After a minute, Davis opened his eyes as the vast sea and skies came into his view. He possessed a peculiar outlook on the world as he cast a look at the thousands of powerful carcasses, inwardly thanking them for the meal.
At this moment, all the exhaustion from the fight came crashing down on him, making him close his eyes as he felt the sharp pain pulsate again. He had used ten percent of his essence energy and almost seventy percent of his martial energy, making him feel a bit exhausted other than the periodically reverberating pain.
He opened his eyes and moved his left shoulder that still had a ’bit of an arm’ around. His eyes couldn’t help but twitch that it looked both terrible and funny. He had his arm severed before, but this was something all the way to the shoulder, making him feel a bit nostalgic.
