Chapter 44 - Qi Refiner Level 5

Jiang Ying Yue passed her days by learning alchemy with Yan Hua, cultivating in the Godly Space and training with the strict master Long Xing.

A week passed just like that and Yan Hua announced that he would be away for one week to handle a certain matter regarding the alchemist guild.

Jiang Ying Yue sent him away at the front door of the manor and she went back inside.

Thus, another week passed by with her cultivating, training with Long Xing and practicing alchemy in the alchemy room. Yan Hua had given her permission to use the room when he was away.

Today, in the Godly Space, Jiang Ying Yue was practicing close combat with Long Xing when she felt the bottleneck was about to be broken through.

She hurriedly paused and sat down to regulate the Spiritual Energy in her body.

Long Xing saw that she was about to breakthrough so he sat down in front of her in case she needed help.

Jiang Ying Yue guided the chaotic energies in her body and without her realizing it, her body started absorbing the Spiritual Qi in the air rapidly.

She hurriedly guided the energies through her meridian to her dantian.

30 minutes later, she opened her eyes and smiled. The first thing she saw was the ever-so-beautiful Long Xing sitting in front of her.

She shouted happily. "Long Xing, I have finally broken through to Qi Refiner Level 5! Now you can teach me how to hide my appearance and other skills!"

Long Xing smiled and rubbed her head. "Congratulations! Yes now I can teach you a lot of other things. I will guide you more as you grow stronger."

"Great! Let's celebrate this!"

"Ha? Celebrate? With what?" Long Xing asked.

"Come come. You will know later." Jiang Ying Yue grabbed Long Xing hands and brought him inside the house.

The man was startled at first and his neck turned red. He had never hold hands with a girl before and now beautiful one is holding his hands. This girl surely had no shame at all.

Unaware to Long Xing's inner turmoil, Jiang Ying Yue on the other hand was excited to the core.

Why? Because she just remembered that she had her instant noodles in the kitchen and she greatly missed her wine too!

"Sit and wait for me. I'll be right back." She then ran towards the kitchen.

Long Xing did not listen to her and instead, he followed after her to the kitchen.

Jiang Ying Yue opened one of the kitchen cabinets and sure enough, she found lots of instant noodles inside! Ah she missed it so much!

She opened her fridge and took out spring onion, meat and eggs. She was thankful that she forgot to clean up her fridge before she left and the ingredients inside were still new.

She took a pot and boil the water on the induction cooker. She then washed the ingredients and cut them one by one.

Long Xing looked intently at the induction cooker. When the water started boiling, he was surprised! In his world, you need the tree branches to start fire or use fire element on the tree branch. But this, you only need to touch that thing and it will start boiling the water? With no fire at that?

Long Xing had been surprised again and again that he thought he would get a heart attack one day from all the surprises.

Jiang Ying Yue's original world was so fun ah! They might not have magic but they had a lot of fun things!

After Jiang Ying Yue was done cooking the instant noodles, she poured it into two bowls and brought it to the table. She also brought two glasses of filtered water.

Both Jiang Ying Yue and Long Xing sat down. "This is called an instant noodle in my world. We do make handmade noodles just like in your world, but sometimes, we don't have time to make or go buy it thus, we cook instant noodles to feed ourselves. It is very good!"

She then took a bite. "Oo so good! I miss this!" The spicy chemically taste. She missed it. It was not a healthy meal but it was definitely tasty! Being a socialite she was, sometimes she missed eating instant noodles too.

Long Xing took a bite. The taste was a bit spicy and weird. It was not as clean as the taste he was used to back then but.. this was good too.

He finished his food in no time at all. Seeing that, Jiang Ying Yue chuckled.

"Buddy, it seems like you love instant noodle too. Don't worry. I will cook more delicious food for you later on." She promised.

Again, Long Xing did not understand what buddy meant but could roughly guess it.

Jiang Ying Yue clapped her hands and went to her wine cellar. Her wine cellar was a room hidden behind the kitchen so no one could see it.

She came back with her favorite red wine and 2 empty wine glasses.

Long Xing saw the green bottle and two transparent things in her hands.

"What is that?" He asked.

"This? Hehe it is not a celebration if we don't have wine to celebrate it with! This is called a red wine from my world. This has been fermented for 80 years." Then she lifted the wine glass. "This is a wine glass. It is made of glass, a material that exist everywhere in my world. We don't use wooden cups anymore."

"Wine? You can drink wine? But this wine looks a bit weird." Long Xing commented.

"Of course I can. Back in my world, I was already a 23 year-old independent woman! I just look like a kid in this world sadly."

She poured the wine and as usual, gave one to Long Xing and one to herself.

Long Xing waited for her to drink it first then he drank it. It was a courtesy act then he had practiced since he was a kid.

He.. loved the wine so much. He taste the slight bitterness and slight burn in his throat. "This is a lot better than the wine in my world. I love this."

Jiang Ying Yue was enjoying her wine so she smiled. "Right right? Well I haven't tasted the wine in your world yet but I bet that nothing can beat my favorite red wine!"

At this moment,she did not know that one day, she would fall in love with the wine made by a certain evildoer and she would beg for him to give her some shamelessly. She would even disregard her 'beloved' red wine just for the wine made by that man.

And that evildoer enjoyed tormenting her so much because he could see her cute pout everytime she was denied getting his wine.

But that was a story for another time.
