Chapter 3999 Undying Flesh And Soul?
There was stifling silence when Davis mentioned that this grotesque woman was another owner of the Violent Punitive Soul Physique.
It made her smile come undone as she stared at Davis with wide eyes as though taking a look at him again, perhaps even marking him.
"You're not just a supreme genius, are you? A Divergent? Anarchic Divergent? Two Divergents staying together? What kind of twisted joke is this? Pfft-ahahaah!"
The woman laughed crazily, and as she did so, more blood spurted out of her maimed body. It was such a gruesome sight that Davis felt disgusted.
"Regardless," Abruptly, her laughter died down, "I don't care if you are able to survive in the fifth level with a prowess that's apart from your cultivation base, but if you obstruct my actions, I will curse and haunt you until I find you and make you a wretched part of me."
"..."
Davis blinked, wondering what that was supposed to mean. "You seem to have devised a peculiar technique with your Violent Punitive Soul Physique to be still alive despite the plethora of injuries from powerful weapons. I guess the Heaven's Warriors had no choice but to seal you."
"Hateful Heaven's Warriors!~"
The woman growled and the chains rattled as though they were almost going to give in yet a dark energy ricocheted off of it and almost landed near his feet, causing Davis to feel a bone-chilling cold shoot up his spine. He was able to stop himself from shivering, but Vereina's trembling only made it worse.
The pressure was just too much to bear.
"Bastard! If you don't leave her here, I will curse you for an eternity! Even if you reincarnate, don't think you can get rid of my curse!"
"..."
Davis's brows were squinted. He forcefully maintained his composure under the aura that made him want to flee.
"We are in Vereina's mental realm. You have merely taken over her power, and her power can't beat me. I'm sure I have no need to fear you unless I get to the sixth level."
Davis forced a chuckled out, "But I doubt your presence can reach the sixth level. Otherwise, the Heaven's Warriors would've gathered like an army and sealed the rift place long ago. That hand that almost got us- I presume it's just a big dark wraith that you can control a bit better. Right now, you tripped a light-attributed talisman that further keeps you away from the fifth level. Do you really want to bring an army of Heaven's Warriors to spank you again?"
"Punk! You dare be disrespectful!? I am over thirty billion years old! My cultivation base is beyond your comprehension! Are you retarded enough to not understand who you're dealing with!?"
The grotesque woman's face shifted into one of wrath, and more blood spurted out her body as she shrieked at Davis. Her eyes, nose, and mouth, all seven orifices, were bleeding relentlessly, making it a horrifying sight.
Davis's expression was indifferent. He barely managed to swallow his saliva, which did nothing to wet the dryness he felt.
Thirty billion years old... that was even older than the records having a mention of the Celestial Transcendent, which meant she was a senior even to him. Compared to the two of them, the World Master was practically just a baby since she was born recently in the last few millions of years.
It made sense as to why this old witch didn't appear as a normal human being in her soul form but as someone who was maimed and trapped by dozens of weapons in this mental realm. She was sealed for so long that her soul now identified her maimed being as her normal form or even in another mental realm, she couldn't escape the fate of being chained, suffering immense pain. n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
He supposed so... since that removed all dignity but he felt like there was more to it, especially since she mentioned a dimension that he felt was where she truly was located in, and the so-called Whispering Rift was where it led to.
"Don't scream like a miserable abandoned woman by her husband."
Davis frowned with an annoyed expression, "I don't know who you are, but you aren't getting anywhere without souvenirs. We'll stay like this all day long if that's what you wish for."
Vereina tightened her hold as she trembled more. It seemed that she was scared he would really abandon her.
"I swear I'll-"
The grotesque woman's entire body trembled, sending out waves and waves of mountainous pressure that threatened to seal their fate, but she suddenly stopped. The entire temple turned silent. The chains clanged lightly as she relaxed and opened her mouth.
"Fine, you stood your ground. What kind of treasure do you want? Herbs? Medicines? Souls? Or women...?"
Her gaze flashed with a strange light, and three women appeared from the shadows behind her.
Their appearances were hazy.
Their eyes were dull, but their figures were extraordinary. They were all naked.
"Hehe~ One is a princess from the Three-Headed Hydra Lower Realm's Tridon Clan, a Level Six Empyrean. Although there's no longer a soul, her virginity is still there for your taking. The other two, although they don't have their primal yin essences, are beauties beyond your grasp. One is the first wife of a Realm Master from this realm who fell to my wrath, and the other is a Seven-Colored Phoenix Fey who clearly didn't know her place and challenged me. What do you say? They're both at Level Seven Autarch Stage. I'll give you all three for her."
"..."
Davis was simply stunned for a moment before he glared at her, a sharp glint appearing in his eyes.
The grotesque woman's gaze flickered, "Are you worried they won't be good in bed because they lack consciousness?"
"These bodies are in perfect condition. I was about to make them my servants after my resurrection, but they couldn't keep their mouths shut, you know... but don't worry- I'll teach you an art to put discarnate souls in them and you keep them close to warm your bed every single day."
"Perfect." Davis couldn't help but smile.
"But I'm more interested in your ability to remain undying, you know."
"Mhm? That's a steep ask, don't you think?"
"I get lucky sometimes..." Davis's smile became more cocky.
"Ahaahah~" A cackle escaped from her mouth, "Unfortunately, this is something that only I and Vereina are capable of. Well, that is not quite right since Vereina needs to reach my cultivation stage first. Even if you could, I won't teach you since it concerns the secrets of my undying life."
Davis and the grotesquely maimed woman glared at each other.
It seems like they were at an impasse, neither gaining what they wanted to obtain.
