l.c૦m
Davis's eyes flashed as he smirked at Stella Voidfield.
"You were late."
"Hehe~" Stella Voidfield innocently giggled, "I've been caught, but I had no choice. After all, mother kept me inside for another few decades, but because of that, I'm so powerful that I'm now able to traverse this world by myself!"
"How did you find us?"
Davis raised his brows, wondering how fast Stella Voidfield's mother could steer time, or was it just the highest form of temporal formation available to them?
He couldn't tell but saw Stella Voidfield shrug.
"Well… that big sister with an icy sword said that you were around this area."
Davis nodded, understanding that it was Tanya. Since she refined the core of the Mercurial Blitz Ice Valley, she should be able to locate them using the core as long as they were within the region. However, if Tanya didn't come personally, then that would mean…
"Quick, take me back to the hive of the Unfettered Ice Fiends."
"I just came from there myself."
Stella Voidfield pointed toward her back, causing Davis to quickly pounce over it as he shot like a meteor.
Myria's expression changed. He ran away with her severed hand.
"That… man…"
She clenched her teeth as she glared at his disappearing silhouette, her body flickering as she also disappeared.
Davis appeared out the other end of Stella Voidfield's spatial vortex. He couldn't believe that she had such control over Space Laws. However, with Tanya's help in pinpointing their location, he could see why she could come to them so fast in this restricted zone without the danger of falling into the abyss.
Still, for Stella Voidfield to believe in Tanya, who had met for the first time, he wondered if she was naive or just had that much trust in him and his group.
*Whoosh!~*
Just as he stepped out and the scenery of the tunnel entrance registered in his mind, along with a few familiar faces who looked at him in shock, he turned to look at the hive and saw something that raised his brows.
The Unfettered Gargantuan Ice Fiend was still alive, alright.
However, a huge two-hundred-meter-long icy sword had impaled it, lifting it up. It seemed to be missing all its limbs as its giant body was hung like a display, but its six arms and two legs were regenerating at a quick speed.
However, just as it grew halfway to the elbow, eight icy swords suddenly sliced through the air and cut all of its limbs again.
Its giant limbs fell to the ground, causing a river of blood to flow.
"Oh… she's torturing it…"
Davis's lips twitched as he gazed at his Tanya. Was she making it suffer because it endangered his life?
