Chapter 11 - Crown Prince, His Highness Xuan Shanyuan (2)

Two pairs of eyes met.

It took only a moment before both of them recovered themselves.

Jiang Ying Yue wondered who this man was.

Clad in a pure white robe, it made him look ethereal; like a deity from heaven overlooking the humans on earth. He had a long golden hair flowing down his shoulder, a straight eyebrows framing those beautiful pair of eyes and a thin pink lips. A three-petals lotus symbol in blue was seen in the middle of his forehead.

But wait! Those eyes.. they were golden in color. So unique, so beautiful.

There might be a lot going on in Jiang Ying Yue's little head but it was not shown in the slightest on the surface. Perhaps, even though he was such a beautiful man, she was not ready for any love interest yet. She was still healing from the heartbreak caused by her ex-boyfriend.

Meanwhile, the person in question, was wondering in his head too.

'Who is this girl? She seemed to be shocked the first time she saw him but then she recovered very quickly and seemed indifferent after that.'

Jiang Qiu took the opportunity while they were quiet after they sat down to introduce Jiang Ying Yue to the people in the room and introduced them to Jiang Ying Yue.

Apart from her brothers, there were four other persons in the room.

Obviously, the first one was Li Zhiqiang, the happy-go-lucky guy. If one would describe him, he would be the twin of Jiang Xiang. They got along really well.

The next person was Tang Liwei, a seventeen year-old famous merchant's son. His father owned a lot businesses all over the country including the biggest auction house in the whole East Continent.

Sitting to the left side of Tang Liwei was a man almost similar features to the ethereal looking man. He was the third prince of Heavenly Cloud Empire, Xuan Jianhai. He had a more scholarly looking features, well.. a good-looking scholar I must say. But, he had a brown colored hair and black eyes unlike his brother.

At twenty-one years old, Xuan Jinhai was already the owner of Orbis Building and a few other famous businesses in the country. It wasn't that he was not talented in martial arts, in fact, he was a green innate talent; which explains his green colored space-shaped symbol on his forehead.

But, he was more interested in business than martial arts. He loved money a little too much.

The last person, the golden-haired man, was His Highness the Crown Prince, Xuan Shanyuan. The legendary genius in the country, a three-elements wielder.

Apparently, after he had awoken his full potential at the age of 16, his eyes and hair changed to golden. Why? It signified the awakening of his full potential and his ability in wielding all three elements.

Even Jiang Qiu had not awaken his full potential yet.

It was said that some people take half of their lives to awaken their full potential while some with lesser talent would not awaken their full potential at all!

Xuan Shanyuan was just a genius among geniuses ah!

Heaven was really unfair!

..............

The boys talked while having dinner with Xuan Shanyuan chipping in here and there.

It seemed like they were very familiar with each other.

Suddenly, Tang Liwei looked at Jiang Ying Yue and asked: "Hey little Yue, where were you at all this while? We heard that you were sent outside to recuperate. Are you in a better health now?"

'Damn, what kind of bad luck is this? I was really keeping a low profile and yet you still could see me.'

It was not that she was arrogant. It's just that she was in a room with a lot of big shots. Of course, back on earth, she was used to be in the same room with big shots but this was a whole different scale okay?! They had TWO real princes here.

She was nervous. She wanted to cry, but she had no tears. Wuuuuuuuu

"I was sent to a mountain to recuperate. It was someone that my mother knows, a good friend of hers. She was a good alchemist and doctor but she lived in seclusion. My health has gotten a lot better recently so she allowed me to go back home."

That was the script that her mother had prepared with her and agreed upon by her family members if anyone ever asks her about it.

Most good alchemist or doctor lived in seclusion, away from the world because they wanted a peaceful life. Plus, no one dared to offend them either. If anyone every tries to hurt them, the family of the people that they had saved before might eradicate your whole family because of it. And that person, might just be an emperor or a person from a powerful sect.

Tang Liwei was satisfied with the answer.

Well, it was famous all over capital that the last child of the general's manor had a weak constitution and had to be sent outside for treatment.

Throughout the whole conversation, Xuan Shanyuan looked at Jiang Ying Yue thoughtfully. No one knew what he was thinking.

This man, whether it was drinking, eating or even talking, he moved very gracefully.

The boys continued their own topics of discussions and a soft, melodious voice asked "Why is your little sister wearing a veil Jiang Qiu?"

Stunned at the question, Jiang Qiu looked at his best friend thoughtfully.

Even the blabbermouths Jiang Xiang and Li Zhiqiang stopped talking in the middle of their conversation.

All of them, with the exception of the brothers were curious. But they did not dare to ask, scared that it might be a sensitive question.

Jiang Qiu did not mind the question at all, it's just he was worried that it might hurt his little sister's feelings.

He then answered "Your Highness, Yue'er has to wear a veil because it was instructed by her doctor. She said that it's due to health reasons. Even we do not know why."

Xuan Shanyuan just nodded showing his understanding. But whether he believed it or not, who knows?

But one thing for sure, he was attracted to this girl due to her indifference to him. He was so used to girls flocking him and acting bashfully around him that this kind of indifference made him curious as to why? Why wasn't she attracted? Why was she different from others?
