He was tempted to go right now and return home later. He didn't need to make trips twice. That would take a toll on Stella.

However, I don't know what happened behind the scenes. Your old master could've merely not been able to go to the Ivory Moon Sanctuary Lower Realm and retrieve the treasure without anyone impeding her."

"Are you implying that she used me?" Illumina Lunarisse asked.

Her expression remained the same, but her voice definitely sounded displeased.

"Not implying." Davis chuckled, "Just a probability..."

Illumina Lunarisse stared at Davis before she sighed, "I also felt that could've been the case, considering I got caught almost instantly as though someone had informed my appearance in this city. However, I don't think it would be my Empress. Most likely, someone in the family she married to leaked my information. They might probably know that she is a Lunarisse now since I made quite a scene when intruding into their hidden area."

"I hope it is the case for your own sake."

Davis nodded, "Regardless, you belong to me now. I won't let you say you forgot that you would do anything for me after rescuing this little girl."
