"Illegal participants? My fault?"
Davis looked amused as he gazed at Ralaza Heavenshade, his lips continuing to move.
"The latter may perhaps be debatable, and I could claim responsibility for it, but it's not like we entered accidentally. We were actually invited by you Transcendent geniuses. If I'm right, they must be from the Mistwalker Family of the Prismatic Dream Upper Realm."
Hearing his words, Ralaza Heavenshade shook her head.
"No young genius reserves the right to invite any power. Even if we take a step back, that right to invite is with the Astral Pill Upper Realm and Forgeheart Peak Upper Realm's disciples and not anyone else. After all, this opportunity is given by those two Upper Realms."
Davis blinked, "You talk well. I admit we are illegal participants then, so what do you think we should do?"
"The others may forfeit their right to compete and leave towards the shelter created by a group of Upper Realms."
"The shelter created and looked after by the Astral Pill Upper Realm? We already know that a large part of my group who followed me went there, but what about me?"
Davis pointed at himself, looking clueless. It caused Ralaza Heavenshade to narrow her eyes before opening her mouth.
"Going by how we deal with Anarchic Divergents, no matter the time and place, you have no choice but to meet the end of your life. Don't take it personally."
"..."
Davis tilted his head in amusement, shaking his head as though he wanted more explanation. As though taking pity, Ralaza Heavenshade sighed and moved her lips.
"As long we're righteous, we have the duty to rid of calamities. We, as cultivators, even try to stop natural disasters so that innocents can be saved, so what about you? Who's not supposed to be here in this universe, relentlessly hated, detested, and hunted by the heavens? How are we supposed to digest your calamitous existence when you could end us with your whims?"
"..."
Davis almost gawked. This woman was good with her communication skills. He knew she was truly young as she was also a famous beauty in the Azure Dragon Upper Realm, but she possessed the same vibes as the Celestial Transcendent, as though she could kill with mercy in her heart.
"True. However, do you truly expect me to just reach out my neck to you in a defenseless manner?"
"That's why we help you get rid of yourself."
"Thanks for the offer, but I will have to politely decline."
Davis cupped his hands with a blatant yet challenging smile, but she returned the same.
"Sure. You can decline as much as you want until you can no longer decline. Fairy Xiu Juili told me that you're somewhat reasonable and won't attack unless attacked first, so I'll let you leave this place, giving you enough time to escape our duty."
"Fairy Aila Cherryweave, have you made your decision?"
Ralaza Heavenshade then returned her gaze to the Celestial Fairy, but on second glance, she noticed the uncommon beauties behind the Anarchic Divergent. Because she only concentrated on the two of them, she hadn't seen them before, imagining that they could be his followers, but they also appeared to be too beautiful to be left alone, except she knew that most of them were his women.
She narrowed her eyes, unable to understand how these beauties with a bright future ahead of them could ruin themselves in this manner.
Davis couldn't help but be intrigued by this woman. Her mannerisms reminded him of Isabella back when they hadn't gotten together, appearing forthright, bold, and decisive. Despite her calling for his death because of her duty and acting like he owed her his life to her because she let him go, he did not wish to make a move on her if possible as he couldn't help but view her as a lost soul who was drunk in her own righteous phase although he couldn't really blame her as he would do the same if he was on the other side.
"Still, you're too arrogant."
"..."
Fairy Aila Cherryweave was just about to reply but heard an amused voice.
Davis realized that he was being stared at by everyone, including Ralaza Heavenshade, causing him to chuckle.
"Oh, did I say that out loud?"
"You don't know how to appreciate kindness."
Ralaza Heavenshade's voice turned cold, but Davis shook his head.
"You don't know who you're dealing with. I don't want to hurt you since you seem reasonable."
Davis took a step forward, "Move aside. I want to kill some people like you who boldly do vile things in broad daylight."
Ralaza Heavenshade narrowed her eyes. She didn't move from the place she stood as she stared at Davis, causing Davis to come to a stop in front of her. However, he took a step to the side and moved past her.
