Chapter 3847 Herb Cultivation
Davis felt a surge of affection for Everlight. He swallowed it and beamed at her.
"Understood. I'll pay more visits and bring the children for you to play with."
"Wonderful~"
Everlight's azure tails happily wagged as she thought about the future visits from Davis and the children, excited to see them again and spend more time with them. However, there was even more of a deeper wish that he would get her pregnant, but she suppressed that thought as it was required for the power to have all hands available.
As a Guardian who once looked after an entire power along with eleven other Guardians with eleven other unique perspectives, she knew the headaches involved in protecting a power wouldn't allow the heads to care about interpersonal relationships.
Right now, she was just enjoying her freedom, relaxing, and tending to the garden.
Nonetheless, she knew why Davis was here, and she took him to the place.
"Woah, they're growing well..."
Davis saw the sprouts of the Duality Harmony-Anarchy Vine.
The sprouts of the Duality Harmony-Anarchy Vine were a vibrant shade of crimson-jade, reaching towards the skies with determination. Each tiny shoot seemed to exude energy and life, its leaves unfurling in intricate patterns. Davis marveled at how quickly they were growing despite their exquisite grades. It was a beautiful sight to behold, a symbol of balance and chaos intertwined in perfect harmony.
However, he knew this was just the initial stage.
It would take longer to grow into a true Duality Harmony-Anarchy Vine. In fact, it wouldn't grow into one. It would just be considered an offshoot of the treasure, but he had spread Fallen Heaven's life energy in the beginning into the roots in minor amounts, so he doesn't trigger anything but also looks forward to the end result.
As for trying to plant the Divine Jade Cicada Fruit or the Cataclysmic Ruinbloom Pear, he could forget about it.
They would either absorb the entire nutrients from the soil and even the formation without leaving anything or completely destroy the land. If he wanted more of them, he would need a unique location to try growing them, and even then, it was unknown if he could produce them even with Fallen Heaven, as one was the amalgamation of chaos and the other destruction, one of which life energy would be hard pressed to produce and the other hard pressed to do.
Why?
Because Founder Rocksunder said that the Earth Dragon Clan didn't focus on the official routes but on the back roads and hidden paths that only the most experienced cultivators knew about. Originally, these secret routes were not only safer but also faster, allowing them to avoid unnecessary delays and potential dangers along the way.
However, it seemed like they were searching for the inheritors and even Davis since there was a chance that he could also appear here as one of his wives was the Earth Dragon Clan's inheritor.
After having a passionate bout with Mingzhi, Davis finally exited.
He appeared on the deck and saw that they were almost halfway toward the southern border town. The checkpoints were also lax since they were not carrying much goods to begin with, and people rarely knew about Founder Alstreim and Klade's identities.
There was no need for Tanya and the others to be aboard since they were traversing the main route.
The rest of the group were all inside the Nine-Treasured Ordeal Palace, which was kept concealed, and its unique walls even stopped any blood crystal karmic devices from detecting the inheritors, shocking them.
When they crossed the first checkpoint, Founder Rocksunder and the others wished Davis had been here earlier since they had tripped so many of those blood crystals that located them through karmic bloodline resonance, making them flee for their lives every freaking day.
It was only these few days that it stopped since the efficiency of these devices was dropping, but there were still some that seemed to be used in checkpoints just to keep up appearances. After all, they couldn't help but notice the checkpoints were really lax.
Davis didn't stay on the deck for long and returned.
He saw Shirley was still with her friends, Sierra and Hirona. They now looked somewhat better, but Shirley still looked worried, causing him to inwardly sigh.
He knew this was about Flamerose and Frostrose, but he had no way to pursue them since Flamerose had already left towards the northwest while he was heading southwest. They were going in different directions, so it was near impossible to catch up.
In fact, if nothing went wrong, Flamerose would be in the northern border town by now, which leads to the Silverwing Haven Lower Realm and then the Ice Phoenix Lower Realm. He could only wish for her safety. However, he was afraid that it wouldn't be easy, even with the blood crystal devices losing their efficiency.
In fact, if Frostrose decided to go to the Fire Phoenix Lower Realm to search for Flamerose, then they would completely miss each other. They would be going in circles, trying to find each other, and would eventually be caught.
He wanted to go chase Flamerose and find Flamerose in order to save them, but it also happened that his friends were in danger and his family could be besieged any time he lowered his guard or made a stupid move like directing his attention elsewhere. His hands were tied beyond compare, and he simply didn't know what to do other than head towards the Azure Tree Lower Realm as planned.
Eventually, his flying ship arrived at the Southern Border Town, but like before, they searched for a pirate town to enter. The checkpoints on the main routes may not have been stringent, but the checkpoints in the Realm Towns were always stringent and heavily guarded.
