Chapter 48 - Important Guests

A thin layer of cold sweat appeared on Jiang Ying Yue's forehead.

Blue colored stream of lights of be seen constantly flowing out of her fingers seeping into the skin of the injured rabbit in front of her.

The rabbit was bleeding profusely. And she had been treating the rabbit non-stop for the past 2 hours.

When she saw that the blood slowly starting to stop, she chanted: "Percuro hei."

Her eyes flashed in light blue at a fast rate when she chanted it before returning back to black.

Slowly, the rabbit's wound started closing up.

"Fuh." Jiang Ying Yue let out soft sigh before looking at her master.

Yan Hua smiled softly and gave a gentle nod at her. "The rabbit is all healed now. According to your rate now, you will be able to master the skills to be a healer in 3 months time. But don't forget to continue practicing it everyday."

"Yes master." Jiang Ying Yue obeyed.

It had been two weeks since she started officially learning to be a healer under Yan Hua's guidance. As what he had mentioned before, it was a hard process. Especially when she first started learning it. It was really hard to control the flow of her power along with her mental strength to heal an animal.

Yan Hua brought injured animals that he found in the forest for her to treat and there was one time where he even purposely injured his own hand for her to treat. Really, that old man was willing to be her guinea pig ah.

There was no book for her to read except for the knowledge that he imparted to her in her memories. The day when she started learning it was when just like Long Xing, Yan Hua touched the middle of her forehead with his forefinger and immediately after that, an ancient scroll appeared in her head. The scroll contained all the ways to become am 'Aethereus Healer'.

But knowing it theoretically and practicing it on hand was a totally different thing. It was super hard!

Her schedule had been pretty hectic everyday but she did not mind it. In fact,she enjoyed it very much!

She would study alchemy with Yan Hua in the morning and healing in the afternoon. Then she would practice elemental combat with Long Xing before cultivating. She did not need to sleep as cultivating refreshed her body and mind and well, she loved sleeping. What to do?

Therefore, everyday, she would allocate 5 hours to sleep in the Godly Space.

Meh, the time there worked slower anyways so 5 hours in there didn't worth much in the real world.

In the middle of autumn, Jiang Ying Yue got out of the Godly Space early in the morning because Yan Hua had told her yesterday that they would be receiving an important guest today and she was required to meet them too.

There, she got up earlier and showered in the space before dressing herself in a new autumn robe in snow white embroidered with gold threads slightly on the sleeves and the hem of the robe. She styled her long hair in a half up-half down style adorned with a few simple flower-shaped hair ornaments.

Jiang Ying Yue then wore a white veil to cover her face.

Why? Because she felt that it was fun to do so. Plus, she was already used to it. She had no qualms over not wearing her veil she still just felt like wearing it.

After she was done, as what she always did in her previous life, she sprayed just a little bit of her favorite Gucci Bloom perfume before disappearing and appearing back in her chamber.

Jiang Ying Yue styled herself a little bit today because she did not want to embarrass Yan Hua in front of their important guests. Plus, although on a daily basis she did not dress herself much, she still liked dolling herself up just like in her previous life.

It was just that, she knew when to and to not dress herself up. She could not dress herself when she was just practicing alchemy and cultivating could she?

Jiang Ying Yue headed straight to the main hall as Yan Hua could already be seen sitting there.

Yan Hua heard footsteps and when he looked up, he was astonished.

This little lass had been growing really well since she came here.

She had grown taller, gained a bit of weight and her skin was glowing. She was still skinny but she was no longer thin and malnourished. Ah he was sure that when this lass grew up, even just as her master, he would have to fend of a lot of hungry wolfs coveting her.

"Good morning master." A sweet voice sounded.

"Good morning Ying Yue. Sit sit. They will be here soon and we will have breakfast together." Yan Hua said, smiling.

Before Jiang Ying Yue could answer, housekeeper San's voice was heard.

"Master, Young Miss, our guests are here."

"Bring them in." Yan Hua ordered. He then stood up to welcome their important guests.

Shortly after that, an tall old man clad in dark green robe came inside the hall. Following behind him, a tall teenager, clad in mint colored robe was seen.

He was a good looking man. He was as good looking as Jiang Qiu! He had a phlegmatic temperament giving people a calm and peaceful feeling.

Jiang Qiu had an approachable but introverted personality. Only to Jiang Ying Yue, his brothers and his close friends would he show his emotions. Xuan Shanyuan an authoritative aura to him and observant personality. Long Xing was easy going but this guy had a very calm and serene aura giving people a sense of peace being around him. But his sharp eyes showed that behind that calm temperament of his, lied a very wise man.

'Who are these two people?' Jiang Ying Yue wondered.