"Good. You shall not disrespect the Azure Dragons no matter the-"
Davis raised his hand to the side and backhanded her nape, the impact reaching all the way to her soul as it made her shudder. Her legs went limp, and she fell to her knees, but before her face could hit the ground, she abruptly struck the ground and jumped away as she gained distance from him.
"You! You dare sneak attack me!?"
*Whoosh!~*
With an offended screech, she launched herself at him, fire energy blazing into her fist as she pumped her fist back, unleashing it toward his head.
Davis didn't even turn around, only dodging as he moved his head to the right. An intense surge of azure dragon flames surged past him, almost incinerating his head. His hands reached up and caught her wrist, pulling her forward as he made her flip from the back and tried to slam her into the ground, but like a snake, she twisted her body and unleashed a flaming kick at his face again.
Suddenly, he let her wrist go, causing her to lose balance and miss his face by a slight margin, but like a whiplash, she twisted again and brought her other feet to his face diagonally, her long legs creating a beautiful arc of flames in the air.
*Ta!~*
The sound of skin slapping echoed as Davis caught the leg she threw at his face and spun her around once before she blazed with azure dragon flames, gathering all her energy in her fists as she clenched her hand and punched at him.
*Pahh!~*
His palm met her fist, abruptly squashing the tyrannical azure dragon flames that would've seared anyone at the same level, and even an Empyreal Monarch like Aric Stormsong would be critically injured.
"You're powerful, but you lack experience."
*Bang!~*
Ralaza Heavenshade only heard these words before she felt her world rocked in all directions as she was slammed into the ground. Blood flowed from her head as it stained the ground, but it was not at all a critical injury.
Still, her eyes shook as though she couldn't believe it. She lost in a close-quarters battle. She even used her azure dragon flames, but it was of no use. The flames should've incinerated his palm and let her punch through a hole in his palm and even cause his shoulder to explode, but it didn't even show any signs of trembling as though it was not a human hand.
Davis hit his hands as though he was dusting off trash before pointing a finger at her.
"You let a cultivator near you and even sneak attack you while you were in an alert state. I guess you haven't even experienced a single attempt on your life from an assassin, but I also guess that's understandable considering who in their right mind would dare to target a woman from the great Azure Dragon Upper Realm's Heavenshade Clan..."
He shook his head, waving his hand as though telling her to remain there before he took a step forward and continued to walk towards the Hexadras.
The three men narrowed their eyes as they finally recognized Davis to be a threat. It was also their first time knowing that he was an Anarchic Divergent, but they didn't seem to be worried at all as they smirked, appearing to wait for him.
"You understand and dare challenge us?"
Came a furious voice from Ralaza Heavenshade, causing Davis to stop in his tracks and look back.
"I challenged you, not your father or your mother. Don't you have any shame to be bringing them into this?"
"You!"
Ralaza Heavenshade clenched her fists as she sat up and flew in the air in two moves.
"Then I challenge you fair and square. Are you daring enough to face me at full strength?"
"I don't dare because I don't want to kill a child who doesn't know any better."
"How dare you insult me? I'm not a child."
Ralaza Heavenshade's pupils raged. She pulled back her hand, appearing to want to release a devastating attack on Davis as she began gathering an enormous amount of energy. However, Davis still looked unamused.
"Hush, little azure dragon. I admit you're powerful, but you're only sixteen years old. Still, I would've taken you seriously if you had found that there was a wolf on your head, its claws ready to stab your forehead in a single move."
"...!"
Ralaza Heavenshade's gaze shook the moment Davis said it. She felt a prickly sensation become more obvious on her forehead, making her freeze while the energy she gathered in her fist began to disperse or go back the way it came from.
On the other hand, Davis turned to look at the two men from the Heavenshade Clan that surrounded him.
"Move if you don't want her to die."
"..."
Reo Heavenshade and the other disciple heavily frowned as they saw a dark tiny wolf manifest on top of Ralaza Heavenshade's head, unable to believe that their Heavenshade Clan's three Kingly Monarchs were subdued within a few seconds.
