Davis took a step forward and flew into the skies, following them.
The wicked path hegemons who had come to see the chaos did catch their figures, but they didn’t go as far as to risk their lives to start a conversation with them.
Davis looked at them and wondered if they would intentionally spread the information about him to the immortal world, which he felt was a given. But to silence them, he couldn’t go asking or forcing them all to swear an oath or die as that would make him a tyrant than someone trying to protect himself.
‘Heck, even some righteous path hypocrites or pure strangers would leak my ability to the immortal world. Who knows? One of them might’ve already ascended and started to spread information about me already...’
There were many secluded places, like the Poison Rift Valley’s many rifts and the sealed lightning space in the Hundred Devil Thunder Archipelago. Even mini-realms that were occupied like the Forsaken Phoenix Realm could be considered secluded locations, still being able to ascend from there.
He knew that it was possible for secluded peak powerhouses to secretly ascend and begin plotting against him or go about their own way, but the former could be advantageous for them, considering that they might earn status and wealth for warning them off a future danger or even a future genius that they could nurture.
That’s how powers worked, so he was already cautious enough to make Heaven Gazing Emperor and Mandate Emperor swear to not reveal about Clara and Tia until he said so, but the fact that his ability was already out in the open made him a clear target to be aware of, although it did help him walk freely in this place and struck fear into the hearts of his enemies.
‘If killing those wicked path fools gave me a chance to remain unknown, I would’ve most likely done it, but it seems like I can only take this disadvantage to the face and not fall before it, huh?’
Davis decided that it was useless to kill them and let them go.
Of course, he already made an example out of four wicked path hegemons today, so he wanted to see who would dare to plot against him.
Suddenly, he caught sight of the Fiendish Yin Empress looking at him with charming eyes as they matched gazes, her sleeveless and scantily wore clothes becoming looser as her voluptuous body became more visible as she blatantly tried to seduce him with the Yang Hellflame Emperor by her side.
‘Uh-uh, that’s a no-go...’
Davis instantly moved his gaze away, learning that there was already one wicked path hegemon who wanted to ride on his ‘coattails’ instead of going against him, reminding him that there were also opportunists or pure pleasure seekers like her.

Suddenly, he heard Isabella’s voice after that short awkward pause after they flew away that his ears couldn’t help but perk up.
Knowing that Davis was listening, Lea Weiss seemed unperturbed as she answered.

Isabella and Evelynn smiled as they could see a crimson hue emerge on her face and even take over her neck and ear. Although her voice seemed unperturbed, it seemed like her pounding heart was truthful to her words.
“Why? Is there a reason?” Isabella asked before she shrugged, “It’s fine if you don’t have one because mine is a bit unnatural and selfish, stemming from jealousy...”
“... I see.”
Lea Weiss didn’t know what to say to her words.
Another woman talking to her this close was utterly foreign to her, but she knew this would be her life from now on and forcefully answered.

Human emotions were like this... practically no one would be satisfied if they were not first or treated preferentially. A small minority may not fit into this rule and would instead be satisfied with just living their lives as they please, but when the time comes, they would still act like the former, becoming needy or violent enough to gain it through soft or hard force.

Fortunately, Nadia took him down, resulting in Ancestor Dian Alstreim escaping while losing only one of his legs which is treatable.”
Davis’s brows raised as his pupils dilated. He calmed the next moment before he asked.
“No one died, right?”
“Zero casualties, and also, I’ve captured that weak Hidden Night Emperor alive.”
Evelynn confidently answered as her purple eyes majestically shone, causing Davis to smile at her deeply.
He had always done things on his own. It was his first time relying on someone other than Nadia and Isabella to protect his family in his stead when danger strikes, and the fact that Evelynn successfully defeated the Hidden Night Emperor and even went as far as to succeed in capturing him made him feel gratified, as well as crave her that he almost wanted to grab her head and plant a hot kiss on her sexy lips.
Unfortunately, she was a soul-body at this moment, and so was Nadia, who also led the defensive forces lent by the Magical Beast Sanctuary to take care of numerous weaker assassins.
“Thank you so much, Evelynn and Nadia.”

Evelynn rejected while Nadia smirked, both of them smiling at him with warm expressions.
“The despicable wicked path sent so many assassins.” Isabella looked angered, “Davis, since you killed four of their hegemons, you better have swiped them clean till they have nothing to offer to their descendants.”
“Of course, it’s all in here.”
Davis raised his hand as he pointed at his spatial ring and started to investigate the loot that he obtained from four hegemons, including all the powerhouses and experts who died, amassing a massive amount of wealth and resources that would last for generations upon generations if they don’t use it for themselves.
