Chapter 3405 Setting Themselves Up

Chapter 3405 Setting Themselves Up

Some tried to stand up, but they couldn't resist Xerax's kingly aura.

With the Ancestors and the Patriarchs mostly gone, it was clear to Davis now that Xerax, a Level Nine Immortal King Beast, now reigned supreme. He couldn't kill the surviving Ancestors or the Grand Elders, but he could very well force them to bend to his will.

That was the unique ability of a King-Tier existence, to be able to command the lifeforms that have its blood. The same could be said about an Emperor-Tier Beast, but they could influence even more to the point of brainwashing as long as they have power and even command King-Tier Beasts as they bend their wills.

The world of magical beasts was never about equality. Even if there was peace, it never could be.

As Xerax's kingly aura reverberated in the area, everyone was subdued.

The old Ancestors were simply unable to go against him even though they had the power to just flick their wrists and one-shot him.

In Davis's eyes, this was simply ridiculous, but it told volumes of how a King-Tier existence ruled over their race. Unless one is at least two minor stages above or has a unique variance, they can stop thinking about resisting a King-Tier existence's will.

Nonetheless, he saw the inheritors lower their heads, probably trying to communicate so that they could get out of this situation by themselves, even though they were barely able to resist Xerax's kingly aura.

"We will leave." Xerax harrumphed and looked at the two Ancestors, "Open the node to the outside world right now." This chapter's initial release occurred on the n0vell--Bjjn site.

"..."

"But..." Someone else interrupted amidst the silence, "... but such forceful actions after we painstakingly sealed the mini-realm would destabilize it, causing it to start collapsing..."

"I'm not asking for your opinion."

*Bang!~*

Youil and the other two inheritors glared at Xerax.

Their inheritances contained many treasures, even nurturing grounds that might allow one to ignite their blood to have a chance at obtaining King-Tier Blood. However, most clans end up using it when they face decline, so the three inheritors knew that they wouldn't have a chance to experience such an extravagance as their Cyan Soul Rat Clan had already used up such a thing, leaving them with no choice but to listen to this cunning asshole as they couldn't have King-Tier Blood themselves.

Even though it was extremely clear that Xerax wanted to escape by himself, his plan was so good that they couldn't find any holes in it. Everything he said or did became a gospel for the clan.

In the distance, Davis saw this scene play out and felt the need to clap hands.

Even he couldn't find any holes in that plan as he did not want to massacre an entire clan just because their higher-ups got greedily malicious, so chances are that he would've let the people go after obtaining sky-high compensation.

However, his father was also still hunted by them from what he knew, so he was prepared to enslave them for the rest of their lives. If they ever surrendered, they could only live as slaves from that day onwards.

But now, he was even more pissed.

He preferred idiots like Killian Zenflame over this cunning fellow who tried to appeal to his magnanimity only to try to backstab later on, although Killian Zenflame did the same thing with Shirley before he could no longer keep up the act. Regardless, his eyes turned cold upon hearing such a plan.

Nearing the Voidslime Realm Eater while still being concealed, he threw a powerful explosive talisman at it and rushed away.

*BOOOM!~*

"ZIAAAAAAAA!~"

As Xerax and the others continued discussing, an explosion suddenly went off at the dormant spatial menace, causing it to roar in pain and anger.

"!!!"

Their scalps turned numb, and they quickly rushed off into the distance, but the Voidslime Realm Eater elongated its body and followed them like a giant snake, its body slithering and wiggling in the air as it made its way to one of their cities; appearing to no longer tolerate their existence.

Wherever it went, space trembled in its wake. Its surroundings distorted and seemed to be pulled into its body, an enormous force of attraction acting on everything in its vicinity.
